They were busy, but we had a reservation and still waited for 20 minutes before we could even talk to someone. Wait staff was pleasant enough but every step in the process took forever. We arrived at 6:00 and didn’t end and pay check until almost 9:00. Loud crowd there so the two of us could hardly hear each other across the table. And we had to return the bill before paying because they incorrectly charged us for two extra glasses of wine. Very disappointed.
Right combination of ambiance, good food, attentive service.
Two friends get together before going to the Monet exhibition. My friend ordered the salmon with risotto and it looked well prepared. He enjoyed it. I ordered the trout and it was a disappointment. A tiny piece of over cooked fish. The deserts were excellent.
What a great place for a light lunch before visiting the museums! Our service was good, food was served in a timely manner, and the views are hard to beat. We loved the artwork throughout the hotel - all in all, worth the time to enjoy!
Wait staff did not offer dessert. It was quite noisy.
over sauced - drenched seafood and beef entrees made the experience unenjoyable. better for bar and appetizers - skip dinner
It was a Monday evening and the restaurant was not busy. Waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Shared a salad. Seasonal entrees served with well matched sides. Very pleasant experience.
We were there for dinner after visiting the Monet exhibit so it may have been busier than usual but they were out of several things. We have usually been there for lunch and that has been a better experience.
Nice location and lovely art in walls. But food (We has salads) was average and service was awful. I had to ask twice for my wine and had to look for someone to check us out. Our server was nowhere to be seen most of the meal. Very unsatisfactory.
The restaurant seemed short staffed & our waitress seemed worn out & run ragged.
Food was fine, but nothing to write home about.
CBD cocktail was nice.
food unremarkable (Croque Monsieur and salade) wine by glass uninteresting. booth seating is awkward.
looks like a great place for summer cocktails
Friends meetings no before DAM Monet tour
Food and service were great!
The restaurant needed to be cleaned more thoroughly. The floor was dirty, upholstery stained, water glasses spotted. The food was fine, but the staff clearly did not pay attention to details that make for an enjoyable dining experience. It could be a superb dining venue if these oversights were addressed.
I'm going to stick to hilights. It took 10 minutes to be greeted. The Cobb salad was missing more than half the ingredients listed on the menu. The Risotto was a bowl of mush. The dessert was presented and coffee served, and then our server disappeared for 20 minutes. No mention of the Birthday from the reservation.
The food was terrible ... don't even bother with the starter tacos - really tasteless and the rizotto probably the worst I have ever had!!
The setting is nice and the staff / service is friendly but way over priced and not worth it at all
We had a wonderful dinner at the bar before enjoying the Monet exhibit. We the bartenders create their own cocktails and they were excellent.
Lunch after Art Museum visit with friend.
The service staff has some issues from the front door to the restaurant. One stand out was front desk staff member Ashley who was so helpful and delightful personality!
A wonderful leisurely lunch. Our wait person was just the best.
Christmas dinner for 2! Lovely. Tasty. Fun. Our only issue was that food came from the kitchen so fast that we felt a bit rushed.
Brunch on Xmas was $68. without drinks...so a little spendy. Great service. Beautiful space & art. I didnt feel like you were sitting on top of others. Food really yummy. Seafood, prime rib etc. Just lovely. Will go back.
Food was marginal at best for the price of 68.00 per person. Disappointed overall. Not enough vegan and gluten free options.
$69 for bacon and potatoes buffet? Not many options for the price. Mediocre at best.
Waiter was absolutely awful. So rude and when we asked for things (like a coffee) he rolled his eyes and acted like we’d asked for the most complicated thing on earth.
Also on Christmas Day was so disappointing to have someone so miserable serving us.
Wouldn’t come again for Christmas.
Great place for gathering after going to the DAM. My friends and I love it!
$50 for a $12 bottle of wine? Food was good but not served at proper temperature. You go here for the atmosphere and that’s about it.
Great evening including dinner and wait staff. Small dining room was perfect place for our family. Highly recommend!
Services were slow, food was average, & wine list was one of the worst I’ve seen recently.
Not good. Second time I have been there when menu listing did not match food served. Also all meat and seafood was overcooked. Waiter was not attentive. We were offered complimentary coffees because of issues but would have preferred excellent food and service.
A little disappointed in the menu. The service was ok but everything seemed a little disorganized.
We celebrated a birthday on Saturday. I’ve been here several times though never for brunch. The menu was ok. Their lunch menu during the week is wonderful. Many choices and the food seems to be hot and fresh. Our server Mehinda was wonderful and attentive. Thought the price was somewhat overrated for what was serviced.
Love this place. Food was delicious and service was attentive without being overly so. One of my favorite places to bring people.
Bar and restaurant staff was exceptionally friendly and knew what they were doing. If you like modern architecture, modern interior design and modern art The ART Hotel and Fire restaurant are for you. We will return next time in Denver.
Great interesting place with good food. Tried after seeing Monet at DAM. Service staff is just not well trained and likely spread too thin. Later lunch left us with lots of cluttered tables with past customer’s dishes. Waited inordinately for drinks and service. Food was good and presentation nice. Some of male staff not really well groomed with unkempt pants shoes etc and not meeting high end concept of the hotel and restaurant space. (No effort to do more than a single late “what do you want to order”?) Hostess professional and appropriate.
This place - in a hotel
On 4th floor - was well located near the Denver Art museum but the service and quality was very average to below average. The service was from a bunch of un-happy high school students and the food was right off the grocery store shelf..... need I say more? Good Luck.
The food needs to be improved. Manhattans are usually made without Benedictine.
It’s a beautiful space but pretty unimpressive in terms of food and service. I was expecting more from a place with such amazing aesthetics but it just felt below average.
The web site did not indicate that the only choice on weekends was brunch (essentially breakfast). I was able to substitute salmon for tuna in the sandwich; however the brioche bun is too soft, would be better with a baguette. Good service, and nice window table.
Although the food was very good, the service left much to be desired. Our waiter never checked back with us. We had to get up and get condiments from another table. We never had our water refilled or asked if we would like another drink. The young woman who brought our food to the table was very personable but merely delivered the food. We had to flag down another waiter to get our check and never saw our original waiter again after we placed our order. Although conveniently located, I will not go back.
