Fino Restorante on Wall Street in New York City's financial district is a fine dining establishment offering Italian cuisine. Signature appetizers include gamberi freddi, Carpaccio di manzo, prosciutto melone and a variety of additional starters. You can also choose pasta as a starter or an entre at Fino Ristorante. Popular pasta dishes include capellini frutti de mare, rigatoni amatricana, linguini al pesto and spaghetti carbonara.

Chicken dishes include pollo inferno and pollo valdostana and veal dishes include costoletta silvvana and vitello sette colli. Meat lovers will appreciate the bison tenderloin with bacon, broiled pork chops or New York prime cut sirloin steak. Desserts at Fino Ristorante include torta di fruta, torta di formaggio and gelati fatti mano.
Fino is a great spot for a business lunch near Wall Street. My co-worker and I wanted to treat ourselves one day and enjoyed a very relaxing lunch, with excellent service, in Fino's very beautiful dark wood dining room. I recommend the Arancini appetizer. Everything is fresh and delicious.
It was NY restaurant week so we took advantage of their menu. I had the potato croquette & my uncle had their green salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing as an appetizer, for entrees I had Lobster Ravioli and he had their lamb it ended up with their A marrero & Vanilla Cake which was delicious.
Four cheese ravioli and branzino with white wine sauce stood out
The service was wonderful. The sample appetizer was fantastic!
My mum was visiting and we wanted to go out and celebrate. Fino was fantastic. The staff were amazing, the food was delicious with large portions and the wine list is very good.
Highly recommend this great find
The food was amazing. I had the calamari and I loved it. The wine that was paired with dinner was amazing. The waiters were very friendly and attentive to me and my friends.
excellent!! Went for restaurant week but will go back.
great great great great great great great great great
Ambiance was pleasing. Food came quickly. All attendees really pleased with food presentation. Food tasted delicious. Waiter was helpful in explaining dish ingredients. Had to signal waiter over for water more than once. Had to signal waiter over for bill, though we were undisturbed during our conversation.
Good, quiet, place to celebrate a special occasion. May return next Restaurant Week.
Once again we went to Fino's for a Family Occasion. We were seated in the Wine Cellar. The ambience was fabulous. We had a reasonably priced wine, Amicone, which drank as a much more expensive wine. The soup special was Lobster Bisque with Shrimp and was outstanding. I had the Veal Quattro Sappori, with a side of cappelini Bolognese. The veal was tender and the Bolognese was fabulous and not the usual meat sauce you get in most places. My Wife had the Eggplant Parm special. Everything was tender and cooked just right.
You cant leave Fino's without at least sharing the Tiramisu. Theirs is the best in the city.
Pietro, thanks for another great evening. We missed you though.
I took the opportunity to visit for lunch during restaurant week. The waiter was short, dismissive and a bit rude. he told me and my co-worker to hurry up because its restaurant week and they were busy. this is not the dining experience that I wanted or expected . The food was ok, nothing spectacular
great great great
wonderful, great, peaceful, enjoyable as always
Great, personal service - lots of fine touches. Food is well done
Hit and miss. Pasta special was very good, veal with lemon not so good. Clams casino tasted old and fishy.
Excellent food and service. A "go to" place! Have been to Fino's for small and large events as well as for lunch & dinner - always excellent!
Very disappointing. I made a reservation and the restaurant was almost not going to accommodate me because they had a large group. What was the point of making a reservation.
The large open banquest type dinning room isn't ideal for a nice dinner.
The restaurant was way too noisy. Outside the restaurant smelled better than inside. There was a dingy smell in the air of the restaurant. Food was just okay compared to many other Italian restaurants I have been to. The bread that was served was stale so we did not eat it. There was a huge retirement party and birthday party going on that filled most of the restaurant. Usually restaurants have these special occasions in a separate area than the dining area. This was being held in the main dining area so it was very awkward to eat dinner in the middle of other people's parties. There was even a host upfront asking questions and entertaining the guests of the retirement party. I would have liked to sit somewhere separate. The waiters were very polite and came back to check on us.
Great find! Always wanted to dine here and thankfully with the Restaurant Week, my friend and I made a reservation for lunch! Amazing place. Great food and service. Please try the squid ink linguini with fruti de mare and the pork chop! the food was awesome. Will recommend to friends and will come back here again!
Good food and service, but not much ambiance and character.
It was a very nice, quiet location. Very nice for a quiet night out with a friend or two, or maybe a nice date. Service was great. Food was delicious, and prices were perfect. Surprisingly inexpensive for the area and quality of food. We has baked clams, calamari, Salmon and chicken alfredo - each as delicious as the next.
