   We loved dining here. Was a special tradition for us to dine there several times a year. Yesterday, after spending $200 on lunch, I became aware that my red wine carafe and glass was full of sediment at the bottom which was not noticeable until i was about 2/3 done. When I brought it to the attention of the waiter and the manager, both condescendingly explained how that happens with wine like I was stupid. It was obviously the end of the bottle and had not been decanted. They refused to remove the charge from our bill. Sadly to say, our classy favorite spot in Summit is classy more and we will not return.

   We’re sorry your recent visit didn’t meet expectations. When you brought the wine sediment to our attention, it was after you received the check and had finished the wine. We explained that sediment is natural, especially toward the end of a bottle, and had you told us earlier, we would have gladly replaced it. You confirmed you enjoyed the wine, so we felt it appropriate to keep the charge. We never intended to be dismissive, and we value the many times you’ve dined with us. We hope to welcome you back in the future.

   Excellent food! Support staff was pleasant and attentive, but waiter couldn’t have been less interested.

   Fiorino has become very popular since I first started going here about 12 years ago. we supported them during the pandemic with weekly take outs and outdoor dining in the freezing cold. But there is no interest in a relationship from the staff or management. Pastas are good, steak is a hit or miss (sometimes fatty chewy cuts), fish and chicken are decent. Wine has an astronomical mark up. Waiters are efficient but unfriendly. Has become a mediocre experience at top shelf prices.

    Our first visit at Fiorino’s and my wife and I were delighted. We dine out often and Fiorino’s ranks up with the best of them. The service was over the top outstanding and our meal was extremely good. If you like Fried Calamari you’ll love the Almond Crusted appetizer. No matter what you order you won’t be disappointed. So if you want a special night out, take your significant other to Fiorino’s in Summit. Caio for now!
