When you order Bnansino dont you expect the whole fish for $40 instead of 2 small fillets. Food was tasty however. dont know if I will be back.

I've gone here several times now. Although the waiters are lovely and accommodating, the kitchen takes an incredibly long time every time I am there. It's ridiculous, must be woefully understaffed -- I won't be going back.

The flavor profile of my branzino fish dish was too sweet and nothing else. Tried the fish without the sauce the fish was bland and I usually love this fish. Deserts were underwhelming too. The pate appetizer was fine. The saving grace of the meal was the happy hour discount. However I am open to trying other menu items.

I took my ten-year-old daughter to Fig for brunch for my birthday. It was disappointing. I don't like to complain and I usually don't write reviews but...this was a special brunch and I felt very unspecial at Fig. It looks like there is a nice area towards the back of the restaurant - with lots of natural light. We were seated near the entrance in a two-seater in a row of two-seaters. The service was...lackluster. It took forever to get drinks, more forever to order food. My daughter ordered the ricotta lemon pancakes and they were fantastic. I ordered chilaquiles and they were acceptable. I was planning on ordering the unlimited sangria/brunch special but the waiter never checked back. I would've liked sour cream but the waiter never checked back. For dessert, we ordered the warm, assorted cookies which were neither warm, assorted or good. The waiter took them off our bill when I mentioned this fact. He was perfectly nice about it. We got all dressed up and had breakfast at a place where we weren't special. We were pretty much ignored and shoved in a corner. It happens when you try to go to nice places with a kid...even a perfectly well-behaved kid. I was planning on spending twice as much money as I did...it was my birthday.

We went for a nice breakfast. They sat us at a terrible table. We watched servers and busboys running around but not once did anyone stop to see how we were doing g or to take our dirty plates. Our waiter was short made no conversation and we had to flag him down 3 times for essentials. I had a beautiful lunch with my mother there a few months back so was hoping for the same experience with my husband. Not even close.

Great food with sub par service that evening. All dishes were done with perfection. Our server forgot one of our dishes and neglected our table all evening. However we did get some $ off the bill for the and service .

While overall the food was above average and the main waiter was ok, there was a serious lack of attention and care with the runners. Water was never refilled even when requested, though eventually we got some from the main waiter. An appetizer order never came. And two of our dishes were hot, the other two were not. It wasn’t particularly busy either.

We ordered the bread balloon. My lunch date order the hamburger. A tad on dry side. I dined on the tomato soup. All in all a nice venue however service on the slow side.

Absolutely delicious food. We were dining there at 5 pm, their happy hour menu is the same as a dinner menu, but @50% discount.

I thought the food was disappointing. As was the bloody Mary. When we were first seated, we waited about 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Fortunately, another waiter came on (perhaps they were short-handed at 12:30) and he was excellent and very attentive. But the delay upon arrival brought down the stars. I also didn't feel we were warmly welcomed by the hostess. I would not likely visit for brunch again.

Noise level so high that the entire experience was a disaster. Service fair, took too long for entrees to be served, one was cold and not prepared as described on the menu.
This is a $$+ price level restaurant which doesn't serve any complimentary bread, an insult in and of itself

The food USED to be good but they recently have a new chef and our dinner there tonight was very disappointing. Everything from the cocktail, to the service, to the flavor of foods was uneventful and mediocre and we will not be returning there. Very sad as it’s a beautiful venue.

Food was good, server wasn’t as attentive as he could’ve been considering how quiet the restaurant was. The bussers actually visited us more. Peanut butter torte was amazing though, but you can also get it at the lobby lounge.

We made our reservation for 5:30 on a Tuesday in hopes of having a little calm before the noise storm but by six the room was as you say "energetic" and I say "super high decibel," intensified by the tile floor. Why is it in LA my wife and I only yell at each other in restaurants? But if one is acclimated, then FIG is a marvelous restaurant, imaginative, exquisite food at reasonable prices for an A-class establishment. Thank you for a tremendous meal.

I had the lobster salad which was OUTSTANDING! It had lots of nice chunks of lobster. The restaurant is a bit too loud for my taste, but fortunately our table was in a location that was a bit quieter. I forgot to get the parking ticket validated - fortunately the valet sent me back to the restaurant for it. It saved $30 on parking! It would be good if the waitress would ask if parking validation is needed when paying the bill. Lovely ambience, will definitely go again!

Came here for brunch w/ friends, great cocktails, ambiance was fun, the service was not top notch, but OK! I would still come back! I had the lobster cobb w/o bacon, it was delish!

Sadly, the menu has changed quite a bit lately. New chef? Three people dining could not find a single thing we wanted to order.
We ordered a bread balloon (safe) while trying to decide, but the pumpkin “dip” served with it was bland and tasted like baby food. We got up and left, closed our tab without ordering dinner.
Every restaurant needs to keep their menu fresh, understandably, but this round seems to have missed the mark. The flavorful apps were removed from the menu. Nothing much to choose from except overpriced entrees. The Fig used to be a great go to. Now, it seems like Hotel food. Hotel prices. Oh well.

Das Restaurant ist nicht zu empfehlen
1. zu laute Musik, eine Untrhaltung war nicht möglich
2. zu kalt, erst noch mehrmaliger Bitte wurde ein Heizstrahler eingeschaltet
3. Servicekräfte waren lustlos und arrogant
4. Das Essen ist gut, steht aber in keinem Verhältnis zum Preis

Gäste am Nachbartisch Verliesen wegen dieser Atmosphäre das Restaurant ohne Bezahlen

Fazit: wer einen schönen Abend verbringen möchte sollte diese Restaurant meiden

Wir waren zweimal in diesem Restaurant, am 24.12.2018 war sehr viel Betrieb, sodass wir die o.g. Punkte als „Stress“ abgehakt hatte, leider war das eine Fehleinschätzung, am 02.01.2019 siehe oben

Used to be wonderful. Food was cold, waitstaff, while friendly, was frantic....way too many people per station. Bad management, especially on a holiday.
Food was cold...and it was breakfast. Cold eggs Benedict. Unacceptable. Partner’s was too..cold eggs, cold toast, no butter...until we flagged down waitperson...then it’s too late.
Only the coffee was hot, it’s served in an amazing carafe that keeps it that way.
This is sad...we really loved recommending this restaurant to friends....no more.

Reviews, location and menu led me to plan a dinner for our foodie family. The menu was different than what was listed on open table. I was VERY excited to see both black it was at room temperature, was under-cooked and rapidly proceeded to become cold, even before all of our plates were delivered to the table (which took way too long...10+ minutes). The second entre (lobster and chanterelle rigatoni) was an excellent combination of flavor, but arrived cold. The prosciutto and wine to accompany the meal arrived after we had patiently been picking at our meal for 15 minutes.

Overall, the menu is very creative and incorporates exceptional fresh and flavorful items. and the location and atmosphere is exceptional; however, the chefs (or line cooks hired away from some basic eateries, more likely) were off their game this Saturday prime-time meal. The waiter was pleasant and seemed to attempt to be attentive, but he seemed overworked and we did not have back up staff to attend to us. If we had gone to California Pizza Kitchen around the corner, I probably would not have been so disappointed. It seems a shame to have wasted fresh white truffles on a cold, under-cooked and mediocre meal, especially at the premium price that we paid...

A little too noisy. Food was fabulous. Server made great recommendations and because of her knowledge of how food was prepared, we made great selections. Would definitely return. Ambiance was warm and inviting.
