Absolutely delicious. From the food to the service, everything was great. Went for brunch for a friends birthday, and they did not disappoint. Even went as so far as to give her a small scoop of complimentary gelato with a candle in it on a plate with "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate, even when we said we were going to skip dessert. Went the extra mile. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice space, it was like eating in someones dining room. The food was so fresh and tasty and was prepared so you can taste what you are eating with the sauce and spices accenting the food and not overpowering it. Service was very fast and friendly, definitely will be going back.

Great food for my wife's birthday. I made the reservation through Open Table and requested a table with water view which they accommodated, then they put a "happy birthday" in fudge on our dessert plate.
Service was great from Christian. Food was outstanding quality with fresh, local ingredients. Excellent sauces and presentation.
Not the cheapest place but well worth it for the quality of service and food.

We've been to the Fifth Season several times and have never been disappointed. The food is delicious, the service is spectacular, and the organic/healthy dish choices make it a fantastic restaurant for variety of different tastes and needs. We had the roasted beet salad, local burrata, pan seared Scottish salmon, and pan seared crescent farm duck - all were delicious!

If there was any drawback I'd say the drink prices could be a bit pricey and the acoustics can be a little loud depending on where you sit. Otherwise, it's one of our favorite places to eat with friends.

The waiter was reassuring that tending to food allergies was not a concern nor an inconvenience. The food was prepared with diligence and was scrumptious. Highly recommended.

We started out with a fine West Coast Cabernet wine promptly brought to the table which we loved. My wife enjoyed the Salmon and the Duck was prepared to perfection by the chef. We have been there several times and have always enjoyed a great experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Plus you are in the middle of Port Jefferson which is awesome!

I came this time with a dining group and we were 11 instead of 12. The staff and especially our server gave us attention as if we were a small table. Food was outstanding and the service was impeccable. I love coming here throughout the year. Not just during the warmer months.

Eggs Benedict for 2 an excellent choice. There were many enticing things on the brunch menu in addition to our choice.
I would like to return to try them all. We had a wonderful time.

As usual a homerun! We all loved every bite. Baby bok choy and swordfish was so yummy and my sister said the gulf shrimp appetizer was a “party in her mouth”. Sadly she did not offer me a bite; but that’s ok I was busy enjoying my beet salad.

I have Celiac Disease and I am never afraid to dine at The Fifth Season. I not only don't ever get glutened I also get to eat really great food. They are very careful with cross -contamination. They even fry the shrimp tempura appetizer in clean oil so I am able to order that and have no issue.

This was a spur of the moment destination. Had eaten there before but mostly that was apps. wasn't impressed that time, but this time it was
amazing! The Corned Beef was like butter and melted in our mouths. I had chicken breast which was delicious. Martinis were good, you could taste the alcohol, service right on. Will go again in the spring or summer.

We had the loveliest date night at The Fifth Season. Great ambience and views, efficient service with a smile, and wonderful food. Chef John is a true artist. We started off with a sublime seasonal scallop appetizer. My wife had the salmon and I had the short ribs - both were among the best we've ever had. The pretzel bread pudding dessert was unbelievable. The cocktail menu deserves a special mention as well, in particular the Snickers martini which tastes uncannily similar to its namesake. The Fifth Season is definitely the best spot for a date night in Port Jeff!

Wedding Anniversary dinner for two. Previously, we always dined here for celebrations and were blown away all around with service, food, ambiance. Regarded Fifth Season as an establishment to be proud of the experience. Unfortunately this time we were completely let down. Bus boy spilled enough water on me I douse my left forearm and thigh and menu. With a comment of “oops, well it’s only water, no harm done.” Then rudely came back singing while he cleared plates and interrupting our conversation. Food was cold duck breast and salmon was dry. And going on at other tables, the other waiter was speaking so loud as if there was a 100 people talking at the same time. To top it off the music playing was just irritating. Doubt we’ll be back!
