Kelly was awesome - we had a great time
Plenty of seating was available. We didn’t need a reservation. Menu had a few elections, but everything was over priced. Wait staff walked around looking for things to do and when you would leave. That was a bit uncomfortable. Food tasted good, but wasn’t worth the value.

Loved the food and the service. However, the price for a beer is OUTRAGEOUS! Prices far too high. Otherwise, wonderful experience.

Came here after a paint nite that was being held in a private room in the restaurant. Food was great, service was okay. Restaurant was empty, we were one of two tables there. Bar needs improvement. They didn’t have a lot of ingredients for drinks we asked for. Only reason I would come back is for the food.
My wife’s birthday dinner. Service was excellent, Food was very good, meats cooked to order, however purple mashed potatoes were unappealing. The overall meal was good.
I come here often and it’s always a great place for after work cocktails that also serve great food. Whether if you’re by yourself or with a group, the hostess and bartenders are always willing to give you the best experience.

We waited 45 minutes for our food after we ordered, but it still was not ready so we left because we had to get back to work.
The waitress is very seasoned and professional, much better and casual than DGBG faux french-wannabe, such a relief from the weird Flavorless artichoke purée. Typical American bar food and comfort food. It's inside the hotel and dark looking like it was closed from outside dark window panes, and was not as crowded by 930-945pm. I arrived one hour earlier than reservation and waitress and hostess were accommodating my disabilities. The entry door is narrow not quite ADA Code 36"+ however it's typical of older dc hotels and restaurants. I just wanted some comfort food so we had calamari, lightly battered deep fried golden and not over cooked as other places I've been. I didn't have the best experience here last time however this time it was a relief from the previous pretentious kitchen. We went to the Dabney but I couldn't find them to make reservation and they're usually very booked, so had a cocktail, then headed to fig&olive one of my faves hh til 6-7pm, then DGBG flop, and final fourth course here before we took our Book fest bags home in the drizzling rain. Thanks for being very accommodating and understanding. And non intrusive. No one was in the dark dining room so we sat behind the bar area. They need to lighten up the place a lil bit to cheer it up. It didn't help that it drizzled few hours after the book fest at convention center. At least we could relax in the leather and wooden booth before dragging ourselves home.
Great service and the food was very good. HAPPY ! will go again very likely !
Excellent food and service. Booths are comfortable and tables are spaced far enough apart to allow private conversations.
This hotel restaurant is central to downtown DC. It has great service and good food served without delay. A good environment for talking business or catching up with friends.
It was a nice place to visit my nephew and his family who I haven't seen since he was 12 years old and now he is 43... we had a very long dinner and great conversation. easy to get to and I got parking on the roads...
They were extremely accommodating to our large group and rolled with flow as our 2 reservations of 6 turned into one group of 15. We ended up being the noisy ones late into the evening.
My server was great and other servers helped when she was busy. Great experience. Yum salmon and mashed potatoes. Thank you.
Generally good, almost empty, and thus chilly, restaurant. Chosen for the 1k dining bonus and location. Only complaint was underdone sea bass. Service good and personable, drinks good, prices fair.
Quick efficient service, great menu, reasonably priced.
We arrived 5 minutes prior to our reservation and were to be seated almost instantly. Then the server for the area we were to be seated in approached the hostess stating she could not take another table. We were led back to the hostess station and told we'd have to wait as there was no other table for us. After waiting nearly 20 minutes past our reservation time, we were finally seated.
Fortunately that is where the bad experience ended! The service we received from our waitress was extraordinary. She was very attentive to the 3 hangry children in our party and got our order in quickly and accurately despite not writing a single order down!!! We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food.

Received wrong order. Ended up paying for a $35 steak dinner instead of. $18 Steak Pizza.
The restaurant was completely unprepared for the number of people that showed up when they opened even though the event in the city was well publicized and had several hundred thousand people in attendance. The food was fine, nothing special, but very overpriced. Our waitress was overwhelmed and we felt that.
This location is a hotel restaurant. Decent food though!

Just a boring and uncreative hotel restarurant. Food was fine -nothing to return for-, but the decor and settings are boring, outdated, unremarkable.
Our meal was delicious and the service was good. I had the BBQ Chicken and my husband had Fish and Chips. The waitress was familiar with the beer list and was able to offer suggestions when we asked.
They did not acknowledge our birthday Celebration.
Good restaurant located inside of the Hilton: if you want quiet, no tourists, and decent food with little wait...this is the location.
Menu is unimaginative. Very ordinary. I only ate there because it was conveniently located at my hotel. Will not revisit.
This is a restaurant that is part of hotel and sorry don't remember the hotel chain but it was probably a 3 star hotel. The menu is basic bar type food but what we had was very good!! The calamari, wings & jambalaya & my snobby husband even enjoyed it! Waitress was very friendly!
Early working dinner waiting for the traffic to disperse. Dining room was fairly empty but still reasonable atmosphere. menu small but varied.
I had the beet salad with chicken, it was very very good. But everyone else in our group of 5 was let down by their meals. Both the burger and chicken sandwich were poorly received. We did order the flight of fries appetizer and calamari. Fries were unanimously enjoyed but calamari was not fried long enough and the batter was not completely cooked. Wet calamari=eww.
Went for Happy hour, drink selection was fair. No food offerings for HH, but you can order from the menu for American staples. Hotel bar scene at best, good in a pinch. Nice staff, but didn't come by frequently enough.

Finn & Porter cancelled our reservation just a few hours before because they had a private event at the restaurant. This was a huge inconvenience. We will never be coming back here.
Simply wanted a steak salad and still don't understand what went wrong. People generally anticipate getting a cut of steak with a salad, like you would with any other protein. The server asked five times how I wanted the steak and I said I want a piece of steak cooked medium rare. The salad came out with chunks of well done steak. Inconvenienced at this point and asked to speak with a manager. The chef came out, don't know why since he's not the manager, and apologized for the miscommunication. Why would I be charged for this salad and unpleasant experience? Won't be coming back.
