Food was mediocre for the price.
We were headed to a show and time was very limited. The hostess and our server both made it possible for us to get to our show with 15 minutes to spare. The food was excellent !
Took friends before the show
The food was okay -- nothing special. Same with service. Nothing special; quite average.
Waiter was a little short and not very good with gluten-free need. Food was very good.
We have eaten here many times before and loved it. This time we were very disappointed. Our lemon chicken was undercooked, being still pink inside. They did offer to exchange it for something else. There was nothing special in the flavor of the other foods as compared to our local Chinese restaurants at a much more reasonable price. We will not be returning as there are much better options in Las Vegas.
No, No, No and No... This is actually the second time we visited Fin. We were not impressed the first time (2 years ago), but my partner was willing to give Chinese food another chance. I was hoping to convince him Chinese food can be great... wrong choice of restaurant!
A few cons:
1. Peiking Duck (half): for $40+, we were given a tiny "bird" with little to eat. The meat was cold! And not crispy enough. There were only 4 pieces of white buns. Again cold!
2. String beans with XO sauce: not prepared properly. The texture of the beans were tough.
3. The waiter brought our chopsticks with bare hands. They could have at least wrapped them in tissues... Err...
We are not coming back.
The Chardonnay was good, but the menu is confusing for the Conundrum item on wine list. Vegetarian lettuce wraps were OK but not what we expected. The beef Chow Mein was OK as well. The pan fried noodles were OK and had nice scallops and shrimp. Found it very expensive for what you got.
Friendly hostess attending to us quickly. Nice quiet seating for my sister in law and myself. We were craving Chinese and this was super fresh and delicious. Not enough servers so hostess took our order but server was attentive once meal was ordered. The hostess also recommended one meal between the 2 of us as the portion size is large and we would have wasted a lot of food. After reading the reviews I thought it would be a 50/50 chance of being good. We were impressed!
Been here before & wasn't disappointed. Read some bad reviews. So I needed to go back & see if the place down graded. Turns out, it was just as good as last time. I still highly recommend it to anyone wanting a great place for Asian cuisine.
Overpriced and absolutely horrible service for mediocre Chinese food.
Tasty and light meal, enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant.
We were looking for a light meal at the Mirage in a quiet place before taking in a late show. Fin provided all that with a pleasant ambiance. However, it is basic Chinese fare after all, and the $119 bill for two was too steep for even well-prepared dishes, but, you know, Chinese.
Overpriced Chinese food and not happy with our server who was very curt. Would not go back although we stay at The Mirage regularly
We visited Fin before seeing the Beatles Love show at the Mirage. Food was excellent, service was quick and the ambiance was cozy. Highly recommend for dinner or meal before a show.
You can't go wrong with ordering the General Cho's chicken. That was the best dish we had last night. Mongolian beef is good too. I typically prefer to eat white steam rice over brown when eating Asian food but their brown rice is moist , nutty and really delicious.
Food not at all flavorful. Better tasting food at Pickup Stix or P F Chang's. Not at all impressed. Won't ever go back.
Food was okay. Egg drop soup was very tasty and unique. However, very over priced for what we got.
Good friendly service
Excellent service good food
Fin is a Chinese winner! Great break from the hub bub in the casino. Once you walk in it is quiet, classy and peaceful. The food it outstanding and is served quickly and with a gorgeous presentation style (wife's sweet and sour chicken was served in a half of a hollowed out pineapple!). Reasonably priced too. I heartily recommend Fin for a great Chinese experience - we will be back!
one of the best peking duck dished I ever had, and I've had quite a few
My daughter and I went to the Mirage to see the Cirque du Soleil show LOVE for a Father's Day dinner. Dinner at Fin beforehand was really good. Portions were generous we could have split one entree and a side or appetizer.
We have been going to the Fin for numerous years, but our last experience was very disappointing. Their prices have significantly increased and their menu has changed for the worse. What a let-down.....we will probably never go back!
Good portion size not too big or small
Flavor of food wonderful !!!
This place had a cool feel. However the food was just ok. Nothing special. However, it was solid.
Food was fantastic and the service was perfect.
We thought that the waiter was just a busboy because he never asked us if we wanted anything outside of water. He mumbled under his breath and was not very attentive. It was our first experience there but he seemed uninterested. The food was excellent but the value of the food was a little expensive.
We had a girls weekend and they could not have helped make it any more special then they did they were awesome!!!
Fabulous dinner and the decor was very nice and contemporary. Service was top notch.
The restaurant promotes itself as Chinese modern cuisine. Portions are fairly large. We ordered Lemon Chicken and Pad Thai with Shrimp entrees with Chinese broccoli, sticky rice and cocktails. Might have just been our selections, but everything was just OK. Service was good, but bill was kind of high. Fortunately we received a 20% discount for being a Nevada resident. Restaurant itself is beautifully decorated.
Grossly overpriced bland Chinese food. Poor service, limited menu, and outrageous prices (a cup of soup costs more than a family sized fish elsewhere.). Really just awful.
Beautiful restuarant at The Mirage. Great food and service
Would not recommend. The quality of food and cost is not well aligned. The food was no better than what you would find in a fast food Asian restaurant. Definitely not worth the cost.
Overpriced--as are all restaurants at the Mirage from what I can tell. Food was good but not exceptional. The space was pretty. Service not really helpful. At least gives you the option of ordering a few entrees and eating family style. Was disappointed in the cocktail list so ordered wine--at $16 a glass you will save significantly if you stick to water
No ambiance. THe food was so so and our table was sparsely decorated. Will not go back.
Fabulous service, cuisine and ambiance!
Food and service were great but the restaurant was smoky from the casino.
Excellent food. Lovely ambiance and good service. Definitely visit again.
Beautifully decorated - friendly staff and quick service. The only downside was we sat by a table by the doors that were open to the casino. The noise and smoke was disruptive and seeing that I had my kids with me I didn't like smelling smoke through the meal.
