Good food and value for money, not too expensive!
The service is great, portion size for the meals could be more generous!
Overall value for money you pay.
Very nice Sunday brunch. Very busy due to the LA marathon but good service overall. It's a very pretty space, nice light.
WOW! First, the food... everything was first-rate from the marinated feta to the beets to the perfectly cooked scallops with Israeli couscous. What a bargain during their 5-6 pm happy hour - we read that it is the best on the Westside and it is true! Second, the service - perfect!
The only drawback was the noise level - we had to agree not to speak as we could not hear each other, but the food was worth it!
Service was not good at all
Food was ok
Front desk people were not proper
It took us 15 mins to get a waiter in our table
really nice place, good service and food, and the atmosphere is great
FIG never disappoints!! Well done to chef - the quality is outstanding!!
Six of us had a breakfast reservation and we requested a nice table with a view. We could see the outside pool area and it was lovely. Noise level buzzy but not too high. All of us ended us with the mushroom scramble, a house specialty and it was very good.
Service was excellent and waiter brought a muffin with a candle in honor of the birthday girl. Would recommend!
overall, good food, nice menu, slow service but it is a busy place especially for brunch which we enjoyed on Sunday.
Great venue for a birthday br(l)unch for my wife. Service was great, food was great, all in the party of 6 was happy and content.
We enjoyed our meal at Fig, but the noise level was not conducive to conversation. Good food and drinks though. My seared scallops with couscous was delicious; my husband said his hangar steak was good, not outstanding though. The grilled halloumi salad was wonderful and more than adequate for four of us to share.
You must do something about the sound level. The table near us was so loud we could not even hear each other. The food selection was limited and most was too spicy. We all agreed we would not be returning
The always outstanding Fig---food is 100% wonderful at each meal....we had just been here less than a week prior but found that one of our favorites-- something called a bread balloon, we not served at brunch on Sundays!==so we came back on Friday just to have lunch and be sure we could get the bread balloon as an appetizer.
Chicken Schwarma wrap is excellent as well!
The servers all seemed annoyed. They stuffed us in the worst table possible because we apparently didn’t seem cool or wealthy enough to be there. The food was bad, and my partner and I both got sick. That’s the last time I give them a chance.
One of the best restaurants in LA! Check it out...
Great and friendly staff . Awesome service with a smile and very attentive. Fresh, Authentic, creative and tasty food. Great ambiance even though it’s loud and very busy. Would recommend to friends and family. We would definitely come back again. Parking was very easy with validated valet.
Always consistent and superb food- sometimes service might be a bit off-- crowded mostly as it is just that good. IN a terrific area for a stroll before or after any meal...
Have had breakfasts, lunches and dinners here over the years and each meal always very good!!
Will definitely return again!
Went with a client and had asked for a specific area to be sat but they didn’t accommodate. I feel the hostesses don’t care about where people are sat which is super annoying when I specifically make requests. Not the first time at this restaurant btw. Service at the table was food but our waiter was quite somber and wasn’t sure if he was mad or sad the whole time. Food was copious, very good and we ordered way too much! Took a doggy bag home. Desert was yummy!
The food really is very well prepared and plated. Just be advised that this is not a place for quiet conversation at peak hours
Servers seem a bit preoccupied and not really listening to patrons
It is a very nice restaurant with nice ambiance and good service. Food and drinks are very good but It was too noisy to have chat with friends.
Always a good meal. Great service but somewhat tight sitting
Food and service were good, but extremely loud.....unable to converse with friends we hadn't seen in 10 years.
Fig continues to be one our our favorite restaurants in Santa Monica. The food is fresh and delicious, the ambience beautiful and the service consistently great. Raul and Ariel are two of our favorite servers. It’s always a delight to bring a friend for the first time because Fig is always a hit.
Went for the whole fish--so disappointed to find it was sold out. The bread balloon and pizzas were amazing, however.
Chose Fig for my Birthday dinner with friends. Had outstanding overall service, and our meal was delicious.
Loved our night out! Food and wine and AMAZING dessert!!
Great food and ambience. We had the beets, bread balloon, lamb shanks, and the scallops. Everything was really good! Definitely going here again.
Kids' nenu is good. Our 10 year old liked the hamburger. The bread (balloon), while bland, has the perfect texture for the hummus and eggplant.
The choices for vegetarian large plates are okay, nothing to crave. Fabulous tomato soup but the cabbage was good but too salty. The chicken was perfect and tender.
The appetizers are amazing -best broccoli ever! Shishito peppers are perfectly seasoned and cooked. Too often, we've got them overdone to the point of being soggy.
Always good. Would prefer a table away from the entry.
I had a business meeting. Appetizer- Bread balloon was excellent and a tomato soup that we were told was outstanding was very average. I had the shrimp tacos that were absolutely the terrible. How a restaurant in the Fairmount could serve that is beyond me. Service was very professional but lacked warmth. I have no interest in spending $75 for such a meal for two again. Food Trucks are far better. They need to up their game.
Great place to have dinner.
The food was amazing! The bread balloon is a must with the warm lentils.
Fantastic food and service. Parking is expensive but totally worth it. You might even spot a celebrity like did ..
Good variety of food choices on the menu. Thought for sure Fig Burger would’ve been perfectly cooked, but medium turned out to be toward well done & dry. Asked for crisp fries & they weren’t. What turned out to be a pleasant surprise, pizza margarita was best part of the meal. Ice cream & sorbet for dessert, was good way to end lunch.
Very yummy food and great service, would recommend
I am always a little weary of hotel restaurants but Fig had good reviews so we chose to go for my birthday brunch. Do not waste your time. The service was slow, rushed and unapologetic. The food is gross. Gluten free pancakes tasted microwaved (plenty of better places for them in Santa Monica) and the eggs were hard, browned in spots and inexcusable. The gluten free bread was straight out of a grocery store. And to top if off, the valet forgot to get our car.
Was there to celebrate with a friend and enjoyed their Happy Hour. It was delicious and even the bottles of wine were 50% off!
