We were promptly seated, however had to wait almost 15 minutes for our waitress. Food was fantastic! Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely be dining here again!
We love this restaurant. The food is consistently excellent, & the service is exceptional. The staff is warm, friendly & efficient! We have brought several out of town visitors & many local friends.

This is the third time in a row i have been there and my steak was over cooked, its a nice place but the service is so slow and when your done it takes forever to pay and get out
We have dined @ Final Cut multiple times, and this was definitely the worst service we have ever gotten. They were extremely busy, and it appeared short on staff. We sat for over 15 minutes without seeing any wait staff, and finally got drinks when I was able to flag down a manager. The food wasn't bad, but it just wasn't as good as usual. We will definitely go back, as we have not always had this experience here. I expect (and have typically received) more from a restaurant at this price point. We will give them another shot soon, and hopefully have the typical great experience.
Service was good, but slow. After ordering entree, it took at least 20 minutes to get our salad. It also took a while to get drinks. Wine list great. I had an Australian chardonnnay. VERY GOOD! Steaks great. Overall good experience

We have been dining at the Final Cut for a number of years now. In particular, we have made it our go to place for our Valentine's outing. This was our first disappointment. The service was poor on this occasion. We decided to share the onion rings for a side dish and they were not cooked to a nice golden crisp, but worse they were not even warm. By the time our waitress came back by to ask about our dinner, we were no longer interested in getting new ones. She did see that they were taken off our bill, but overall the service was very slow and below the standard for such a fine steakhouse. We did both enjoy the main entree.

This was the second time we had dined at The Final Cut Steakhouse. The first time we went, it was really good.
This time however, not so much. Valentine's Day, set menu with only a few choices of a 4 course meal.
I ordered the 26oz strip medium rare. It came out medium-medium well. I sent it back. I can't remember the last time I did that.
The replacement steak was rare. I thought, "well I can eat it." Not only rare, I think the steak I got was one of those steaks that the cook sets off to the side for people that send theirs back. It was very tough and had a lot of fat. The well done steak I got at first was much better, even overdone.
Very disappointing,especially at $75 per.
On the positive, Savanna, our server, was awesome! She was our server both times and does a great job!
The dining room is very elegant.
All these things said, we probably will be return. I would rather go to some place like Jess and Jim's Steakhouse in Martin City MO. It is just as good at 60 percent of the price.
We so enjoyed ourselves. The Chef, waitress Amy treated us well. This is the second time celebrating our anniversary. We thank you for our 18th one.
The food was amazing. I had the 14oz KC Strip it had only a very very small amount of fat, was cooked to perfection and tasted wonderful.
Always enjoy our date nights at Final Cut. They aim to please!

Very disappointed. We do not get out much and I wanted something special to celebrate the publishing of my Wife's new book and more importantly time alone to spend with her to talk etc. Put in a reservation, stating "Date night" believing we would be placed somewhere cozy, possibly a booth etc. We were placed in the aisle next to a window looking at a blank wall. Lot of activity up and down the aisle and very busy and noisy. The experience was not good, had to talk loud to hear each other and repeat ourselves because of the noise and commotion. People across from us were very loud and and obnoxious, un desirable language, a little drunk I believe. Asked for more bread for our salads when they finally arrived, said would be right back with more bread and never showed. Salad with no bread, our fault I guess, we ate what they brought us before our salads arrive. Food was good, Beautiful establishment, just wish there would of been a little more attention paid to what the occasion was. Did ask for another location but seem to fall on deaf ears. Could of been a very good experience if seated in another location.
My daughter and I went on an exquisite dinner date and due to some sort of busy week in KC my first 5 Top 5 star choices were booked.. Settled in Final Cut as my last alternative to make it a special event.
Boy did they come through. The Final cut is now in my top 5 list of 5 star eateries. From the decor to the service to the meal to the atmosphere it was all made to order. Kicked off a wonderful experience for my daughter and I.
Ordered med 10oz filet... was over cooked , everything else was great !
This is the third time I have eaten at Final Cut and I am always very pleased with the whole experience. Wonderful staff, great food and comfortable and pleasing surroundings. It is my favorite spot for a special dinner.

