I chose this place for a girls night dinner and it was perfect for that! Great food, great service and a beautiful space
Some good, some disappointing. Zucchini flowers were good - light, deep fried in a tempura batter and creatively presented. My pizza sounded good when it was described by waiter but turned out to be flavourless and quite greasy, crust was good though. My colleague had the bucatini and it looked and tasted just like just plain meat spaghetti. Waiter was almost too eager, to the point of being a bit overbearing - checking in us a bit too often.
Amazing food, fresh ingredients great date night spot. I expected more on the charcuterie board 'chefs choice'
We went to Figo for Mother’s Day. Overall great experience. When I had made the reservation it was for 5 people. Instead of giving us a table for 6 they decided to squeeze us all in a corner. When asking for an additional table to seat us comfortably they said it was reserved. I would recommend booking for even numbers so this doesn’t happen to you.
Upon arriving I was disappointed at first to find out that the table reserved for my friend (from out of town) and I was at the bar, which to me is not really a table it’s just seating.
The hostess, (I believe her name was Deandra) was friendly and welcoming, but also very understanding and accommodating. As she sat me at the bar, she said that she would see what she could do to try and find a table for us. While at the bar, it seemed the bartender was quite busy being the only one making drinks for the whole restaurant, that I flagged down a waiter to order a drink.
She had checked in on me 5mins. after sitting me down to say nothing was yet available but would keep me posted. Then 10 mins later she came back and was happy to say she found a table for us. While still waiting on my friend, she sat me down and her attention to great customer experience definitely changed my mind about leaving and going to another restaurant.
Because of her, that definitely set the mood to a really nice evening with delicious food and great ambiance. Our waitress came around and checked up on us as often a needed and they were all quick at refilling our glass of water. Really good service. Would absolutely go back.
The staff was fantastic. We should up with Starbucks cups and we worried they were going to ask us to throw them out. Instead they offered mugs. Great service and delicious food!
Recommended by our kids for a special pre show meal. Perfect recommendation. Exceptionally good service!
Grilled octopus was amazing and the sospressa pizza was both spicy and sweet. Delicious.
It was noisy. Waiter James was exceptional. Pizza was good
The food was amazing, and the drinks were creative and delightful. Will definitely be back
As always, it was a delightful, delicious evening! It’s my fourth time and I am already planning to be back! The best amaretto sour ever, just saying:)) Had dinner before the show and service was outstanding! Highly recommend.
An enjoyable pre show dinner but food was not exceptional and the prices far too high. I can not recommend this for dinner. Likely better for small bites and drinks only
Absolutely delicious eggs/pork belly dish for breakfast! Will come back for this again! Service was good! Decor is stunning! Loved this place!
We’re told we could only dine for a maximum of 90 minutes. One of the first times in my life I’ve been told that.
The atmosphere and food were top notch, service was also great. We hit them with a last minute increase to our table size and they made it work despite being slammed. Our waitress was a total pro and we were all very happy with the food.
We got a pleasant surprise and greeted by the Manager with sparkling wine for being the first customer in the outdoor patio of the season. The waitress was amazing with friendly service and great recommendation. The food was delicious with just the right balance ! Totally exceeded my expectation and highly recommended !
Noisy and energetic, the vibe was inclusive, staff were wonderful, and the manager was a real gem. He heard my enthusiasm for good food and surprised us with a complimentary mini plate of homemade Italian delicacies preceding the meal. Head chef was a lovely young man. Clearly a wonderful culture for the staff to work in and as a customer we were blessed with happy staff whose positive energy made the experience even better. Well done! I highly recommend!!
The ambience at this restaurant is amazing, the food is delicious and tasty. The servers are so friendly and offers suggestions if you want. Our server was checking on us every now and then to see how we were doing. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. The manager came to say hello to us and ask us how we were doing. That was so special for us. We will definitely return.
Waitress was wonderful, they treated me so well for my birthday!
We had a really amazing experience for our first visit to Figo for brunch. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend and would go again! Definitely try a Figo Caesar and the panacotta!!
