Perfect evening. Amazing wine. Excellent 5 course. Superb service. Do yourself a favor. Enjoy.
My wife and I dined at Fiola’s on 16 February 2019 capping off Valentines week. We made a great choice and will definitely return in the very near future.
Service was impeccable! Ambience was beautiful and peaceful. Signature cocktails were creatively and beautifully presented. The sommelier was fantastic as her suggestions were perfect. My suckling pig entree was a bit too salty, however, The Amerena Cherry was the most gorgeous and delicious dessert that I’ve ever had! Just a wonderful dining experience with dear friends! Thank you.
The food was spectacular and inventive best restaurant I have been to in DC. The service was also exceptional. What I did not like was the room where we ate. It was not the main dining room. It was not attractive space. Looked like a closet turned into a place to sell more meals. The ambience was a disappointment. Ask not to be put in this space.
The ambiance is romantic. Nicely lit, quiet and elegant.
We ordered the 4 course selections. The grilled octopus was amazing. The lobster in the ravioli was just as large if not larger than the ravioli. That was a lovely surprise. The Wagyu beef was extremely tender. It practically melts in your mouth. We also had the Branzino with caviar which was also amazing. Tiramisu, for dessert was delicious.
Wallace, our server, was absolutely splendid. He remembered our food preferences and recommended the appropriate substitutions. His attention to detail is impeccable. He made sure we had a perfect dining experience.
Fiola gives diners perfect service, presentation and culinary execution. Bravi!
Way to go Fiola! You made our Valentine's meal spectacular. The service was impeccable from all of your staff and each course was a huge hit. It was truly a great experience and we can't wait to come back.
The only thing I would add is more speed between the courses.
One word only is needed. Perfection.
The food was very good. Anything you didn't know about the waiter explained without hesitation. If your on a budget don't go. If you don't really have much money, don't go. This is I think, very nice for special occasions. If you very little about Italian food, you should go to Carrabba's.
Great food and great service but the tables for two are really close that you feel like you're sitting at a common table and can participate in the next tables discussion. They provide extra touches with appetizer and desert which is nice.
Excellent experience. Food was outstanding. Servers were very attentive. Cost was very high. Diners should be prepared.
Outstanding. Very clear why they got a Michelin star. I'd been before but the kitchen is cooking extremely well right now. And it is black truffle season!
We love it!! Everything and everyone was fabulous!! Thank you!!
Fantastic service, food, & drink.
Food was very good but that’s to be expected from FT’s Michelin Star restaurant. My favorite was pasta dishes.
A bit pricey, but worth it
My husband had a great time as we were celebrating his birthday
Everything was exceptional.
We celebrated our 20th anniversary with a visit to Fiola, and it was nothing short of spectacular! From being greeted by name at the host stand and servers, to the extraordinary care and attentiveness in every course and preparation, our evening at Fiola was among the very finest we've ever enjoyed. Most notable were the attention of the staff. Even on a busy Saturday night, we felt as if we were the only patrons who mattered to them.
Oh, and the Bronzino? A culinary gift that was out of this world.
In a city filled with so many gastronomical choices, Fiola stands head and shoulders above the rest.
Amazing place, great food, but the service gets the highest score!
Excellent food and service. Perfect timing for bringing out each course, my water glass stayed full, bar had unique drinks inc alcohol-free drinks. We will definitely return.
My wife and I celebrated my birthday and we had an exceptional time. Wait staff was world class and the food was spectacular. I had the regional tasting menu along with the wine pairing and it was a luxurious dinner of five courses. My wife had the octopus, lobster ravioli and the branzino and she thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. Decor was warm and inviting. Our server went out of his way to have the chef sign my menu in honor of my birthday which was very thoughtful. The only slight drawback is that the bar is adjacent to the dining area and there were some loud customers enjoying their Friday happy hour. Perhaps it is a little quieter on the weekends. Will definitely be coming back here to celebrate future special events.
First of all, the food is magnificent. But the tables are very close together, the service very slow and the prices very high. If you have time for a leisurely lunch and want great, refined Italian food, this is the place. But the restaurant isn't the best choice for an efficient business lunch.
Amazing! My first Michelin star restaurant experience!
Wonderful service and delicious food!
great experience. Sommelier was great and wine tasting option made the meal even more enjoyable. We were treated very well with a glass of champagne compliment of the house because of our anniversary.
Wonderful staff and astounding food. Everything is impeccable.
Although we would have liked more options, all the choices on Fiola's restaurant week menu were good: gazpacho surrounding an island of quinoa, burrata with corn, arctic char with eggplant, steak. Desserts were also winners: a kind of deconstructed tiramisu and a dark chocolate and fruit confection. Our waiter couldn't have been more personable and helpful. If you're looking for a (very) high concept cocktail with a lot going on, drink the gin tonic fiore rosa (the aged negroni was also a big hit at the table). Restaurant week is a cheap date by Fiola's standards, but we got first-class treatment. That's why we'll be back for the regular menu.
I know Restaurant Week selections are few and the portions small, but this was bad. The portions were miniscule, the selections limited to two on the appetizer and dessert, and (altough this is not the fault of the restaurant) to make things worse their A/C was broken.
We visited during Restaurant Week and had a fabulous meal and experience. Great food and great service (and we have high standards for both). We'll be back.
Lovely setting, delicious food, wonderful service.
Wonderful experience. Very attentive staff. Excellent food.
Outstanding dinner during restaurant week. Chose gazpacho soup, beef tenderloin, and chocolate and cherry. All were delicious. Wine was excellent as well. Our server, Stanisla, was also terrific. Well done, Fiola!
Food was pretty tasty albeit tint portions, assuming due to Restaurant Week. I would go back for a regular dinner meal.
I had a great experience! The food was delicious and amazing service. They even remembered that I had visited their sister restaurant, Fiola Mare, and really treated us well.
Had a wonderful milestone birthday celebration! We were given a wonderful table even if there was a misunderstanding from party size from OpenTable, accommodated surprise visit from family during dessert, suggestions by staff were exceptional!
It is the best service I have experienced since Jean Louis in the late 80s. It was very good without a patronizing or officious air. The food was delicious and artful.
This restaurant is phenomenal. It is a foodies paradise.
My wife and I went to Fiola to celebrate her birthday, and we had an excellent time. The service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely incredible. I really cannot say enough about the dining experience overall. I would recommend Fiola to anyone. It truly is one of D.C.'s great restaurants.
