Final Cut at The Hollywood Casino
The food was absolutely amazing, the waiters and waitresses were absolutely amazing as well! This is by far one of the best restaurants I’ve ever ate and the best food I have ever had and I have eight at many five star restaurants but this one just Went to my # 1 spot.
Very pricey but on par with other steak houses. I got the bone out sirloin and is was very good but a part of it was a little less done than my medium well request. The steak sauce, mashed potatoes and pretzel bread were also very good. Didn’t have room for dessert so can’t comment there. I would return.
Great food!! Best steak we had in a long time!! Very knowledgeable staff. Will certainly be back!!
This is the second time we were there, food again was the best I had. The seasoning was perfect, the temperature was great. The service from the front desk to the servers were great. We will be back for a third and fourth time in the near future.
It was a Valentine’s dinner date. We were seated in a semi circle booth in the main hall so there was a lot of movement by staff and other people dining.
I was given a single long stem rose upon arrival which was very nice. Our waiter was very good. He realized he brought me the wrong wine and brought me a new glass of the correct wine.
(But took away the half drank glass I had in front of me without asking).
We ordered the jumbo shrimp which came out 4 on a plate (for $19). They were good but for $19 for 4, I would have ordered something else.
We ordered a filet and the pork chop. These were both good but my pork chop was very fatty.
They brought us a complimentary dessert which was very good.
Final Cut WAS the best & now the bottom of the barrel. Get the old menu bad & bring back top notch service
YOU CAN GO TO TEXAS ROADHOUSE & GET BETTER STEAK AND FOOD
Hey manager you need to call me!! Terrible service & food
We have been here many times. Food is always excellent!! Seems like they’ve made some recent changes for the better. Never a bad choice for a great dinner.
A bit disappointed with the ambience and definitely the smell. The smoke/stale smell lingered throughout the restaurant and really made it difficult to enjoy the experience. Food was okay, but not great, for that price.
Robyn was our server. She was fantastic and informative on the menu and wine selection. Food was cooked to perfection! Had reservations but was there early, they sat us right away. Definitely recommend for a nice dinner date.
Great food. Great service. Apple cobbler is fantastic!
It was a let down from what I was expecting. Food was small proportion and over cooked. Service was slow.
Food was great. Service was good. Enjoyed everything. Plus they gave each woman a long stem rise for Valentines Day.
Great service table was ready when we check in. The waiter was on the spot bring drinks. He explained the menu well. And brought us everything out in a timely manner. Great service Thanks Final Cut
I have dined at Final Cut many, many times over the past few years, but this time was very different. Their menu has changed, not for the better. Using a more locally sourced approach, in my opinion has ruined the menu. Specifically, the pork chop and no longer offering the Chilean sea bass. The sea bass was the best around and now it doesn't exist. The double cut, duroc smoked pork chop was soooo good with the apple and BBQ sauce, but not anymore. They still offer a pork chop, but it falls short of the original. It's dry and has little flavor. And the cherry sauce that accompanies it has zero flavor as well. Not sure if the steaks are sourced from a different place, but it was not up to the same high standards either. In my opinion, the new menu is a fail. The only bright spot is as always, the service from the wait staff. Brian (Hershey) is always attentive and on point. Thanks Hershey, for making a so so dining experience better. Please bring back the old menu. Everything on it was awesome. Now, would not recommend.
My husband and I always celebrate anniversaries and birthdays at Final Cut. We have never had a bad meal there. The servers are great. It is fairly pricey but the best places usually are.
All I can say is WOW! - Final Cut has always been our go place for special celebrations - and it had never disappointed until the last time we were there - maybe 5 months ago. It just wasn't up to it's usual high standard - so we hadn't been back in a while - but decided to give it another shot. Thank goodness we did! First they've redone their menu. Cut it back and bit and updated. I had the pork chop - it was AMAZING - juicy tender - great seasoning - it comes with a cherry glaze that I got on the side - I'm not much of a sauce gal - and the chop didn't need anything to hide the amazing flavor. Everyone else had beef - filet & strips - all perfect. The sides were great - we had the broccolini, brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes & the crab mac and cheese - really tasty - but not sure it was worth $24!! Everything is ala cart so it gets pricey. Dinner for 4 with wine - $610 (including a 20% tip) which Doug our waiter totally deserved. Really everything was lovely - service, food, wine. A great place if you are wanting to splurge on a special evening.
