Overall, a great dining experience
Great service the wait staff was awesome very active and in keeping me in my wife happy we mention it was our 4 year anniversary and a waiter was nice enough to give us a cheesecake on him The food was great I had the 24 else sirloin steak and the how the peano Al gratin potatoes and the wife had the crab cake and the New York strip medium well everything was great we will definitely be back in the future
Food is always exceptional. Our waiter was a bit off, seemed very out of it.
We went for my husband's 50th birthday I ordered the scallops that were not cooked all the way. Very disappointing
Service great. Seals special. Salads and home style vegs perfect. Only negative was that calamari was too greasy/oily
Worst dining expirience several issues didn’t even get to eat! My favorite part was when the busser asked if he could take our appetizer plate I responded with a friendly “sure!” He asked another question to which I also responded with “Sure” he then informed me I had used his least favorite word twice!? The place was pretty empty and now I know why. Open table is wonderful! Final cut..never again!
Food was average, not worth the money we spent this time. I’ve been here before and it was excellent. This time was not worth it. We each ordered a filet and a side, 4 of us total. Creamed corn was cold, lobster on our steaks tasted like it was from a can, asparagus was mushy and the truffle Mac was overwhelmingly truffle flavored. Our server was good, no complaints there! I probably won’t be back. Not worth an $80 meal. 😔
Ask for steak well done. Charged. Not great. Onion soup had hardly any onion.
My husband and I chose The Final Cut for a special date night. It exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
Hostess was very friendly. Waiter came over and took our drink, appetizers, and entree orders and gave us some waters. The manager came over after 15 minutes and asked if everything was ok. We just had waters only and said yes. After 25 minutes, however, we got up to leave. The waiter came over as we were leaving with one of our drinks only. He said he was looking for the bottle and that's what took so long. He offered to ask the manager to speed up our meals but by that time we had enough and left. It was my birthday dinner and was very disappointed. Will not return to the restaurant. We had eaten there before and it was wonderful but this time it was ruined with the poor service.
We visited Final Cut for our 6 year Anniversary. This was our first visit to the casino and restaurant. The ambiance was soft and romantic. The staff was polite and friendly and WOW...the food was amazing! A+ experience!
Food was bad, service was slow. Very disappointed
Very courteous staff and we were well taken care of for the entire evening. The food was outstanding as always.
The food and service was excellent! My 91 yr old mother won gift certificates from her grove city lions club and she truly enjoyed her day playing at the casino and her fabulous steak dinner!
Service was slower than I would expect. Restaurant wasn’t busy, drink orders were taking 15-20 minutes for turn around. A dinner for 4 that should have taken 1hr. Lasted well over 1.5hr, not by the choice of the guests. Food was good, service lacking.
This was the first time for us to visit the steakhouse. Wait staff was very attentive and very polite. Food was excellent.
My wife had a filet and I had a dry aged NY strip. My wife likes her steak well done and the filet was cooked to her liking she she loved her meal. My strip was medium and was one of the better steaks I’ve ever had.
We had asparagus and potatoes au gratin. Asparagus seasoning was excellent, but was jumbo and we prefer smaller stalks do not likely to order this side in the future. Potatoes had amazing flavor.
Hard to make this claim after just one visit, and not having been to all of the comparable steakhouses in the area, but right now our favorite steakhouse in the columbus area.
Good food and service but the prices are a bit high.
The steaks were slightly under cooked. It didn't bother me but my date was disapointed. She didn't want it taken back because the service was so slow and we were under a time crunch already.
Everything was wonderful...I like all wines...expensive and cheap...their house chardonnay tasted watered down and I had to return it...have never done that before...other than that it was great!
The food and wine were excellent. The only complaint was the service. It took 10-15 minutes for anyone to even come to our table after we were seated. The restaurant wasn’t that crowded to warrant that type of delay. After ordering we only received ‘drive by’ look ins to see how we were doing. If you’re going to hold yourself out as a fine dining establishment then the service needs to match the food.
Food was very good and the service was poor at best. The waiter said when he returned with our bill that he was so sorry that our service was so bad. Other than that everything was good.
