   We brought friends who were had never eaten there. Very disappointed! Two of three steaks came completely under cooked! Ordered medium and medium rare and came raw, still blue. By the time the steaks came back out, 2 people were done eating. Not enjoyable for two people to watch others eat and then those who were done had to watch the two who had steaks cooked more. Very surprised a manager never came over.

   The food here is quite good. However, many of the staff seem almost oblivious to customer service.its up or down.

   For the prices I expected the food to be a little better . Both of our salads had lots of brown mixed in didn’t look fresh. We both had the fillet which had very little flavor with them the sauce they brought. Our server spoke very low and soft which made it very difficult to hear anything he said. After seeing the price of the food I expected I guess food that match the price. drinks were served in plastic Cups and seemed very watered down.

   Fire was a nice place for a dinner. The bar area was loud with a private event. The restaurant wasn’t busy there were a few families eating. I felt like our servers was hyper and was distracted. Overall the food was good, my portion of grouper was much smaller than I expected, but it was cooked perfectly. They were also out of carrot cake witch was disappointed. I felt like by 9:00 pm the restaurant workers were ready to be closed and they were rushing us out.

   We had not been to Fire in about a year. What a surprise went we entered. The entire interior has been redone. Gone is the rustic wood feel. Interior is now upscale along with linen on the tables. Menu has also gone upscale. Cocktails were great Got to try a new rye whiskey that was excellent. Appetizer was Onion petals, fried with dipping sauce. The food was really good. Both of us had the ribeye steak., done rare. Baked potato with butter was great. Steaks were a good size so we had left overs. Even though prices have gone up, we will return.

   Fire has a new menu now. We were looking forward to have a light meal of blackened salmon salad or blackened chicken salad. Those lighter meals are now only available during lunch hours. Somewhat disappointed. We had blackened grill chicken and vegetables and dinner salad, which was very tasty. Our friends ordered 2 appetizers which they said they enjoyed. Very loud as well, not from live music just restaurant music which seemed to change levels during our visit from soft jazz to very loud jazz. Not our best visit here.

   Good food and atmosphere. A little skimpy on martinis. The glass was only half full.

    Salmon & mahi mahi were very good. Steaks disappointed us—good flavor but chewy, stringy. These snowbirds likely to dine elsewhere. One of our party wanted shrimp but no one in the restaurant could tell us where it came from. ( wanted to be sure it was domestic).
