Fins Bistro Ratings and Reviews
I was pleasantly surprised with this place. I wanted to go to a good seafood restaurant, but didn't feel like fighting traffic to the Tacoma or Seattle waterfronts. Their menu was excellent with a few surprises, (like halibut cheeks, miso sablefish). Presentation and service was excellent and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!!!
First time trying Fin's for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the server. Much louder at dinner time especially if a play is scheduled next door. No reservation need for lunch, however, whereas one is always needed for dinner.
Relatives came for a visit and expressed a desire for seafood. We remembered our experience a few ago at Fins Bistro. It was the perfect choice. The beets salad was exquisite. My husband enjoyed crab bisque and the halibut. I had the seafood linguini supreme and enough for lunch the next day. She had crab cakes and he ate the swordfish. We shared the chef's special for dessert which was an apple tort. The relatives shared the chocolate flourless cake which looked and tasted like a chocolate truffle.
Recently took members of my family to the restaurant to try their brunch menu. The eggs benedict are design and I returned again to see if they were as good the second time around. If anything, even better. And their bloody mary was just the way I like them. The staff is always friendly and helpful, Definitely, someplace I would recommend. And the little outdoor patio is private and and serene,
Staff and management were friendly and welcoming. Our server was slow to get to us and didn't seem like he knew much about the menu or much about being a server. Food was fine. Not great. Had the baked halibut. Cream sauce was broken and fish was a little overdone. Maybe just an off night. Would try them again.
Our party of four had a wonderful dinner last Friday evening. The two couples were celebrating our wedding anniversaries (a total of 90 years of marriage between the four of us). Additionally, one of the woman was celebrating her 70th birthday.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The server knew just when to interject herself into our conversations to provide exemplary service.
A valuable evening spent at a restaurant of great value.
I had an early brunch with my daughter and had an excellent meal. My daughter requested something from the later lunch menu and the kitchen graciously accommodated her request.
The service was very friendly and the ambience was warm and comfortable. Parking is very limited.
Just got appetizers and drinks. It was really good. I got the bruschetta. The topenade was awesome, but they didn't toast the bread, which was weird. But not a deal breaker. The outdoor seating is really nice for people watching and seculsion. seclusion. There, I spelled it right.
My mom, son and I dined at Finn's Bistro for lunch. The way were greeted set the tone for the entire lunch. I don't know her name; however, she was not pleasant. She mumbled a few words and then a server took over. Would I recommend this restaurant? I don't know. I am not to gung-ho in going back.
Fins has been a favorite of ours for several years and we often bring friends or family for their first introduction to Fins. The food was amazing again on this visit. Our friends raved about it the entire evening. My husband always wants to try everything on the menu but can't stop himself from ordering the lamb. Sarah, our daughter's favorite part of Fins next to the clams, was great as well. We look forward to our next visit!
Visited here on our vacation to Snoqualmie. My husband and I were very dissapointed with the service. The waitress (Sarah) didn't seem to consider our table worth her time. There were about 6 tables there and there was no reason to ignore us. Fish was overcooked but we've had worse. Wouldn't recommend.
The food was wonderful as well as the service. The only drawback was nothing that was restaurant related - just a very loud group next to us that had a few too many and were so loud we could hardly hear ourselves talk. Up until they sat - we were having a wonderful quiet dinner with good conversation.
