Final Cut Steakhouse - Hollywood Casino Joliet Ratings and Reviews
Everything was good
The host acknowledged my daughters birthday but he did not tell the server
Every steakhouse or high end restaurant that we have gone for an occasion would bring out something special
That was my only complaint
Thanks so much to final cut for helping us celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary.
Everything was top notch Sunday night. From the moment we walked in. Freddy greeted us kindly and got seated immediately. Shelly our server was awesome and very helpful assisting us in a bottle of wine.
The bone in ribeye was excellent as well as the garlic shrimp we had as our side.
Look forward to our next visit to final cut.
The food was outstanding, it's always amazing. The service was alright, not great. Our waitress was a little more attentive to the elderly couple near us. Perhaps they demanded attention. We are very laid back people, we wear jeans, we are young-ish. Maybe she was going for the big fish. Except you forget, seniors are usually on fixed incomes, and historically speaking tip only fair. Had she showed us the same level of attention our tip would have reflected it. You don't drop food off and then never check back in, until you ask for dessert or coffee orders. Again, she wasn't rude, just not very attentive.
That being said, LOVE the food. Tolerate the service
One of the worst meals at a steakhouse my friends and I have ever had: coffee warm not hot, butter on table not even enough for one person with the bread brought to the table, (the French bread was old), prime rib tough and not even on bone - full of fat - didn't even look like prime rib, potato baked earlier, not freshly baked, glass of water had an almost "toilet" smell to it, and service mediocre.
Will not return to this restaurant.