I do not make a habit of leaving reviews, I do not have the patience or the time to write one, however I will this time. First let me be honest, there is both good and bad in this review. I must complement where it is due. I was in town for business, and hotel was only a mile away and I was in the mood for a steak. I made reservations and was promptly seated. Was served Portuguese bread with honey butter before and during meal, which was really good by the way. I ordered the 10 oz filet along with a house salad and parmesan steak fries. What can you say about a salad, just a salad but the ranch dressing was really good. The fries were some of best stesk fries I have had. They had parmesan and some truffle oil?, (at least I think that is what waitress said), sprinkled on top. There was a pretty nice sized portion of them as well. Here is where review goes down hill. Ordered steak medium. Steak came out between medium well and almost well done. Politely sent it back, on the second go around steak was sent out medium rare. Third times a charm, right?. After waiting about 10 minites, steak FINALLY came out medium, by this time my business associate was finished eating and waiting on me. However, steak did have a good beefy flavor. And restaurant took care of the bill for the steak, so I only ended up paying for the steak fries and tea. The food was good but for some reason chef must have had a bad day and not on his game. Not the worst experience but not the best either. For a $39 steak, I expect better. Will I recommend, not sure, may have to give it one more try in the future to see if it was a fluke or every dsy occurance.
The service was Awesome! The food was unbelievably delicious and we continue to come back. We most enjoy the porter house, spinach salad, calamari (like you've never tasted before) and the bread served with honey butter! All Devine!

Great food, with great service and very comfortable setting. Was able to make reservations on a very short notice. Had never eaten there before so didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Will be back to try more of the menu. Thanks for a good visit.
The worst dining experience of my life. We were there over 2 hours. We arrived with a reservation and had to wait 30 minutes. We say at the bar for 15 minutes before we got a drink. The restaurant was mostly empty yet it took forever for us to get our food. I will never be back.
The surf and turf were both excellant, we have ate here many times and are only complaint is how long you have to wait for your food.
They forgot part of our order, the steak was overcooked and the quality of food was poor.
Very disappointing. The steaks were good but the sides were hardly memorable.
The place was empty, so my husband and I had the bar to ourselves prior to dinner. That was nice.
Our wait staff was great. We had a booth that overlooked some sort of concrete patio.
Will not be returning for the food. Maybe for a drink at the bar.
Wednesday and Thursday night steak special are the best!
While the steak was delicious, our service was horrendous. We had a reservation and still waited 10 minutes post reservation time to be seated in a restaurant that was only partially full. Our drink order took 30 minutes to receive (after asking about it twice), despite other tables being seated after us receiving timely service. The excuse was that the bar was “slammed”. We had clear view of the bar while waiting to be seated, and it was anything but slammed. The waitress simply did not place our orders timely. By the time we received our food, it had been sitting under the warmer so long the plates were burning hot and the steak fries very unfresh. I expect much higher quality service when dining at an expensive restaurant. Steak was about the only pleasant part of the experience. We will not be back.
The food was delicious and the server did recommend a wonderful wine when mine wasn't in stock but I didn't feel it was worth the $125.00 we spent.
Love this steak house! We eat here for every special occasion, bday, anniversary, and for a much needed date night! Best steaks around!!
Best ribeye I've ever had. Everything is all a cart in the sides are huge. Took enough food home for another meal. Service was excellent courteous not overbearing I would recommend this and we'll be going back
The restaurant is fine but it tries to be more than what it is. The prices are overinflated to make it seem the restaurant has something special to offer, which it doesn't.
The two steak dinners we ordered were very good, the one sea bass dinner was very salty.
The service was mediocre except for the host.
The drinks are overpriced just to make certain that the casino doesn't give too much away with the comps. Overly high priced meal + average service + high priced drinks = a feeling that the casino wants to get all your money:)
We’ve always had a great experience here but this time the food was disappointing. The Caesar salad was wilted and had to be sent back. The lobster had no taste and was the consistency of rubber so I couldn’t eat it. Steak was wonderful. Entrees are expensive so the meals need to be perfectly presented. I don’t recommend you eat here unless your meals are comped by the casino.
This was our first time here because it is very expensive. I saw wine for $300 a bottle. Anyway We had comps so it covered everything but it was the 24.95 price for a kc strip so I figured 50 for dinner which was covered since I had 90 in comps. Only extras gotten was shrimp coctail and he got asparagus with his meal. Thank God I had 90 in comps because bill was 86. It was an experience but next time I'll wait till Sun night when I get a steak for 20 in Marquis cafe.

This was an awesome experience, staff is probably the most friendly people. The food was excellent as it has been every time we have dined there.
I've been to Final Cut several times before and always enjoyed the experience. The last time was very different. Service was less than attentive - it was absent. When they showed up, they were also absent minded. They do not know the difference between a medium steak and well done. Their idea of surf and turf is drowning a steak in sauces. On the bright side, they have a good wine list and it is still the best place to eat at the casino, but not worth going unless you intend to gamble.
