Fiore Steakhouse - Harrah's Resort - Southern California Ratings and Reviews
Been here 3 times and have enjoyed it everytime! Kevin our waiter was great and the food was very good. The only disappointment for my hubby was he wanted Prime Rib like he had on one of our trips and they only serve it on Wine Wednesday's now.
I watch Wine Wednesday on KFOX all of the time. :)
One of our special places to go for a special occasion.
I would also like the wine list to include Moscato my favorite!

We were staying at Harrah's Rincon so, what the heck, let's celebrate a birthday at Fiore! We were not expecting anything great so we had no expectations when making the reservation. Overall, the food was excellent and artfully prepared. Our server took time with our order and made some excellent wine suggestions. The "limited" summer menu was no issue with us. The filet mignon I had was prepared as ordered and was tender and flavorful. A birthday dessert thrown in for free was a plus. Will probably eat here again the next time we are at Harrah's Rincon.
I was hopeful walking into Fiore because the décor and ambiance are nice. The food quality and the overall pricing do not match up. The restaurant is charging the same prices as some of the finest steakhouses yet the quality isn't up to par. The service was good and we were happy overall with our service. The food starting with the bread was good and a nice assortment. The calamari appetizer was over-thought and confused. It is a bizarre combination and the light flour was just ok and there wasn't very much on our plate. Our meals arrived cold, two out of three dinners. The meat we asked for medium rare on 3 steaks and one was rare. The sides are not special and need to be reinvented. If you are going to charge Ruth Chris prices, you have to up the quality of your food and create a better menu overall.
Revised menu reduces dinner selections. Oysters on the half-shell were excellent. Calimari appetizer lacked dipping sauce. Caesar salad romaine lettuce "crispets" were non-traditional and lacked dressing. Filet Migon (ordered medium rare vs medium/well), not juicy, Halibut was overcooked. The server was excellent but had to deliver a subpar dinner. The future requires improvement that will help in returning restaurant to prior years standards. Will return to Fiores, but only to the Oyster Bar.
Bring the old menu back! PLEASE! Don't care for this "Summer" new limited menu. Salads look like sushi rolls, dry and not very tasty. Miss the The Wedge salad! The shrimp cocktail terrible! Shrimp were small and overcooked. Crab cakes terrible and small portion, no more baked potatoes, limited selection on sides. No prime rib, only on Wednesday, why? I did like the halibut but the portion was sooo small. We left hungry. The portions are smaller, the prices are higher! Please change the menu and bring back more choices! We've been going to Fiore's Steakhouse for years and always looked forward to having a great meal! It's not a steakhouse anymore. We have been back twice since this new menu. Very sad to say we will not be going back unless the menu and prices change.
I have been to Fiore many times but I'm leaning toward not coming back. The food is not quite as good as it used to be while the prices have gone through the roof. Service is typically pretty good but every server seems to have a different take on how comps are applied (this restaurant is inside a casino) making it very frustrating when the overpriced check arrives.
The service and the food we selected were excellent. The steaks were tender, cooked perfectly, and seasoned just right. We generally eat at Fiore every time we visit Harrah's So Cal Resort in Rincon. We were disappointed in their new "compact" menu as many of our favorite selections were no longer offered. No French onion soup, no grilled asparagus side, no roasted chicken entree (only quail tortellini as a poultry choice), no baked potato option to name a few. The current name is Fiore Steak and Seafood Restaurant but other than the seafood raw bar that shares the same entrance, the only fish entree was halibut (no salmon). We witnessed no less than 6 other diners complaining about the menu. As I stated at the beginning, the food, service, and ambience were excellent but since some of our favorite items are no longer offered, we will think twice before dining here again.
WOW what a change. Have always liked this place. They have a new chef. they have shortened the menu. Who serves a shrimp cocktail cut up on the plate??The Hamachi appetizer was the most overpriced I have ever had. There could not be 1/2 oz of fish. You use to be able to get sides brussel sprouts , cream spinch etc. Now they are included in the meal but they only have basic items corn, zucchini etc and very small servings.. $60 for a strip not for me. Will not be returning. What a shame on ruining a good thing.
Although it's name implies Steakhouse, it is not. Steaks have no char. Taste like it's baked not grilled. No baked potato on menu only watery mashed potatoes that taste like instant. To make it worse they plop your steak on top of the potatoes so your potatoes become more like a sauce. Perhaps they do this as the serving plates are rather small so the have to pile it up. I was told they have a new menu that they are trying. I'd rather not be a guinea pig for their trials. Also the house salad looks like sushi not a salad. I don't think I was there on a bad night as I found out later they have had lots of negative feedback. Would not recommend. Too bad for Harrahs Rincon. Most steakhouse restaurants st Harrahs properties are great.
We have been going to Fiore's for years. We were staying at Harrah's for Labor day weekend, so I had booked dinner there for all 3 nights. We ate there Friday night, and I canceled the other 2 nights. They have changed the whole menu, portions are smaller, food is not as good, and prices are higher. I had filet mignion, it was ok, but I have to wonder if they are using some kind of meat tenderizer, because it really upset my stomach, spinach tasted totally like garlic, ceaser salad was small, shrimp cocktail use to be 3 jumbo shrimp, now it is just 3 large shrimp, sliced into thirds, my husband hated that. My husband had the halibut, which was pretty small, served on a tiny bed of brown mash potatoes. this dinner was so not worth $200.
