Very, very average food. This restaurant is very much style over substance. Caesar salad with bitter, old lettuce. Fried calamari tough as a rubber sole, and borderline inedible. Pasta (rigatoni) in a bland tomato vodka sauce with the only tasting note being chili oil, and no pancetta or bacon to provide additional depth of flavour. Pizza burnt on side because it wasn't rotated properly in the oven. Desert was good at least. Way overpriced for quality of food. Pretty much everything I dislike about Toronto restaurants. Service was good, and the restaurant decor is quite nice. But ultimately it's about the food, and this is Italian food for people who have no idea what Italian food actually is. I do not recommend.
The food was fantastic. And the sommelier was very knowledgable. Try the zucchini
Dinner was delicious and the service was great. We were in a hurry with a show to get to and everything arrived promptly.
Good food but too noisy for an intimate dinner. Not your traditional Italian... no cheese or pepper offered to top the pasta. My steak was quite tasty.
Great birthday dinner :)
Service was incredible, food was divine! Beautiful place! Will definitely go again.
Figo's food and service were excellent. Any questions we had were met with increased service.
As always, Figo does not disappoint. The food is fabulous. But, this time I was dining with friends who had a baby. When I booked I made sure to mention that the baby would be coming and we needed room. Despite that, we were sat at a table that had very little room and was difficult to get in and out of. When I enquired about one of the larger tables (we had an early seating) I was told that as a party of three we could not use it. Moreover, there was another party with a baby who were placed at a proper table (not at the lounge area) and had ample room for their stroller.
To make matters worse there is no change table in any of your bathrooms! This truly should be rectified - and it doesn’t have to be one of those ugly plastic things, but something should be provided.
amazing food and service! we got wine and calamari, pasta, pizza and both got dessert and everything was phenomenal. the atmosphere alone is worth checking Figo out. I will definitely be back!
Cool spot but just food just wasn't that good or that much for what you're paying
Great atmosphere, great service but small portions
Amazing food and beyond excellent service. Would go back again and again!
I chose this place to take my best friend out for dinner, I saw it had great reviews, I follow FIGO on Instagram and thought the restaurant looked absolutely beautiful. When we walked in I noticed it wasn’t that busy at all, we got our table right away. I told the rotund, balding man who welcomed us that it was my friends birthday, hoping he would put a candle in a sponge thing and make her feel special. Not at all. I wasn’t very impressed with the food presentation, or quality either. The burrata appetizer was loaded to the max with cheese and there was no flavour at all, just a quarter of a fig on top with 4 tiny pieces of proscuitto. The bread that was used was definitely expired. My friends gnocchi was about 17 pieces of gnocchi in tomato soup, it was too much. My rigatoni looked like something I would order if I was 4 years old. The rigatoni looked like ringos, the sauce was something out of Sobeys. All of this aside, the food tasted good, however I could’ve made it at home with my very limited Italian cooking skills. The only good thing was the Prosecco, which nudged the bill to $134 total. Our server was great about refilling us. To be honest, this place feels so cheap. Never coming here again for food. Maybe the bar.
Very poor service, the server was not attentive enough and was not nice. The food portions are very small and would expect improvements in the future.
I liked the spot. I wish we had a better table as we made reservations but it was packed. People who work there are really nice! Food was good!
Good food and good value. Especially 1/2 price wine on Sunday evening.
Food was great. Wished the servers were a little more attentive. Music was a little loud sometimes.
Brunch at FIGO was fantastic!!
The Eggs Bennie and the Chicken Salad were Outstanding!
And our Service a total delight!
We will be back!
We had a lovely brunch here before going to the theatre. Hosts were pleasant and helpful, food was delicious...yummy drinks and dessert for brekky...I'm in !
Will be back, and will recommend to friends.
The hostess was extremely rude. We (3 girls)arrived 10 minutes before our reservation and were told we could go out for a walk and that our table would be ready at our reservation time. As the weather is cold we obviously chose to wait inside. Other guests walked in and said they were here for their 9:00pm reservations, the hostess greeted them and brought them to their table. I was confused as to why we were told to go for a walk outside in the cold and others were able to go to their table. My friends and i spent $350.00 at Figo that night and would have appreciated to be greater a lot nicer than the rudeness we received. Food was good and our server was nice. It was the elderly man with the red shoes at the front door who ruined the experience for us.
Excellent food and service, one of the best Caesar salads in Toronto. Entrees delicious and were very nicely presented.
Wine a bit pricey but welcome to Toronto!
Will definitely return!
We waited about 20 min for our table, so the manager served our group of 6 a glass of proseco on the house. A nice touch. The burrata pizza was devine. Also had the deep fried zucchini which was so light & tasty. Yes it was loud, but a great atmosphere. Service was great. Will return.
Loved everything about Figo! The restaurant aesthetic is very chic and modern. The service and food were excellent.
Food and service was very good. The big negative for us was the wine prices, which started at $65/bottle of red. Options should be available. This made it an unlikely dining spot for us in the future.
Food was really so so. Very disappointed w the $38 steak and the $36 veal. Pasta was good tho. The chef’s choice of spread was not good at all. One of the worst I’ve had. Service was excellent tho.
going back next Sunday! So amazing, so good, loved everything!!!
We went for brunch to celebrate two birthdays and had a fantastic time. The food was delicious and definitely a great value.
Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the service was a little lacking and we felt like we had to constantly flag down a server or we were ignored.
First time at Figo. Perfect location for brunch before theater. Food excellent.
Delicious food! Lovely staff. Would definitely come back
Loved every bit of our time there! Food, service, atmosphere - all terrific!
I had such a great time! The restaurant itself was beautiful, the waitress so attentive, and the food was great. I went for my birthday and even got a cake of my choosing. I had an incredible experience at Figo and will come back again!
The pizza was very tasty with good quality ingredients but unfortunately was saturated with oil and very heavy as a result
Pastas were not good at all. Disappointing.
I expected better quality italian food
Service was friendly, attentive and helpful. We ordered and split the Meatball Puccia (which was delicious) and the Margherita pizza (unfortunately, was cold as if it was sitting out waiting for the Meatball dish to be served together) for lunch. We appreciated we weren't rushed or asked to leave even after we paid for the bill and were sitting talking. Been here for dinner before and was my first time at Figo's during the day. The atmosphere is airy, spacious and lots of light - the decor is beautiful. The brunch menu had a lot of good options.
The table we got should be comfortable for 4ppl not 5+1.
love the food, absolutely adorable set up, staff is really nice but a little too eager
Sat next to the kitchen so our clothes spelled like food and wood fire when we got home.
Food is excellent . Very flavourful . Pizza is worth it’s value but the pasta could be a bigger portion.
It’s all very good , lots of flavour.
Great spot for a business lunch & great value for the dishes! I had the branzino and would get it again, only thing it was a tad oversalted but that can be subjective.
