What Insiders Are Saying
FIG is an all-around solid restaurant but that Happy Hour of theirs is the best on the Westside.
While I love Delicious Healthy New Seasonal Farm to Table Dishes and Top Notch Service at 50% Off. In 2 weeks some Entree Prices has Increased $10-$12. I think Fig Needs to Readjust and Substitute or Lower Entree Prices.
Since I Drive 40 miles RT to Santa Monica, I Either Come every 2 weeks or Order More Appetizers and No Entree.
We had a nice brunch at Fig. Was a bit disappointed in our table location considering I had made reservations weeks in advance. Our waiter was very attentive and everyone enjoyed their food.
Great food, great service, excellent wine suggestion after I described what I was looking for.
Requested a patio table, but had to request again upon arrival. Opentable amend to reservation time didn’t work which caused confusion. Food was nice but nothing blew me away, which I would expect for the price. Servers were lovely. Cheese board serving size was very underwhelming!
We had a nice table for 4 and all of us had a great time. The food was average but no complaints because of the Happy Hour prices.
Food was good however the service was horrendous. They need to put more waitstaff during prime breakfast time.
There were 6 of us at table. (Apr 14 2019) All the dishes looked great. My scrambled eggs, which arrived with a simple but lightly/tastefully dressed salad, were moist and hot. Not a complicated dish, but nicely prepared and presented. My wife's lemon-ricotta pancakes set a hard-to-match standard for that brunch favorite around town. Fig's is the best version. And serving it with room temp butter is a stroke of culinary thoughtfulness. Again, simple but perfect. Looking forward to our next visit.
Our friend’s birthday went unacknowledged until the end of the meal after we had ordered and eaten dessert even tho I mentioned it when making the reservation, at check in and to our server who asked me to spell the name of the birthday person. Finally a manager brought over a plate of macarons with a candle. Too little-too late.
The service was just fair-non attentive. The bar ran out of ice cubes so crushed ice was substituted which was not what we asked for.
All food came in rapid succession with the appetizer served last!! Food was ok but nothing to rave about.
We will not return, obviously!!!
I could go on and on but I think you get the point.
Please notify the Miramar Hotel/FIG that my guest yesterday has a disability and uses a walker. The lift from the lobby to FIG was broken - she had to walk up a rather steep ramp into the kitchen storage area in order to get to the restaurant. The concierge said that she has complained to the hotel many times but it has not been taken care of.
Food was great but service is slow and happened to be sitting next to a creepy guy
The wild mushroom ravioli was full of mushrooms and well-bathed in sauce. Pasta itself was perfect. The fresh Spring peas tasted of the garden and were of proper consistency. The food is as good as it was on our last visit 5 years ago.
Best food, great happy hour deals, and amazing convo with waiter. 10/10!

Great food and service. Definitely sit outside on a sunny day!
Love the atmosphere - chic greenhouse vibe with succulents, Edison bulbs, and a nice view of the pool. Great spot to take out of town guests. Brunch is a good value considering the area. Staff has always been super friendly. Amazing happy hour from 5pm-6pm. Only negative is the noise level during dinner.
Very good selection of cheese. However the entrees were nothing special. The pork chop was huge and nicely seared but the fat was not rendered out correctly. I expected a lot more from a restaurant this famous.
Kitchen was apparently backed up but there we were heavily compensated and the food was still excellent.
Waiter Jordan is sooo great! Thank you for a fantastic night
Pretty place. The floor however was filthy. What must the kitchen look like????? Breakfast was tasty.....but a bit overpriced
Excellent food, drinks and service. Really enjoyed the selection cheese and wines.
We were there to watch a beautiful sunset. Salads were terrific, we shared. The dressings were
subtle and excellent. The ravioli with peas and pesto was seasoned for the springtime. More beautiful subtle flavors.
Desert was a fruit cobbler served very warm with ice cream. A perfect ending to a beautiful meal.
Can't wait to return.
We sat at the bar for brunch and could see how busy it was, we didn't expect immediate service due to the high volume of people there, but then again we are paying customers just like everyone else. Our server was clearly a bit overwhelmed but we had to end up asking for all of these items during our hour long brunch:
Clean mats and silverware
Why our food was taking so long and the people sitting next to us got theirs first but sat down after us
Needless to say we weren't impressed. The truffles and egg toast was good though!
Overpriced hotel meal.
New chef not near as good.
Service was slow so cancelled some item
Food was good nothing special
Poor service. Just ok food. Staff not helpful. Even the Valet had bad attitude. I would not recommend.
Had dinner during happy hour at FIG. Food was good and 50% discount off is such a good deal.
We always have a few glasses of the rose Champagne.
As it’s so popular you have to get there before 5pm and queue so you can get a place at the bar!
Service is very slow; leave plenty of time for your meal.
Service was slow despite it not being a busy Tuesday night. Food was ok.
Unfortunately, I cannot review this restaurant. I met 2 clients there and we sat at a corner table to avoid the noise. It is the table to the left as you walk into the restaurant. We sat there for 30 minutes and no one greeted us so we left. Again....unfortunate....
Service is very friendly, but not very engaged. Our waiter disapeared for about half an hour. The food is good, but below expectations after reading the website and other recommendations. The restaurant belongs to a hotel, the interior design is ok but nothing special.
It looked smaller than pictures on yelp or other sites. Inside a hotel, Romantic, semi-casual feel. Perfect for date nights or with friends. Food, service, ambience, all was great. Easy walk to the 3rd st. promenade and the ocean. Great location to meet friends. Will definitely come back.
Best happy hour around in an elegant setting
From the hostess to the server, the bussers, and of course the food, the whole experience was excellent. Loved it and can't wait to return!!
This is a beautiful restaurant with a view of the Fairmont pool. The food is fantastic and the service is impeccable.
Absolutely loved the brunch menu. Never felt rushed, very welcoming.
Great place for brunch in Santa Monica. Service was quick and delightful. Would definitely come back again!
Really good brunch.
Good food, good service.
Birthday, the manager was excellent it accommodating presidents club members, requests. KiM our server was very polite respectful and very efficient
Every time we dine at the Fig, it’s epic.