THIS WAS MY 3RD TIME AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT! I AM VERY PICKY AND I HAVE NOT BEEN DISAPPOINTED YET. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ELEGANCE THIS IS THE PLACE.
We chose this place to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. Our server, Tiana, was very attentive and knowledgeable regarding their menu and cocktail list. It was a pretty quiet night there, but seating is arranged to be intimate and noise reducing. I’d 100% recommend this place. The food was amazing and the leftovers we took home were just as good second day. Thanks!!!
this is a favorite restaurant for us, we always have great food and service, Cody and Marissa are lovely people as is the rest of the staff. Kudos all the way around. Also Mara and Miranda on the high top cocktail side are terrific friendly folks. Great staff
The seating is very private and the food was very good. However, the atmosphere was almost eerie - uncomfortable. It was like having dinner at the funeral home. The dessert was excellent
Very enjoyable anniversary dinner
We would certainly return and would recommend to others
We went for our Anniversary, we eat out often , but only do “fine dining” a few times a year . Service was very good but
Overall we were Very disappointed with the food .
I had scallops, there were four , with very little taste .
The wedge salad was very good and the bread was excellent , ( but the bread being the best part isn’t really what we expected) we also had asparagus, it had virtually no flavor .
My husband had prime rib , it was average at best .
I can’t say we will be rushing back anytime soon .
The food was delicious, service was exceptional, but very pricey.
The food was very good. The side dishes that came with my meal need improvement. The portion sizes were too small. I ordered a side of the butter mash potatoes and they were excellent. The steak was seasoned well and cooked to perfection.
It was an awful experience
The steak was dry and grissly. Anytime we needed something we had to flag down the waiter. The manager was cleaning the area we were in the whole time and never once checked on us.
Went for restaurant week.
Eatten at Final Cut many times. Maybe this was just a bad night for them. Everything seemed off from long wait even for bread.
We have always had a great dining experience as well as awesome dinners each time we have been here. Steaks are cooked perfectly and the mustard sauce is a great addition to any steak.
Brought a date on her birthday. Had a really good time. Our waiter was top notch. Asked where the oysters were from and when they were caught. Had answers off the top of his head. When they came out they were really fresh and full. In the special requests we had asked for hookers and balloons because that's just how we get down. Although they didn't have our special requests the staff got a kick out of it and brought us a free sample strawberry taster before our meal.
GREAT PLACE FOR DINNER, WOULD PUT UP AGAINST HYDE PARK, MITCHELLS.
ONLY ISSUE I HAVE IS THAT YOU HAVE A GREAT STEAK PLACE, BUT THE TABLE MATS ARE ALL WOBBLY. THEY DON'T GO WITH THE RESTAURANT.
STEAKS, SIDES AND DRINKS ALL GOOD.
Very good food. Drinks delicious, bread was amazing. Appetizers, soup, salad and sides all very good. Bourbon glazed carrots extremely overpriced. $9 For 9 carrots (I counted them lol). Otherwise very good.
It was my family and I first experience. We thought the food was outstanding. The steaks all were cooked to perfection. Side dishes were so generous they could be shared. French Onion soup was prepared and served the way it should be. It is pricey so be prepared
We were seated and no one waited on us for over 45 minutes. Finally a young lady came in and took our drink order because she realize we hadn’t been taken care of. The manager basically said that it’s not their fault because it’s New Year’s Eve. All the tables were not full and others that sat down after us we’re waiting on well before us. After waiting an hour and a half for food to come, nothing was done For our inconvenience.
Steak house extradionare ...it was my guy's 46th birthday...and this place did not disappoint him...bone in ribeye ..couldn't believe he could not finish it...and i took a few flavorful slices to help overcome my not so fresh sea bass...I didn't want anything to ruin the special night..so didn't complain...the bread was sooo good...and I asked for my server based on previous reviews..Hussan..he was knowledgeable and has worked in other 5star steak houses...had the lobster gouda mac..somethings do not taste, better the, next day...we will return on 14th of February..his treat
The overall experience at Final Cut has always been excellent!