I had only been to Figo once before when it first opened for brunch. It was a lovely experience, so I was excited to return for dinner. Unfortunately, it felt more like a club than a restaurant, with uncomfortable sofa seating, loud music and loud people. The service was awkward, at best. Our server’s heart was in the right place, but those who delivered the food to the table did so with little understanding of grace. My chair was hit from behind every time someone moved around me. And there were big blocks of time when no one came by. A disappointment. I ate at another establishment on King St. the night before and had superior food, wine and service for less money.
We received a gift card to FIGO and used it for our anniversary dinner. We chose the Formaggio E Salumi - Chef's Choice, Romaine, Margherita Pizza and the Agnolotti. We were very pleased with the flavour and presentation, the staff and the ambiance of FIGO. Would definitely return !
Great spot for lunch!
I do not have any allergies to anything that was in my dish as per the menu description however I had an allergic reaction to the Limone pasta. I didn’t bother telling the waitress, I simply didn’t eat the other half of my dinner and tried to enjoyed my drink. It tasted good but unfortunately I was unable to finish it due to an itchy throat, mouth and ears...which did worry me during my time here. Other than that, the restaurant itself was nice.
Small portions but delicious! Great for sharing.
The restaurant let me in when I got there early before they opened. By the time my friend got there we requested to be seated at a nicer table easily. The service was great and the food we ordered was so so. Their calamari I really enjoyed however their pizza was a huge let down. The dough was too thin and the toppings didnt feel substantial. The crust was too dusty and didnt have enough substance to it. Just felt like flat bread.
Went here for my birthday dinner and was very pleased with my meal which was the Wild Boar Bucatini, very flavorful! Its a little loud but not so bad that you cant hear each other. Nice ambiance and delicious pizzas also. Seems to be a consistently popular place.
Felt we were rushed. Server came around several times in 10 minutes after we had ordered appetizers and wine asking for our entree. Let us enjoy the moment with our friends.
Beautiful place with amazing food.
I would highly recommend this restaurant for a date, special occasions, or for a get together with friends.
We waited for the table 35 minutes, I know, we received drinks for free, but somehow it doesn't help, it still makes me very sad, because I expected more.
Also, your burrata is not a burrata, it looks and tastes like mozzarella. For these prices in the menu, I expect the food to be very tasty. But what you offer is cooked at a very low level, unfortunately.
The place is very noisy and nothing is done to accumulate the noise.
Very, very sad and disappointing experience.
Great food but it was a little loud for us.
I’ve enjoyed the food, ambiance, and top notch service. It’s a contemporary and modern place where it’s suitable for most occasions.
Such good breakfast. I left fully satisfied. It’s a large space.
Service levels are high, tables are too close together within the middle of the restaurant, food is good but not great. Prices are okay, not too expensive.
My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary and we were greeted right as we entered. We were presented with some lovely complimentary champagne. The waitor was attentive and helpful when it came to questions for the menu. Food came fast and it was delicious. Portions were large but small enough to finish. The overall restaurant is beautiful and cozy. It’s fancy but not completely over the top. The prices are just right for the experience. I would recommend to others for sure. Going to come back soon!
We had never been to Figo and chose it because of the proximity to the theaters. The food was fabulous! The zucchini fritters with a lemon creme and a drizzle of honey were soooo good! The wood oven pizza was also really delicious, ours had potato on it, we loved it. ! The service was very good too, very friendy and attentive. We'll be back!
Scrumptious decor, smells delicious, food was great, cocktail was unique and yummy. affordable wine options. Perfect pre-theatre. Service was a but slow but it was packed with probably most guests going to a show.
Came here with a friend for a business meal. Awesome spot for lunch and attentive staff. Food is always on point. Nice European look and feel and the interior is awesome.
Very impressive restaurant - unexpectedly. I likes the quality and expertise to prepare & present the food - everything incl. the service was GREAT. I will recommend the restaurant and definitely will come back when I am in town again. Best Regards KURT
Excellent service and great food. It was my friend's first time in Figo and she thoroughly enjoyed it and said would definitely go back.
