Final Cut at The Hollywood Casino Ratings and Reviews
Went for a special occasion, my sister was in town from Florida for the holidays. The food was ok. Nothing to write home about. High priced for the portions and quality we received. Really wanted something similar to Ruby's. Not nearly as fancy and the ambience was more like a buffet than a high end steakhouse. Our server Julie was great.
The food and service was very good overall. They could have had a better wine list for a steakhouse, but it was sufficient. The porterhouse flavor was excellent and it was perfectly cooked, but it was a bit gristly. I'd go for a different cut next time, but I'd definitely recommend this restaurant when going to the casino for a splurge.
This was the first time we had been to the restaurant and we loved it! Although it was a little pricey it was well worth it and the food was awesome. The service was amazing and we enjoyed the entire experience. We went there to celebrate our anniversary and would definitely go back again in the future.
Food was amazing. Little expensive, but, you expect that with a place like this. Plus, we checked out the menu and price on their website. Wine Los is on an iPod to view. Technology is great! The steak and seafood was top notch!!! You won't be disappointed.
This was our first time there and sat in the part of the dining room near the kitchen. There are sheets of overlapping glass between the tables/booths and the kitchen, but they did little to block the noise. It was very dsitracting during conversation. Another part of the dining room had moving door panels that seemed to block the rest of the diners from the noise. You should sit on that side.
The food was excellent! While expensive, it really wasn't given the quality. We had a filiet coooked medium rare perfetly, and a delicious braised short rib that was recommended by our waiter and was awesome. The only negative (slight) was the water service. Water was spilling everywhere as the server refilled our glasses.
We typically go to the Final Cut yearly for our Anniversary. We headed there this year to celebrate and boy has it changed. They were busy but nothing out of the unusal for a Saturday night. Service was very slow. The steaks were ordered medium and cooked well done. Our broccoli was very cold when served. My husband ordered a sprite and only got one, as the machine seemed to stop working after that. I had two beers in the time they told us the machine was not working. Now I will give it to the server, he at least had humor in the issues going on that night and told us you know it is a bad night when you have to take a sprite and broccoli off the menu. I am not sure what happened to this restaurant, but it is a shame, it used to be good.
overpriced considering steaks cooked no where near to order and service was poor at best. waiter had no interest in offering to anything about the "how the food was prepared", even though he did ask! we have always enjoyed our experience at Final Cut, this was out of the ordinary in terms of food prep and service, but for what we paid, i would be hard pressed to go back.
I found Final Cut to be a top quality dining experience, from arrival to departure. The staff was friendly, knowledegeable, and very attentive to our needs. Now to the best part -- the food was excellent and my Kansas City steak was cooked to perfection as was my wife's double-cut pork chop. The creamed corn casserole was a great choice along with the potato sides. Portions were large and served family style with plenty to share. I am planning to dine there again very soon. Very enjoyable experience.
First rate with an exceptional menu and mid range prices. I would normally spend much more for the diner we had. The bone-in ribeye was excellent. I have had better but not by mcuh. Compareded to Gibson's in Chicago or the Chop House it was really very good noting the returant is 18 miles from Cincinnati. Very easy to recommend to those that enjoy a quiet, outstanding experience.
Final Cut has a great atmosphere. If you are looking for a quiet dinner spot, where you can have pleasant dinner conversation, this is your place. Do you have larger party, reserve their private room. The food is awesome and is as good and maybe even better than any of the upper steak house restaurants out there. We continue coming back because we are never disappointed. If you have not tried them, do so.
What a wonderful meal for our group of four. Steaks and Sea Food were outstanding in flavor a presentation. Side dishes are enough for two, cream spinach was the best. Our wait staff was on their game, very fun and attentive to our every need. We look forward to our next visit whether we are gaming or just dining.
We had a wonderful visit recently. We went to Hollywood Casino for a weekend and ate at Final Cut for a romantic dinner. Food was good, and the service was impeccable! (Thank you Sanchez and Michael!) We loved the semi circle booths. It was very quiet and intimate. Thank you for a wonderful dinner!
The entire experience was special. The services was wonderful and the food was nothing short of outstanding!
The only thing that I was a little disappointed about was the fact that my wife and I were celebrating our 44th wedding anniversary and I made mention of it in the special request section of opentable; asking for a little special cake to be added. There was no acknowledgement of that.
I would highly recommend this restaurant; even if you did not want to gamble.
From the white sparkling wine and delectable crab cake appetizer, to the mouth watering Fillet Mignon paired with a loaded baked potato, finished with warm pecan pie with house made ice cream that doesn't even compare, my wife and I definitely had a red carpet experience while dining at the Final Cut. The service paralleled to the atmosphere was impeccable. Final Cut is definitely a cut above the rest.
