What an absolute gem in the heart of downtown Issaquah. We had dinner there for my birthday and it was a gorgeous PNW spring day, so the option to sit outside on the front patio couldn't be beat. Also, the Tuesday night wine special was fantastic!
Small family reunion for Sunday brunch. Pleasant setting, excellent service. Food good but not exceptional, enjoyed waffles with fruit, eggs Benedict, BLT with avocado. Asked for crispy bacon but had to send it back for a second go around, also not drained.
Love everything about this restaurant!
We love Fins. The food is always amazing, the service is always first class and it is always spotlessly clean and comfortable.
Fantastic service and food was even better. Will be going back often.
We were seated right away when we got there, even though we were 10 minutes early for our reservation for Sunday brunch with our family of 5. Service was attentive, and prompt. Our meals (California Benedict, Eggs Benedict, waffle with fruit, and pancakes with eggs) all arrived to us hot from kitchen, and were delicious. Since it was pouring rain outside, restaurant wasn't crowded; so, we could have a conversation easily, and just enjoy our food and each other.
Another great meal and fantastic service. Thanks!
Always the best!
Excellent Ahi salad at lunch! A large enough portion for two meals!
Fins has quickly become my favorite place to go. Last weekend we had dinner and the weekend before just drinks and dessert at the bar. Good food, nice people, comfortable surrounding.
We ate here with family. There was no wait, food was delicious and service was awesome.
Wonderful brunch. I had steak & eggs, s/o had crab cake Benedict. We were both very satisfied
All our proteins were cooked to perfection. Service was warm & friendly & attentive. One tiny complaint was that our root vegetables were fairly undercooked - crunchy - but seasoned well. Still going back. 😊
Delicious food with a great service!
We absolutely love Fins Bistro!!
As usual, we are warmly greeted by the owner and shown to our table. The service is fast, attentive and friendly. Food is excellent. We like to go here for special occasions as well as a nice night out.
An unexceptional, everyday diner, we had the crab cake appetizer, miso black cod, trout and curry.
Love, love, love this place. The crab bisque is soooo rich and soooo good. Don't be afraid to try their steaks. The owners are the nicest people ever!
Nice ambiance with northwest flare. The brunch was delicious. The presentation of the food, as well as taste was superb. Very good service and all around very enjoyable.
Fins Bistro is the best restaurant in Issaquah, hands down.
The first time I ate here, I wanted to come back and try everything. My favorite is the seafood - the seared ahi, sablefish and salmon are all excellent. This is my kind of comfort food. The service is very friendly and accommodating.
We have had dinner here many times, this was the first for brunch and all of us enjoyed the choices we made.
Have been to Fins Bistro over the years several times and always had good food, good service and good ambience. This latest trip was to celebrate a birthday with friends who had never been, and all was very good. The only reason for an overall 4 star instead of a 5 was that it took a little long to get our food, and one person’s lamb was a little undercooked while another’s vegetables were not very hot. We didn’t send anything back as we were hungry and didn’t want to wait again. This may have been an off night, and still would highly recommend.
The food here is always great and the wait staff is helpful and personable. I eat here often with my mother.
Great food and Atmosphere very helpful in making selections given diet restrictions we have.
Beer served warm; server acts like she’s working at a NY diner—not entertaining, very abrupt and rude, zero smiles.
I LOVE Fins Bistro! The Macadamia Nut Encrusted Halibut it to die for! I am gluten intolerant and adore the Flourless Chocolate Cake (when I indulge in dessert). Fins Bistro is attached to the Village Theatre of Issaquah and what a great partnership. The best date in the area is dinner at Fins Bistro and then a show at the Village Theatre. In fact, you can have dessert at Fins at intermission! Service is always perfect and friendly. Bartender Danielle is a hoot. And owners Jenny & Zul are gracious and great customers like they are members of the family.
Excellent Macadamia halibut! Excellent service with friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Love Fins. Keep up the great work. Macadamia Halibut was amazing!
Cute little restaurant! The hostess was very pleasant and welcoming and we were seated right away. Our server was also very friendly. We ordered appetizers, soup, and our meals. Appetizer (calamari) was good. Took a bit longer for soup to come out. Clam Chowder and Crab Bisque were both really tasty! Our meals were slow to come. Took almost 45 minutes after we ordered. Thankfully we had the appetizer and soup. We had 1 seafood alfredo, which was good and had plenty of seafood, 1 halibut, which was also really good, and 2 NW trios (salmon, halibut cheek, & crab cake). One of the NW Trio looked and tasted great. The other was room temperature at best and looked thrown together. The bread for the table was soft and delicious. The serving sizes were good and we were too full for desert. The room filled up while we were there but never seemed loud. All staff were friendly and readily available for refills. I would recommend this restaurant to others and would come here again myself.
Always the perfect place.
Great food and atmosphere. We really enjoyed the seafood and especially the cioppino.
horrible service took 30 minutes to order
food cold
no recognition of a celebration
no wonder they offer groupons
I have dined at Fins for evening dinner several times and have never been disappointed. So I wanted to try lunch today. No disappointment here either. Very enjoyable lunch combo!
Everything was prepared perfectly and presented with care. Enjoyed my meal and dining experience very much.
This was our first experience at the restaurant and I was excited because it was the first time we chose a place based on an Open Table recommendation. I had the special of the day which was potato wrapped sea bass and my husband had the northwest trio. Both were amazing! Our server was friendly and upbeat and the overall attention everyone paid to us as diners really elevated our experience. My only criticism might be the overly dense creme brûlée but it was still very flavorful. We will definitely be back!
Fins is a real favorite of ours. We are season ticket holders to Village Theatre and always dine at Fins afterwards. The service is warm and friendly and the food is always very good. They offer creative cocktails with theme names corresponding to each featured play and offer "sippy cups" so you can enjoy your drink while watching.
Had a lovely lunch after touring the salmon runs....Food was pretty good. Some of the best oysters locally. The only criticism would be the espresso - needs to be top notch in this area! Will try it again some time.
Always a great experience - Food, drinks and atmosphere!
Friendly service, great food and accommodating with a special request.
