This is an excellent restaurant for any occaision and great food.
Great place with intimate feel and delicious food. Always happy to return!
The ambience was intimate and inviting. We loved the small cozy vibe.
My husband ordered the special "Ling Cod" and it was extremely bland w very little flavor.
I ordered the Trio and really enjoyed the halibut. The salmon and crab cake were so-so.
Service was acceptable although not horribly personable and felt a bit rushed.
Fins is great for good food and a well thought out wine list.
As soon as we walked in we were cheerfully greeted by our friendly host and continued to be throughout our visit. We came to celebrate a birthday and were very happy with our waiter, Spencer, who was not only considerate of our time together (we don't seen one another often enough) and attentive when we needed him. My friend had the Chicken Marsala which she enjoyed very much (broccolini could have been done a litte more tho she said, otherwise everything was perfect) and I had the trout which was superb. Thank you so much for making our visit so pleasant (my first time). We'll be back!
Excellent. We had a nice birthday lunch yesterday and the service, food and people were amazing. First class. Highly recommend.
Very nice staff. Very convenient for theatre going. We go frequently.
As always, FINS Bistro did not disappoint. We like going there before or after our Village Theatre performances.
Great place to eat, with good wine selection and always great food.
Need to improve the ventilation, that is probably the only complain, and we have been made aware on how difficult that can be, as the restaurant is part of the theatre.
We will keep coming to eat here, great flavors and very ample choices.
If we could only have the bouillabaisse always in the menu...
We love Fin's Bistro. The food is excellent and the owners are very welcoming. Service has always been very good. It's perfect before/after the theatre or at any time.
Our 5th time eating here and another outstanding experience! We brought a friend here for lunch after taking her to the Cougar Mountain Zoo and the service and cuisine was excellent!! Sat outside on the patio as it was a beautiful afternoon. The ladies had the crab cake sandwich which was superb and I had the chicken breast BLT which had the thickest chicken breast I’ve had ever!! Great food as always!
This is a gem in the Issaquah downtown neighborhood. Always enjoy the service, the ambiance and the food. Great place to have a bite then take a stroll or catch a show at the Village theater.
First time we had visited was Sunday evening to celebrate daughter’s birthday.
We ordered a host of appetizers and some entrées all to be served together so not a straightforward selection. Our fantastic server took it in her stride and made our 10 year old grandson feel very special.
Great wine list. Great food. Great evening.
Great place to eat before the show at the Village Theater. --- Our food came quick so we could make the show, but still hot and delicious. Great waiter--- Also, though I don't drink wine much my one glass was very nice accompaniment. ----- Give it a try! I will be back
We had a 7:30 reservation on a Sunday evening. The entrees were fantastic and we were enjoying our dinner and conversation to no end. At 8:30 we ordered desert and before it came the staff began emptying the dining room removing chairs and tables. By the time dessert arrived we were an island in an empty restaurant. There was no warning from our waitperson, just a look of “please hurry”. I know restaurants need to do regular cleaning but this really dampened our experience. It wasn’t even that late! Next time I suggest the waitperson inform the patrons of the timetable rather than make them feel unwelcome and diminish the experience. We would have really appreciated that type of communication.
Food was ok, too fancy for kids; definitely for older crowds.
Great find. Extensive menu and great atmosphere. Definitely will return!
Great restaurant for outdoor dining. Food was great with wide selection to choose from. Our food was creative. tasty with nice presentation. I would have it again, except so many other interesting entrees to choose. Waiter was also very good. He was pleasant, checking in on us, etc.
Great food and Service. We enjoyed our seafood dinner very much. It’s creative, not overpriced, nice ambiance and well located in Issaquah on Front Street.
Unremarkable food and menu. Had sturgeon. was overcooked to leather and served on top a haphazard bed of luke-warm jasmine rice and mangled brocoltini and topped with a sweet port mushroom sauce that was not a good choice , but it did help me choke the fish down. Also had crab bisque that looked (and tasted) more like pureed acorn squash. Too thick and no hint of crab or crab flavor.
We had reservations at 6:30 and when we were not ready to order by 6:50 (catching up on things with each other) we were brusquly informed by the waiter that the"kitchen closed at 8". We didn't order wine or alcohol and were treated more like an inconvience than a customer even though we ordered over$80 in food for 2.
The food prices are reasonable ...which helps me forgive how boring and uninspired it was to eat there.
Returning customer, the hosts are so friendly, making a real effort and making it feel so friendly and welcoming, food is divine. Will be back, again and again.
Fins has been my favorite restaurant in Issaquah ever since it opened. Love the people, love the food, love the ambiance.
Steak wasn’t done to rare. It was blue. They fixed quickly.
Such an amazing dinner. We decided to try Fin's after reading the reviews and we were not disappointed! Wonderful meal and service experience. Next time we are in the Seattle area we will return! What a find!
An old favorite from when I lived in Issaquah. Hadn't been for a few years and it was so awesome. We will not leave it so long between visits next time!
Fin's is one of our favorite go-to restaurants for wonderful seafood, in particular. We love to sit outside in the summer. The staff is super friendly and we can always count on a great meal. For special occasion, or just a Tuesday night, Fin's is perfect.
I treated my good friend to a birthday lunch at Finn’s. It was a first time for both of us. Our waiter was a wonderful young man. When he heard it was my friend’s birthday he let her chose a dessert and brought it with a candle. It was a total surprise. She chose the apple pie and we shared it. She had the chicken salad and I had the crab cake sandwich with a salad included. The food was excellent. We both will return to Finn’s.
Always a pleasant experience. Great menu, wonderful food. Owners are delightful.
Great outdoor seating for summer. Best seafood in Issaquah.
Hidden in plain sight, Fins Bistro is overshadowed by the Village Theater next door. At least it was for us as we'd never noticed the sign or tried the place. Enjoyed a wonderful smoked Salmon Penna pasta dinner. All the seafood choices at our table for 4 turned out splendid. Outdoor seating was slightly cramped and the beer might have been a few degrees cooler, but all in all, outstanding evening, great service with all the charms of dining on Front St in Issaquah. Will definitely be back to test other menu items.
My favorite menu item is the French onion soup. The northwest trio is good too (salmon, halibut and a crab cake). sides were bland white rice and disgusting Brussel sprouts. But the main entrees were good.
Excellent crab chowder and fish dishes xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Server was very personable
Out of town family and wanted to offer them a unique PNW experience
Sarah (with the “h”) is the best, request her tables; fantastic cuisine, wonderful ambiance for virtually any occasion.
Great food and service as usual.
Best place to dine before watching a show at the Village theatre- the added bonus was we had our wine and dessert pre-ordered and waiting for us at a table during intermission. We will definitely come back and do this again. Service was impeccable and the seafood cooked to perfection!
Nice ambiance and really cute place. A little pricey but the food is worth it. The service was goos too, quick and attentive. Will probably return in a future.
Fins has to be my favorite restaurant. Great menu. Well thought out wine list.
We were in the mood for seafood, and Fin's was perfect. The seafood Louie, and trout, were perfection! Our server was awesome, too!!
They were understaffed and it showed. Tough situation. I would try them once more.
