We made a Open Table reservation and upon arrival were told we had about a 10-15 min wait even though there were 3-4 open tables which apparently were held for regulars and or no open table customers. Anyway , when we finally sat our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and the cuts of steak. Very good service from waiter. Most workers were friendly and accommodating. Bartenders lacked personality for sure. Overall food was very good , a bit pricey and costs for extras were a bit tacky when spending $30 for steak. We enjoyed our food and will probably go back again.
Had a great experience the food was amazing the service was incredible I got the mani mahi portion was huge the pork chop was delicious as well truffle Mac is amazing
Surprised and happy the restaurant was not busy around 6:30pm on a Saturday evening. We were seated before our reservation time when our whole party wasn’t present which was very nice. The town setting and the interior of Fire were both very nice. Service was wonderful and food delicious with many choices. Our party of 10 were all very pleased by our entire experience at 🔥 Fire.
Waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. She made some great recommendations. Food was very good - medium rare steak a little over cooked. Price was reasonable for meals. We arrived and restaurant was empty with exception of one other couple. We were seated at s table very close to back -a table for four - against a wall- not very favorable. Restaurant did not fill up while we were there do not sure why we were seated there. If we were to return would definitely request a table near middle of restaurant.
Gator bites and fried pickles were the best I’ve had. (And I eat out a lot). We got the grouper and shrimp and lobster pasta which were delicious as well.
We had a party of eight and everyone enjoyed their food. Excellent service!
We enjoyed a variety of delicious apps and the entertainment was wonderful! Our waiter wasn't as attentive as we would have liked. He took a long time to come to our table, mixed up our drink order and also charged us for the mixed-up drink order. But it didn't ruin our evening. We will definitely go back to Fire, especially on Wednesdays when the jazz trio is playing.
Men had steaks, sirloin & filet. They were great. Ladies had salmon which they also enjoyed. Biggest complaint was a pesky knat that seemed to like our wine. Overall good dining experience. We’ll be back.
Overall a good experience. My rib-eye steak contained lots of gristle. The other 3 people in our party ordered the petite filets and raved about it. Based on their experience I would give it another chance. Musical entertainment at the end of our dinner was excellent.
We were seated at a table right next to the bar even though there were plenty of other tables. It was extremely noisy there. When the waitress brought our drink order I asked if we could be moved to another table. Which she did even though she couldn’t be our waitress there. Much better table and noise level. Food and service was outstanding
Dining as a foursome on Saturday evening, we found the food to be creative and generally well prepared, excepting the side salads, which were totally unremarkable and I would probably opt for the soup on my next visit. The steaks were very flavorful and tender, the fish dishes expertly executed. Meals overall are very reasonably priced.
The wine list, while not extensive nor adventurous, had enough selections for most diners. Almost all the wines on the list are available by the bottle or the glass.
Our server, Ginger, was attentive and seemed well-trained with the exception of the wine service -- she neither presented the bottle before opening, nor did she pour a taste for the wine to be accepted before she poured for the entire table. The food came out of the kitchen quickly; however we were there a little early, with a 6 PM reservation.
Food was excellent. Server was great, but staff didn't keep table cleared. White table cloths would be nice enhancement. Need to do something about the noise level - way too loud.
Went for Valentine’s Day. Good took a while to get out despite not being crazy busy but even our waitress was like “where’s their food?” (We saw her mouth that from afar). She was nice but wasn’t the most attentive and portions were decent size for price. Overall I would def go back for a nice evening out bc of the ambiance!
Just so-so. Not a place we would go out of our way to eat at. Really surprised they don't offer a 1/4 or 1/2 grilled chicken, since they offer grilled steak. The 2 chicken offerings on the menu were covered in so much stuff really made me wonder about the quality of the chicken. We tried it...but, for us, it didn't live up to the local hype.
Really enjoyed the food and the urban vibe. A little expensive but honestly it’s worth it.
Excellent food and service by Scott our server. Mozzarella sticks were only disappointment. Tasted frozen then fried. Steaks were excellent. Service was quick but not intrusive.
Ambiance was great. Our waitress was superb, it overall was a great experience.
Came on a Wednesday evening to find they had a 3 piece jazz band playing. The band was good, although a little too loud for conversation.
The food and service were outstanding. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium as requested and was one of the most flavorful ribeye steaks I have had.
