Great service. Calamari and zucchini were delicious.
We had a great brunch here before heading to the theatre.
* Great food, atmosphere and drinks
I will definitely be going back
Very disappointing dinner. We got a warm welcome from the Hostess and that was the highlight. Our server was mediocre. He was not very attentive. He got the job done but barely spoke 2 words to us other than to take our order. The bread with the burrata appetizer was burnt. The chicken scalloppini was dry and tough and the portion was not very generous but the pasta portion for an adult male was a joke. Its noodles. Restaurants make their biggest mark up on pasta so why not fill up the bowl? There were about 20 rigatoni noodles cut in half. The table next to us had burnt crust pizza. The place has a good vibe but be careful if you are going for anything other than drinks as the food is not good.
What a Restaurant!! Great Food!!
Extremely noisy environment and lack of propper cleaning around and at the table.
The selection of chairs adds up to the noise and the ceiling choice bounces back on the concrete floor all the sound.
Poor technical design.
Great food served by beautiful people!
Great food, wine and service. Only drawback was it was very noisy and therefore difficult to carry on a conversation.
Ordered the nicoise salad with tuna. It arrived to disappointment with can tuna on top. It was very ordinary and not worth eating. So didnt eat hardly any of it.
The wait staff were friendly and very helpful, although they did leave us standing out in the cold for 10 minutes. Granted, we were there 10 minutes before they opened for lunch but it would have been so easy for them to invite us in so we could get something to drink at the bar. The staff were all in there, anyway. As the place filled up over the half hour before noon, the noise became unbearable, so much so that we could not carry on a conversation at a very small table. Why they thought they needed "music" in this cacophonous room is incomprehensible to me. The food was a disappointment. I had a "special", steak salad, made with a very tough piece of meat which had no flavour, at all. We were disappointed with the over-all experience, especially after having read a few very positive reviews about the place beforehand. They need much improvement, especially in this area where there are many eateries competing with them.
The ambience is modern and beautiful, service was also great. Food is very average though: I had the chicken which was too salty, my friend had pasta which was uncooked. I might go back for drinks, but not the food for sure.
This was an amazing restaurant. The food was absolutely fabulous and the staff was very friendly. Enjoyed everything. Would definitely go back.
Food was some of the best Italian food in the GTA. Service was great. Sign outside hard to read, walked past it 3x
I'm fairly certain proximity to and the openness of the kitchen was causing irritation in my eyes. Other than that it was very nice. Awesome food and friendly staff - maybe they could use a few more chairs for when you have to wait for a table.
Delicious food and attentive staff! The noise level was okay when we arrived at 6, but by 7:30 was too loud for easy conversation.
Our server completely ripped us off and was pushing for us to buy the most expensive wine and food orders. My husband ordered a simple cocktail not on the menu and it was $20! Which is ridiculous considering it was made with Canadian club rye. I am vegetarian and the server told me I could add arugula to my pizza instead of the meat but didn’t mention it would be an extra $10. Overall the food was good but we were very unhappy about the up charging and disrespectful service.
Fantastic. Our waiter was from Italy so it felt even more authentic. Love the half price bottles of wine on Sunday.
A good choice for Entertainment District dining. The food is good, the liquor a little overpriced.
Very vibrant crowd so a bit noisy.
A good choice nonetheless.
We loved this restaurant. The staff was friendly and engaging. The food was wonderful. Excellent wine list. Would highly recommend to anyone.
We always love coming to Figo. Our favourite server recognized us even though we live out of town and don’t dine in Toronto very frequently. She made us feel very welcome and offered us a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. What a nice touch!!! Thank you!
Beautiful feminine atmosphere with wonderful Italian cuisine to match. Did not feel rushed and the employees were super helpful. We even asked the waiter to take our picture after they happily obliged.
We love Figo - great go to place before a Mirvish show. Have been many times. The service is great. Its a hopping place with lots of young people. Love people watching through the big windows. Fun place - a bit noisy but lively. Pricey.
Our waitress was very good and attentive but the food was lacking. My wife’s meal tasted excellent. Mine was just so-so, noodles undercooked. Very, VERY noisy. We were rushed, in and out in 45 minutes. Not the nice Italian experience I was hoping to find. A little bit on the expensive side considering the humdrum quality of the food and the portion sizes. No garlic bread, just FYI.
Waitress was perfect. Food was great.
Great food, drinks and service.
This was our 2nd time at Figo.
I have recommended the restaurant to friends who also loved the food
This beautiful spot is high on our list to return. Everything about it was excellent. We were in a corner table, so did not find it too noisy.
We ordered a variety of plates and shares them amongst the 5 of us. This way we tasted even more of the delicious dishes. All were good. We left feeling fully satiated, but not overfull.
An excellent spot to eat and handy to the TTC.
Superb food. Great atmosphere. Greater hosts. Attentive service. A clean open kitchen. Nice bar scene. Great wine selection. Loved it. Must go...
Great food! Great service!
Food was good. We enjoyed the pecorino appetizer, the seafood pasta and the gnocchi. I thought that the food was reasonably priced but the wine was ridiculously expensive. Choices ranged from $65 up for nothing spectacular. We also found that the restaurant was very loud when filled. My friend and I were shouting at each other across the table.
Great place for Sunday brunch, before a matinee theatre performance. Very good service, good food only 1 block from the Royal Alexandra and Princess of Wales theatres, slightly further to Roy Thomson Hall.
Porchetta with eggs should be served with toast.
Eggs benedict did not have any protein
Espresso / Orange cocktail was very good
Service was excellent
It was my boyfriend and my anniversary. They treated us like kings. Loved the food and our server and will definitely come back and recommend to friends.
The service was very good, but when the food comes within 10 minutes of ordering you know that gnocchi was not hand made. The sauce and gnocchi were warm-ish. The grangano had been in an opened bottle too long. Great servery personnel, however, for the price there is far far better food nearby.
Wine expensive, food had no taste. No salt in pasta. Quality and ambiance was good.
Figo is an outstanding choice for lunch or dinner ... business or social. All pizza is superb, especially soppressata and all of the appetizers (especially octopus, honey ricotta and fried zucchini) and main courses (we recommend spaghetti a limone and cacio e pepe) are equally spectacular. Everyone is pleasant and they go out of their way to make every visit special. We obviously love this place
The food was delicious and fresh! However, I would not recommend coming here to celebrate a special occasion. Server did not acknowledge the special event and our visit felt very rushed as we were in and out within half an hour. Very cute restaurant inside, good for a quick bite to eat if you don't mind not so great service.
Limited Menu. Food was ordinary. Nothing to remember much about this place. No complimentary breads. Will not visit again.
Enjoyed my lunch at FIGO. Very good food and service.
