Finch & Fork is a Modern American Bar and Grill centrally located on the corner of Carrillo and Chapala streets in the heart of Santa Barbara’s vibrant downtown. Executive Chef Peter Cham draws inspiration from the vibrant local ingredients sourced from farmers and ranchers to craft an ingredient driven menu of delectable social plates and soul satisfying larger plates. The cuisine is meant to be served with artisanal wines, craft cocktails, and great beers in the relaxed atmosphere of our bar, lounge, and dining room.

We love this restaurant, they also have a vegan option for our son. Food is nicely prepared and service is wonderful.

Excellent food and service. Our server allowed us to taste several wines, before asking their sommelier for a final recommendation. We did not feel rushed or that we were taking too much of his time. I had braised lamb on a bed of polenta with roasted carrots. It was excellent, as was the mushroom soup, the duck and the gnocchi.

Cocktails at the bar was great fun and as were their cocktail recommendations from our Bartender. It was Tuesday night and the special on Tuesday night is Fried Chicken and mashed potatoes. Delicious!

We've always enjoyed our meals here, and on this visit they were able to nicely accommodate our requests for vegan fare. Their new (to us) Sweet Potato Baba Ganoush dish is great. Our server personalized our visit and made it even more enjoyable. They even arranged a light show (the fire alarm went off - false alarm).

Highly-recommended restaurant. Something for everyone.

I was disappointed with the Pork Belly Eggs Benedict. The meat was dry and there was too little of it. The potato's were oily. However, the vegan meal specially prepared for my wife was delicious she said and my guests enjoyed their meal. Service was quick for a large Sunday brunch crowd and staff was friendly. A birthday party for a large group seated in the middle of the room created excessive noise. But I will try it again with a different meal choice.

We had a table in the center of the restaurant. The restaurant is large with very high ceilings which makes for a very high noise level. The food was delicious and our server was very nice, she seemed very busy and our salad was never delivered. She didn’t hesitate to take it off the bill.

The food and service was wonderful. We surprised our family with big news and the staff helped us celebrate with a special hand drawing and congratulatory gift - it was totally improved and so cute. Made a special brunch even more special. Thank you!

Everything was fantastic except for the fact that we came in the door closest to the valet. We stood there an waited at least 10 minutes with many staff walking past us. I finally went into the dining room and asked a waiter when the hostess would be back. He hurriedly told me I had to go to the other door. When I went to the hostess station I could see that where we were originally standing was very obvious to the bartender, the waiters and the hostess yet no one managed us. It was a missed opportunity to take the service level from very good to over the top.

P.S. Our waiter, sorry - can't remember his name, he was tall with a scar on his lip? He was truly fantastic and really made it a special experience.

The ambience was warm, cozy, clubby.
A nice selection of choices
The wait person had been there for years
The recommendations were all over the place...
Basically everything was recommended
As a meat eater I asked for our servers suggestion which in turn was the Pork Chop. The Chop was cooked good .. not dry but it was smothered in a sauce of “something” that resembled melted pimento cheese and was overwhelming in its presentation.
My family ordered salad and soup and also salmon. They were all happy with their meals. S’Mores (in a dish) for desert were pretty fun.
All in all a nice meal. The ambience made it worth the $.
My biggest regret... was Valet Parking.
My Aunt was with us for this Birthday Celebration and her health condition requires her to be on Oxygen. Since it was raining and she can’t walk very far we valet parked for dinner. Upon return of our car we were told the valet fee for our less than 2 hour dinner was $23! I was expecting $10-12. I guess I should have dropped off my Aunt and left her there while I went across the street to park in the Municipal Lot..
$23 .. a bit Over the top!

Went there for a brunch on Sunday. We ordered scrambled eggs and ham for our 2 y/o son for $8. The plate looked rather sad... just scrambled eggs (not very good) and a large piece of ham. Some fruit on the plate would have liven it up a lot. We were worried about our food, but then I tasted the ham, and realized it was a good quality ham. My food (pork belly eggs benedict) arrived and I was happy with my food. Delicious! I gave my wife half of my food, and she was happy with it as well. My wife ordered fried chicken sandwich. It was huge. She said she was not hungry after eating half of my food and will give me the sandwich after one bite. After one bite, she just kept eating and eating. I have never seen her eat that much before. She gave me about a half of remaining sandwich... and I understood. It was the best fried chicken sandwich ever. Good quality chicken, deep fried with crispy coating, perfectly balanced with pickles, cole slaw and honey dijion. I live in L.A. and even as I am writing this, I want to drive 2 hours just for that sandwich. Oh, service was great too.

Loved the cocktails and the wine was pretty tasty. I really loved my entree, but my guest's pasta was, while tasty, not excellent. May just be that butternut squash, arugula, and penne is so frequently the vegetarian pasta of choice at restaurants these days. I liked but didn't love the indoor seating. With such high ceilings and tile floors, there's just a lot of reverb from other guests that makes intimate conversation and romance a challenge. Outdoor looked much better, with tables arranged next to fires, etc, but was too chilly to consider the night we were there.

For our Thursday early evening reservation, everything from our host seating us to the service was excellent (very attentive and aim to please). Our meals were fabulous (meat, veggie choices, and an order from the daily special - Cioppino). Yes, we will be coming back again.

First time to Fitch & Fork and we loved it all. Food was outstanding as was the service. Prices are on par with being a classy hotel restaurant. The menu was pretty diverse from seafood to steak to pork to chicken. I had the pork chop which was amazing - juicy and not dry while well cooked. Will definitely eat here again next time we’re in SB.

What was there not to love about this place?! Everything was amazing; especially the food. Dani Morales is a wonderful addition to the staff, and I'm grateful for her invitation to dine in before I move away next week!

The service was quick and friendly. The server was very approachable and knowledgable about the menu, drinks included. The food was also delicious, I didn't see a bad looking plate while there. Would love to go there again and would def. recommend to others who want a nice dining experience.

Brunch on a Sunday was quite good and a quick nod to the service team that was excellent in particular Kylie. Will return. House cured salmon was quite good as well as the pork belly, deviled eggs

Served stale bread and menu was very limited to just salads and sandwiches. For the price, you could probably get better quality and more for your money elsewhere. Don’t go here for lunch.
