This is more than an exceptional restaurant; this is an experience. My sister and I were recommended to dine here and we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and fun while still being totally professional. We were made to feel so welcome that we felt like long time regular customers, even though we are tourists from Australia and they would know we'd be unlikely to return for a very long time. It was great to watch the bar staff mix the cocktails and interact with other customers as well as ourselves. The food was just amazing. We don't have big appetites, but wanted to try a number of menu options, so we asked if we could share dishes. The wait staff were happy to comply. He actually went above and beyond, making each dish's serve so special and each of our menu options from starter to dessert were sooooo tasty, we almost swooned with each mouthful's delight.

The food and drinks were all very good. Their Happy Hour is advertised and has good reviews everywhere. But when you go in during happy hour time, it seems they hide it unless you ask for the happy hour menu. Then when he brought us the HH menu, he was mocking us to the other waiters making us feel cheap for requesting it. We are not cheap! We spent over $150 at the bar for happy hour, then proceeded to the dinning room were we spent another couple of hundred bucks. It seemed rude to be made to feel cheap for just ordering discount drinks during happy hour, that they provide and advertised!

Our dinners, with the exception of the gnocchi, were mediocre, bland. Food was brought before we finished salads. Server failed to return timely and did not rectify any concerns. Disappointing overall.

I love this restaurant and all that work there. It’s the oldest Italian restaurant in the USA and the food is delicious. I love the fact our server has worked there for over 35 years. So if you are looking for a delightful restaurant with authentic Italian food this is it.