I had the worst experience at the Final Cut on Friday night.I ordered and shrimp cocktail and it came out with 4 shrimp 2 nice shrimp 2 medium shrimp, one of those were mushy.Never said anything at this point. Figured the dinner would make up for it. NOT! Had a filet, rare, and it was over done. It also was very mealy tasting. The first 3 cuts into it was medium rare too well. Had the server take it back. Tasted a bite of our friends ribeye and it was delicious. Also ordered asparagus also well done.Just burnt and dried out. So, the only thing we ate was a split salad and bread and a couple of shrimp because the shrimp was also bad which after the fact I wished I would have sent the shrimp back to.The highlight for going to the casino was our dinner reservation. I don't gamble much.Very disappointed.
I had a reservation for 9pm and when I arrived they were understandably not too busy. I ordered the 16oz ribeye steak with an add on crab leg. The crab came out like warm and was a very small portion considering the $42 up charge. It was OK at best. The steak came out hot, however for a ribeye it was quite tough. The flavor was not that great either which was disappointing considering the ribeye usually is very flavorful. I ate roughly 1/3 of the steak and my mouth started to hurt from trying to chew the meat, so I had it boxed and took it home for my dogs. What a shame. This was probably the worst meal that I’ve had there and I have eaten there many times, so needless to say it was not the best experience.
Nice place to dine but the dinner could have been warmer.
First time I was so disappointed about Final Cut Was told the menu had changed.... I think for the worst!! Less appetizers & the Mac & cheese was TERRIBLE. Steak was so salty.
Final Cut go back to your better menu!
The food was good . Help was well informed studying to be a chef. Salad house was good. Local steak was the value add. We had both.
Steaks were good but not hot ! Sides were just warm and the mushrooms on top of the steak were cold ! We have never had a bad meal here but very disappointed tonight !
Food was just OK. Service was OK. Comparable to Outback Steakhouse. JUST OK.
Concert. I eat steak in 10 steak places a year including DB in NoLo GR in Las Vegas. You won’t find a better Ribeye anywhere. Bread is warm and served cheerfully and free. Good selection of wine. Sides are large and shareable. Big fan of this place.
Our dinner at the Final Cut was perfect. The service and food was excellent. We will definitely be returning and bringing friends to enjoy the experience with us.
We love coming to Final Cut for our special occasions. Always tender steak and great signature sides.
It's our favorite place, and we will always share special occasions there. Great experience Everytime
Ask for Christina or Brian (Hershey) to make your dining experience perfect. You don't have to wonder about the cuisine, it's always top notch.
Our service was fantastic. Our steaks, potatoes & desert were wonderful. I wasn’t crazy about the macaroni and cheese though. The top was over cooked and the cheese was more liquid than anything. One not so great dish won’t keep me from coming back though.
My fiance and I love to eat here. We go here for every special occasion.
Everything was great except for the smoke smell. The whole restaurant should be smoke free considering everything around there stinks of nicotine. The service and food were great though.
Filet was great and Caesar salad was also very good. Ordered the creamy corn as a side and was really not impressed. Extremely sweet and not able to eat, waiter asked what was wrong but didn’t offer a replacement or to take off bill.
Everyone especially our waitress was extremely nice. The food was excellent.
It was average. Nothing spectacular. The restaurant is nice service was as it should be but not exceptional. Price was average.
We had an outstanding dining experience on Christmas night. The food was out of this world (don’t miss the Mac and cheese). We were celebrating my birthday and I can’t imagine a better way or meal to do it! Thanks so much!
I wasn’t impressed
Sorry for the bad review just wasn’t that impressed with the food. My wife had the ribeye and it was chewy and not what I expected. I had the sea bass . Definitely not the best that I’ve had but better than the steak. Don’t think it was even close to being worth the $$$. Not a fan.
We're always glad to eat at Final Cut. The service and food is Awesome.
Usually really good but not a good experience this time. I believe there was a large party that caused issues for everyone else in the restaurant. Very slow service
Seafood platter was disappointing and overpriced ($110). Steak was very good