While the food and service were good, the ambience is poor. The place looks tired, and worn.
My husband and I booked a table for 12:45 PM, 8/4/15 couple days before. But when we came (on time) to the restaurant, we were offered two chars by bar. There was very noisy (big company staying by bar waiting for their table), smelly, and not suitable for us at all. After not very pleasant conversation, they offered us to come back in 15 min. We did, and I feel it was a mistake. They just 'created' an extra table, it was broken, it took time to fix it, but it was shaking all the time. No apologies, no 'sorry's, like it was normal in that restaurant ...
Food was OK, nothing special. The service was terrible - unpleasant waiters, bread basket looked like leftovers, long waiting time, used plates after appetizers were staying on the table until the end of lunch.
I do not thing we will ever again come back to the Fino.
Enjoyed a wonderful lunch with friends & it was restaurant week to boot. Staff was very attentive.
The hospitality of a traditional Italian dinning experience was not long forgotten as I have come to believe in the financial District. Starting with a pleasant introduction and followed by the a wonderful antipasto plate awakened everyone's appetite. I personally loved the Taglierini Neri Al Fruitti Di Mere (squid ink pasta) complimented by a three chocolate cake finish took away of the stress of the workday and made for a unforgettable meal. Buon Appetito!
We went for lunch during the restaurant week and I do not think we will go back again. The food is just OK, more like a diner quality
The food was wonderful. Our waiter was not only a doll, but very accommodating with all our requests. For all that we ate the price was so very responsible. This is a restaurant I would visit again and again.
During NYC Restaurant Week, I try to go to at least two new restaurants. This year Fino Ristorante was one of the choices. It's always great to share a fabulous meal with fiends and the ambiance at Fino's enhanced that experience. The service was friendly and prompt and the portions were hearty. I look forward to returning and would definitely steer others to this destination.
Really wanted to like this place but severely under-performed and somewhat pricey for the level of service and food quality, once you stray from the Restaurant Week Menu-
For starters, and maybe because it was a slow night for the kitchen, the Mozzarella en Carrozza was fried in the "fish fryer" and it tasted as such;
One of my guests and I both had the Squid-Ink Linguini seafood dish and it was actually okay (but why the $5 surcharge?);
That same guest and I also had two glasses of wine each (Cabernet) and found that they were running at $15 per, so the upshot is:
An average Italian meal during Restaurant Week, at an outdated restaurant where the servers were Eastern Europeans pretending to be Italian, who essentially ignored us unti lit was time to collect the check, suddenly, once u add a couple of espressos and tip, ran around $100 per head
- It's NYC and you could do a lot better for a $100 Italian meal
Great little restaurant. Fish we had was great service was impeccable
The food and service is always outstanding. We had a fantastic lunch - ultra fresh tuna specials (both delicious) and the pasta is perfect. Very good wines by the glass. Too often today, restaurants are inconsistant - good one day not so good the next. Fino is always dependable. More than that, always excellent.
After a really great lunch about 2 weeks ago we went back for dinner and were very happy with fino
really nice staff and perfect service
food was great
I will be back
Everything was great - food, service, white table closes.
Only one 'minus' - two flights down, the restaurant is in the basement, but it's not changeable...
If you don't have problem with you knees, it's the best choice in downtown.
Once again the Fino's hits it out of the park. Superb wine selection! Excellent service and the Braciole Special was to die for. Should make it a Menu staple.
Thanks again for a great experience.
I have been wanting to go here for a while and finally did and it was worth it. The food is fantastic, the ambiance is good and the service is wonderful!!
One of my favorite places to eat during lunch downtown. I have never ordered anything I didn't like. The owner Peter is great. Talks to all the guests, making sure everything is fine and that the food is excellent. The whole staff is friendly, fast and accomodating to your every need. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occassion!
This my Uncle & I third visit here that we thoroughly enjoyed during Restaurant Week with complimentary appetizers to start. We still had appetizers, entrees,& dessert all part of the special. We highly recommend their Lobster Ravioli & Fried Pork Chops. Both entrees were delicious & the pork chops were lightly fried but not greasy. The staff made our stay very comfortable that we will definitely come back. 🙌😊👍
First time dining at Fino for me last night. Gets a bit confusing with the address but once there I was blown away by the quality of the food and service. Was meeting a client for a quiet dinner and this place was spot on. If you're looking for glitzy decor and a bar scene this isn't your spot. If you're looking for an unrushed, relaxing meal that is one of the best you'll have in the city this is your spot.
Went early on a Friday night before a show, so not crowded. Excellent service and very good food. Would definitely return.
I enjoyed the food. The place was a empty probably because it was snowy out.
