Fifth Season is always the right choice when dining in Pt. Jeff Village. Service is top notch - ambiance is warm and welcoming - food is consistent, creative and delicious. Never disappointed!
Our waiter was wonderful Chris G. made a recommendation for my husbands dinner spot on. My salmon was the best I have had since Scottland.
PLACE IS SUPERB!!!The restaurant staff are awesome!! THE Chef is terrific. changes up the menu every two and a half months...keeps you coming back for more..And the location is perfect, across the street from a beautiful water view. The COCKTAILS are scrumptious as well.. Always my go to place for a snack, dinner, and or drinks on the porch!
We had the loveliest date night at The Fifth Season. Great ambience and views, efficient service with a smile, and wonderful food. Chef John is a true artist. We started off with a sublime seasonal scallop appetizer. My wife had the salmon and I had the short ribs - both were among the best we've ever had. The pretzel bread pudding dessert was unbelievable. The cocktail menu deserves a special mention as well, in particular the Snickers martini which tastes uncannily similar to its namesake. The Fifth Season is definitely the best spot for a date night in Port Jeff!
Very nice but a bit over priced
We go here fairly often. My son likes the Kobe burger and we enjoy the seafood and duck. Food and service is very good
Nice room with fireplace, excellent service perfect for a cold rainy night. Food was delicious. We had salmon over risotto; monk fish and potato leek soup.
We are never disappointed when we dine at The Fifth Season. The food is always excellent and the service is exceptional.
Fifth Season never disappoints. Came on a snowy night and enjoyed a hot tasty meal while watching the snow fall. The short rib goulash was amazing. The chicken pot pie empanadas were unique also. Always enjoy the food here.
Food and service were amazing. We went on a Saturday and took advantage off the price fixe menu. The chicken dish was out of this world.
Great food. Nice bar/ lounge area for before or after dinner. Usually some music.
Wedding Anniversary dinner for two. Previously, we always dined here for celebrations and were blown away all around with service, food, ambiance. Regarded Fifth Season as an establishment to be proud of the experience. Unfortunately this time we were completely let down. Bus boy spilled enough water on me I douse my left forearm and thigh and menu. With a comment of “oops, well it’s only water, no harm done.” Then rudely came back singing while he cleared plates and interrupting our conversation. Food was cold duck breast and salmon was dry. And going on at other tables, the other waiter was speaking so loud as if there was a 100 people talking at the same time. To top it off the music playing was just irritating. Doubt we’ll be back!
Though the experience was a bit pricey, I found that I got the quality I paid for at The Fifth Season. The food was fantastic and the service was great. The ambiance was classy and cool, my date and I were able to easily have a conversation. The seating could be a tiny bit more comfortable, but it wasn't bad by any means. Overall, an amazing restaurant.
The food and service were perfect. The whole night was great. Wonderful place to go to eat.
Went for Valentines day. Food was excellent and the waiter was wonderful. Empanada (tiny but awesome), Thai rolls -(a bit spicy but that's what I was hoping for) and filet mignon - all very good. My wife had the Duck and she thought it was great. Pleasantly surprised to find salt and pepper at the table although I didn't need them (it bugs me when restaurants assume I wouldn't want any) . Nice wine list and the markup wasn't too bad. All in all, a real nice evening.
Time between appetizer and entree was much to long. The kitchen was at fault, service was good, food was good. Pre fixed for Valentine’s Day was way over priced.
Great. Waiter was delightful
One of the best dining experiences in Suffolk County. Jazz duo were excellent. Highly recommended!
Very nice place and good food. Noise a little higher than I would like but not overbearing. All in all a nice evening
Had dinner on Saturday night and food was very good, Patrick wS serving us and he was very friendly and efficient.
The food was delicious, lots of variety and the service was impeccable.
We were a party of six on a very rainy week night. The restaurant was not full, which was nice because we were able to talk to each other. We have all been here many times before as it's close to home. This restaurant never disappoints. The food is always fresh, the dishes well presented, and the menu is diverse and interesting with enough choices to satisfy basic to adventurous eaters. On this night, most of us took advantage of a prix fixe that included appetizer, entree, and dessert for about $32. A seasonal sweet potato soup was absolutely delicious. Most of the seating is upstairs in a pleasant room that can get a bit noisy on a busy Saturday night but never overwhelmingly so. The service is always pleasant and attentive.
Excellent as usual
Everything was wonderful as usual. Especially great food and service.
Service & food were amazing, as always. The seasonal drinks were excellent. Some members of our party were gluten-free or vegetarian and there were great options for them too.
Five friends getting together. . . we enjoyed the ambiance, sitting in front of the fireplace on a cold evening. The menu had lots of choices and everything that we ordered was very good. My husband and I shared the charcuterie platter which was excellent. Our waiter, Mark, was one of the best we've ever had (other than really fine dining experiences in NYC). He was attentive, accommodating, and had a good sense of humor. He overheard me comment that the porkbelly was too fatty and brought us some more without our even asking.
Second time here and both times had a lovely meal. I have found my favorite place!
Excellent restaurant for elegant well prepared and tasty food. Menu is relatively limited but specials add to the variety of the every day fare. Appetizer empanadas on fresh lemon sauce was very good. Entrees, duck and scallops were excellent, pared well with mushrooms vegetables. Molten cake was great. Highly recommended place for special or foodie regular dinner.
Never disappointed here and the wait staff is absoulety wonderful.
This was our third time going to fifth season, and we chose to go there for our anniversary. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a nice romantic night. Highly recommended. Amazing food, great service.
Warm and welcoming. Cozy and friendly. Professional and attentive staff. There is an elegance about this beautiful restaurant. Started with a "chicken pot pie" empanada, delicate pastry with a fabulous filling. I couldn't resist the kobe beef burger, for I know it well. My guest, fearful of the soy sauce that accompanied the salmon, loved the rich, brothy sauce without a hint of salt. Banana bread pudding for dessert was incredible. I didn't want to leave my comfy seat near the fireplace. Nicole, best cosmos ever. Mark...what can I say. Lucky are the guests that are seated in your section.
Hadn’t made trip in about a year. Definitely worth the drive! Food was excellent. Our server Patrick was fantastic! From a couple that doesn’t get to escape often, having service like that is truly a pleasure. We will be back soon
Always order the special. And save room for dessert.
We had a very nice, quiet anniversary dinner on a Sunday evening. My wife enjoyed a vegetarian selection and I had roast duck preceded by a potato and leek soup. Both were well prepared and served in a timely manner. We have visited this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed.
Our server Kim was awesome! She was very attentive and explained all of the questions we had about the menu. She was super friendly and made our brunch experience amazing!
The server was very attentive and professional. Food was good although Monkfish was a bit over cooked. Wine was very nice. Ambiance was very nice. In three major indices, 1) food, 2) service and, 3)ambiance/comfort, 10 pts. X 3, score is 7, 10, 8.
The food, service and ambiance were all excellent!
My filet mignon was delicious!! I recommend eating here if you're not on a tight budget.
Great menu. Helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful view of the harbor. Variety of fresh local foods and vegetarian options.
Consistently very good food. Only comment / recommendation - truffle oil is turning into a cliche - don’t use it so much.