Oysters served with a lemon foam ?? Not good
Ordered the bone in rib eye it was luck warm and not much flavor!
Limited choice of sides no bake potato and vegetable carrots or chef mix! No other choices !
Server friendly but after being told reservations were fully booked 40% of tables were empty.
The food was good, as usual. Not crazy about the limited menu that your place has for summer. Was not happy that items like extras were taken off the menu as well as limited one day for prime rib. I think your place needs to go back to a larger menu with more choices.
We have been eating at Fiore's for many years and their menu has changed during those years and still remained good. Our dinner Thursday evening was not good, the steak was salty and warm not hot and the only potato you could get was mashed and they were cold. When you can't get a baked potato or french fries at a steakhouse something is wrong! Unless they change their menu we will not be back!
Don't care for the new menu because now you can't get a baked potato, a wedge salad or Steak Diane, although there is a sauce that is similar to Diane sauce. Menu seems to have a lot fewer choices. Prime rib only available on Wednesday.....not good!! My male friends were very disappointed because we were there on Thursday night.
The filet mignon is very good, and everything is presented beautifully.
We have eaten here on many occasions and always had a great experience. They changed their menu and not for the better. Very pricey and the selection is limited.
Very disappointed with the hamachi small plate. Fish tasted old
As I stated before we always enjoyed eating here. But probably will not return
The service was great. Food was horrible. Our appetizer the calamari we only got 4 pieces for 18 dollars. My boyfriends steak we ordered medium and it came out well done and burnt on top we had to send it back. I ordered the vegetable risotto and it tasted like the cheese was spoiled. Our server kevin was great. Needless to say I will not return to this place or recommend it to a friend.
New summer menu was great. There are a few less options but the food was the great as usual. The new dinner salad was fabulous. Easy to share, you need to try it when you go.
Service was exceptional as always. Justin did a great job explaining the new menu and was always checking up on us to see how things were. I have never been disappointed at Fiore's.
Fiore's has been a favorite restaurant for many years. Unfortunately, the restaurant has undergone some changes - including a new limited menu. I ordered a lobster tail and received cut up pieces of lobster. Plus, I bit into several pieces of shell. My husband and I do not plan to return. Such a huge disappointment.
The house salad was small but very, very delicious. The dressing will be something I crave. The Cesar salad was likewise small but good. 1 bone in and 1 filet=really really tasty and the sauce options nice. Unfortunately the 2 side sizes are not comparable to the meat size, probably 2 tablespoons of spinach and 4 tablespoons of mashed potatoes; 4 asparagus spears & 4 tablespoons of mashed potatoes keys us wanting more to go with the meat. But, overall, a nice meal with excellrnt dervice and we will be back.
Making a reservation is difficult for if I call up a week before I could not get one. We have been dining at Feori and we love it there. In fact we have a ready made name hang on the wall when we are there. The operator who makes the reservation always turned me down and it was only my host who was able to do it for me this time. But even before my host could not get a reservation for us for he was always given a negative answer.
We sat down and ordered at 8:50, knowing how painfully long it takes to have food arrive. It took 10 min to even get our drinks. Food didn't get to our table until 10:05 and we only ordered two 12 oz filets (medium), asparagus, and mashed potatoes. It was only moderately busy.
The server, Danny, was awesome. He even came to check on us and said he was surprised we didn't have our dinner in front of us an hour later. He gave us a free $9 dessert, which was kind of him, but for the price, my girlfriend and I were highly disappointed.
The worst part is, the table next to us complained about how long everything took and got their meal comped, and during this time, I think my steak was sitting out because when it arrived at my table, it was barely even warm. Overall, it was a very disappointing dinner.
I am from Ohio and I waited since last year to go back to Fiori's. I should have waited longer because It was a disappointment. There were 4 in our party. All but three of us ordered filet and one ordered the strip steak. Everyone's steak came out cooked to order but my 12 oz filet that I ordered medium rare came out well done. As soon as they brought it to the table the waiter waited while I cut into it and he immediately saw and said it was well done. He said they thought it was going to be well done and he said the chef already put another one on for you. Here is the frustrating part. It took 30 minutes to get my filet. Everyone was completely done eating. They did bring out a shrimp cocktail for me while I waited but by the time my steak came all of the sides were ice cold. We had asparagus, baked potatoes and au gratin potatoes (which were not good) It was really a shame. My steak was cooked right the second time but by this time I only ate half of it and the rest went to waste. They did comp my steak. I had a nice dinner here last year but this year it just did not make the grade. I was especially disappointed since I was celebrating my 60th birthday and was hoping to have a wonderful time. On a side note, I also ordered dessert as I had no idea they were going to give me a complimentary birthday dessert. Why would you let your customer order dessert when you were bringing out a complimentary one.
