Great meal with friends from out of town. Very authentic Abruzzi region cuisine; delicious! Will come back.

Bes, the Server, was very accommodating. We couldn't have asked for more. The food is good. I prefer more homemade pasta (only one variety). The location has always been perfect for our purposes.

This is a great spot to go before an event at the TD Garden. Consistently good food. Beer selection is boring, no special cocktail menu..

Thought we would give Filippo a shot due to its location near the TD Garden. They couldn't find the reservation I made through Opentable but sat us anyway. Starting with drinks, my friend asked our server for a margarita but the server wasn't sure if the bartender had time to make one because it was busy and the bartender was waiting on tables also! We ordered a calamari appetizer that didn't arrive until we all had our meals in front of us. My wife ordered chicken cacciatore over pasta. It showed up as two cutlets with peppers, onions, and mushrooms on the side and in some sort of clear sauce (not tomato sauce). It wasn't good! I asked for a side salad that only came after my second request and then I guess because I ordered a side salad they just didn't bother providing the pasta I ordered with my meal. We won't be back!

Went on a double date here Friday night, it was not busy at all. Food was good, my veal dish was excellent, my girlfriend's mussels were okay. Fresh bread before the meal and good wine selection and the waiter was able to recommend wines that matched our orders and was very attentive. Very nice atmosphere, authentic Italian place, overall great experience!

We had great service and some delicious food at this restaurant. Close to the Garden, so the perfect spot to grab a bite before a game or concert.

The restaurant was quite quaint, kind of kitschy. My meal was very good but my wife's vegetarian meal was a total disappointment. Nothing like the description in the menu.

Been here many times, food was great as always but the service was not good this time. Several people just looked at us when we came into the restaurant and we waited 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. They were not busy and had many tables open and ample staff working. The waiter got our appetizer order completely wrong. Entree was great as always though. Never offered dessert or cofffee. Lastly we waited 30 minutes to get our check after we had asked for it. Chalking this up to as a bad night for them. Normally we always have an excellent time as we dine there before Celtics and Bruins games. Will try another restaurant next time but I'm sure we will be back again because they good is very good.

Not only was the food fabulous, the waitress Lulu was a hoot. Can't wait to see her "after the election"!!! Everyone should have a waitress (or a friend) like Lulu.

We dined at Filipo because we were attending an event at TD Garden and couldn't get a reservation anywhere else. Food and wine were mediocre. My veal marsala was so tough it was hard to chew and my husband's gnocchi had a chemical taste. The lady next to us sent her meal back because it smelled bad.

Very, very, very busy place probably due, in part to there being a concert at the TD Garden the evening that we dined there. Nevertheless, food was excellent, food prices fair, cocktail price ($13.50) high, wine price ($9) competitive, service, particularly given the crowd, was very good. This place is very convenient to the Garden but parking requires a garage. Check out the SpotHero app; very helpful and easy!

We've been here before, but this time around they were a little bit off in their usual high standards. Small mistakes on service and menu was different than in the past (could only get certain entrees on certain days). But overall the quality of the food & ingredients were fresh and excellent.

The waitress was great, friendly and fun, and gave us an extra cocktail because they had leftover from the Negroni's they made us. The food was good but not great. For an appetizer we had the calamari. Wasn't the best we've ever had but not the worst I guess. Both of our meals were supposed to have anchovies, neither one did. Mine was also supposed to have capers in it also and it didn't have a single caper in it. So why sell a dish on the menu that is missing half of it's ingredients? But charge me the same price? Doesn't make sense to me. At least tell your patrons when they are ordering that their dish will not come with anchovies and capers and would you still like to order it? For a $25-30 entree, I expect to receive what the menu stated. Otherwise the pasta and shrimp in the dish were good and the sauce was tasty. But overall disappointing and not worth what we paid. I doubt we will go back.

Awful service, rude staff, average food. The host was immediately rude when we arrived. The place was empty but it was raining so we decided to go in. It seemed our presence was a hindrance. The food was more expensive than the online menu and not much not very good for the price, albeit it wasn't especially expensive. All in all one of my worst dining experiences ever.

Filippo's is more like going to your friend's house for dinner. The wait staff treats you like they know you. The food is delicious and there is plenty of it. We had a late reservation (9:00PM), we did not rushed is anyway and the restaurant is all about Boston. There is even memorabilia from the old Boston Garden throughout the place. Even in the Men's Room. We highly recommend Filippo's. Great food...good value!

The food was good but not up to the standards of other North End Italian eateries. My wife and I shared an anti-pasta and we both had pasta selections for our main course. The sauces were good however my dish had canned black olives and the tortellini was just ordinary. The portions were large so you did not go away hungry. With so many other great Italian gems in the North End I would not return.

Found Filippo by chance and I'm happy I did!

Went on a date with my boyfriend and we had a wonderful meal.

The restaurant is perfect for a date, with lots of space so you are not crowded and have privacy to converse.

The waiter and staff were so sweet and friendly, perfect service.

My boyfriend is vegetarian and we ordered the pesto gnocchi and penne vegetariano. The pesto gnocchi was incredible, and the penne came with a delicious mix of cheese, walnuts (first time having in a dish, SO good.) , pepper, and eggplant.

The food was really outstanding, we also had gin & tonics which were perfectly mixed.

Ended the meal with an espresso and cannolis, which was a perfect ending.

Overall, honestly a 10/10... Great night, perfect ambiance, delicious food, and really sweet service.

Recommended for Vegetarians!

Service and food was good, except our wine was not poured for us and our food was not boxed for us. Maybe this place does not fall into the fine dining demographic. A bit more attention to customer service and this place would be perfect.
