Fiorenzo Italian Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
The place is quite pretty. We were one of only two tables in the entire restaurant having dinner on a Saturday night which alarmed us. We ordered from the Magical Dining Menu and although I like to be very fair, the food here was just AWFUL! Service was good as our waiter did everything to try to make the experience better but between the smelly, over-lemoned seafood dish that my husband ordered, to my flavorless steak that came with one diver scallop that they split into two and it was just so fishy tasting (and I happen to love scallops) to the Gelato served at the end which had a ton of ice in it from not being very fresh. No need to worry, we will not be back as we had elevated expectations since this restaurant is in the Peaobody.
Outstanding! This was probably the best meal I've had at a restaurant, and I've been to a lot of restaurants! The wine was great and food delicious! Even my daughter's meal from the kids menu was outstanding! I'd make a trip back to Orlando just to eat here again! We went at 8 and there were only 2 other tables occupied which we couldn't believe. Next time we go we might try for an earlier dinner so we can also watch the ducks parade through the lobby. And note, the restaurant will validate for valet parking but not for the parking garage. The parking garage is $14, which I thought was a little steep for 90 minutes.
A group of us were here for the Zumba Convention. We also had out group dinner at the Capriccio Grill last year. I made a reservation online for a party of 10. We were seated promptly upon arrival at a lovely table. The service and food were excellent. We had a wonderful experience.

Food was superb, three happy diners including two very fussy eaters. But considering it is quiet an up market restaurant it felt very rushed, coffee was brought to the table at the same time as the Ice cream desserts, Waitress did not know what a french or Liquor coffee was and bought black coffee and a jug of cream as they had never done this before?
For a party of three, parents and 1 child the $200. bill was quite high. Our son's prime rib was way overdone and once returned the second steak was like shoe leather. I had the filet and it was very good. My husband had swordfish and it was wonderful. Overall it was beautiful but a little too expensive for the quality of meat and the quanity.
Food was excellent. I had the filet with carmelized onions and the rissoto side which was fantastic. Our entire party enjoyed the great meals and the dessert "shots" were the perfect ending to the meal. They were delicious and perfect size. So even if your full from dinner their is always room for a sampler size dessert. Acoustics were a little loud because of the open kitchen and tile floors but still a great meal.
NAPA and The Lobby bar serve non-alcohol drinks I ask for one when my group had dinner. The server said it could not be made at that bar So I excused myself from our table and walked to the Lobby Bar to get one, maybe all of your bars should be consistant. It was the only bad thing I could say about this place Thank you
We had eaten at Capriccio Grill before and thought the experience couldn't be better the server was very personable and attentive, we touted the steak as being the best we had ever had. Unfortunately, this time our experience was totally different. The server was absent most of the time, drinks left empty for too long. We ordered the appetizer of fried shrimp, calamari, etc., when we told the server there was no shrimp she said they cut three shrimp up into little pieces, we told her we knew the flavor of shrimp and there were none - she said we were wrong. The ceasar salad had too much lemon. The filet came out medium rare when ordered medium well. The sides were uneventful. Not a good experience.
My first experience dining here was 22 yrs. ago & was outstanding. This time, however, my husband's prime rib was ordered medium/well & was served rare & was not as tender as prime rib usually is. He ate it because sending it back would mean our eating at a separate time. Also, we should have been advised as to the very large portion of side vegetables because we ordered 3 and clearly was enough for an entire family. While the risotto was good, the rice was undercooked & too raw to enjoy. On a positive note, the soups were gourmet delectable & my chicken marsala tender & tasty.
My husband loved his steak and our waiter was outstandingly nice and recognized our anniversary with a great dessert. The atmosphere is uncomfortable. Hubby sat in a chair facing a large window where the cabs drive in/out past the window continuously. I sat across on a cushioned bench that made me feel really sunken into the table. No table cloth or booth was disappointing for an anticipated 'Capital Grille' or 'Ruths Chris' type experience we were expecting for the exclusive Peabody. We didn't want to leave the hotel for dinner so we chose Capriccios expecting an above average atmosphere and it really felt like a very high priced Ruby Tuesday. The chef's risotto was great. My veal picatta was so so, the sauce was watery and not scallopini
There were 7 people at our table 5 ordered streak all of them were cold even though the plate was hot. We sent 3 of them back. When I got mine it was still cold and one of the others was supposed to be med rare and it was obviously well done we did not want to complain any more so we said all was ok and just left I will say the staff was great and very accommodating and nice it was the kitchen that dropped the ball. By the way I did get 20% off the bill I was not wanting a discount but only to inform them so it does not happen to some one else.
Food was excellent, but the service was terrible. We were at our table for almost 15 minutes before our waitress took our drink order. Getting our check after we finished desert took almost as long.
The food was the victim of poor service. This was my 4th - and last meal here.
Capriccio's Grill at the Peabody has been a mainstay at the hotel for a while, but we had never made the time to go (typically frequenting the B-Line diner there instead). So we decided to go for our anniversary. The rich marble floors and tables, coupled with the tall columned ceilings add a refined element to this establishment, but it makes the acoustics terrible for carrying on a conversation. When the room fills up, it gets very loud, very quick. That was the only complaint I had. The service was impeccable, the wait staff was very attentive and even sent my steak back for additional cook time without me even asking. Overall, a good bet for going out with friends, but if you are looking for a quiet, more romantic spot, look elsewhere!