We e;njoyed our meal
We will go back again
Service was fast
Been here a few times. always a good experience. Good food and service
We prefer vegetarian food and we found that there were very few options
Our food was delicious, I ordered the big Ribeye it was cooked perfect but when I ordered it I told our waitress I had garlic butter before but never truffle and could I please order it with garlic and have the truffle butter on the side which she responded no problem. Then about 10 minutes later she came back to advise me that she was sorry but only one butter was allowed and she would have to charge me an extra dollar for the truffle. So I cancelled the extra butter! I think for the amount we were spending that little dollop of butter could have been complimentary.
Then fast forward to desserts, we had 3 people in our party order dessert 2 apple crumb and one chocolate caramel something. The waitress came out and brought 2 of the desserts my husbands dessert she said would be right out! It was a good 20 minutes before his came out, the other two had finished theirs and were ready to go. He would have cancelled his dessert if the waitress ever came back to the table. One of the woman in our party found the manager so she could tell her the waitress did a great job because she didn’t feel as though it was her fault. I told her of course it was her fault the waitresses responsibility is to the customer and she should have never brought 2 without the 3rd to begin with! If there was a problem in the kitchen she should have notified the manager to atleast apologize for the delay.
I am still not sure if I would go back because of the experience but the food was awesome!
Second great meal at Fire, this time with friends. All menu items chosen were yummy and fresh, and we appreciated the live music duo mid-week (although a tad loud to talk over). Server was cheery, although she forgot to put in our appetizer order and seemed to be a bit disorganized checking back and providing flatware_). Only complaint is that bar does not know how to make a Dirty Martini, this is second time I've tried the drink there and latest order did not have any olives! Bar staff may need refresher on basic drinks...
The hostess acknowledged our reservation immediately and let us choose the table. The best part of our experience was Brian, our server. He was great, attentive without making you feel rushed. The food was great. It was our first trip there and we are anxious to return. Excellent
Our party of 6 all enjoyed their meals. Service was excellent and prompt which was important to us as we were going to Theater Winter Haven after dinner. Only complaint was you really need new dishes as many were chipped. Such well prepared food deserves better plates.
We had a delightful meal at Fire. I had the chicken, bacon, onion flatbread, and my husband had the fried shrimp dinner. Both meals were excellent, with generous portion sizes. Our server was very, pleasant, professional and efficient. She checked on us often and was quick to accommodate our needs.
This restaurant has not disappointed me yet, food is always good and service is great!
Second visit. Food was great. Exceptional service. Little loud with several Christmas parties. Will be back
Remodeled about 6 months ago. Beautiful. High scale dining and great menu reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back
Fire was a great find. We were travelling through the area and looking for a dog friendly place for lunch. We were seated at a nice shaded table in a courtyard in the back. It was undergoing some decorating to get ready for the holidays so it was a bit disheveled but the wait staff and the food were very good and I'm sure the atmosphere would be great too in a little while, They obviously were getting ready for the Holidays and they must have music and entertainment there at night, There were lights stung overhead and I'm sure it would be a fun place for an evening. It was cool and comfortable and quiet for us and for our dog and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
We love Fire but something has changed and we were very disappointed. I will start with service. Our server came to the table and took our drink order. I asked about specials and she said there were no specials yet. Maybe later? Very confusing. She brought our drinks and took our appetizer order. We ordered our entrees as well. The server never put any napkins, knives or forks on our table. We had to swipe them from a table nearby. Ordered the tuna appetizer. Use to be the best around but it came on a large plate (it looked lost on this plate) and it was so over cooked. Additionally, our salads were brought out before our appetizer. Server never asked what dressing we wanted. Simply brought oil and vinegar. Confusing?? I ordered the skirt steak with chimichurri. Steak was under seasoned and tasteless. Chimi has no flavor. Salt was absent. Cajun shrimp pasta was over cooked and the shrimp were overdone as well. We won’t be back for a while. Things seem to have gone downhill for this place. I shared a photo of the tuna appetizer.
Felt rushed -- entree was served while still eating appetizers.
Fantastic brunch. Thoroughly impressed!
First time there. Great food & terrific food. What more could one want?
We were there at the recommendation of a neighbor. The waiting staff including the hostess was friendly, informative, and was not concerned about who should do what. Meaning the hostess jumped right in to help the waitress. The food for Sunday brunch was very good. I would suggest a buffet once a month perhaps on Sundays.
Very ordinary in every way. Nothing special about the food, the service or the decor.
Very noisy inside - acoustics are dreadful and way too loud for conversation so sat outside where service was extremely slow. Food was fine, but noth8ng to write home about.
The new look of the decor really adds to the dining experience. Food and menu are nice and creative.
Loved eating here. The food was phenomenal service very good and we very much enjoyed our experience
