We had the loveliest date night at The Fifth Season. Great ambience and views, efficient service with a smile, and wonderful food. Chef John is a true artist. We started off with a sublime seasonal scallop appetizer. My wife had the salmon and I had the short ribs - both were among the best we've ever had. The pretzel bread pudding dessert was unbelievable. The cocktail menu deserves a special mention as well, in particular the Snickers martini which tastes uncannily similar to its namesake. The Fifth Season is definitely the best spot for a date night in Port Jeff!

Nice room with fireplace, excellent service perfect for a cold rainy night. Food was delicious. We had salmon over risotto; monk fish and potato leek soup.

Fifth Season never disappoints. Came on a snowy night and enjoyed a hot tasty meal while watching the snow fall. The short rib goulash was amazing. The chicken pot pie empanadas were unique also. Always enjoy the food here.

Wedding Anniversary dinner for two. Previously, we always dined here for celebrations and were blown away all around with service, food, ambiance. Regarded Fifth Season as an establishment to be proud of the experience. Unfortunately this time we were completely let down. Bus boy spilled enough water on me I douse my left forearm and thigh and menu. With a comment of “oops, well it’s only water, no harm done.” Then rudely came back singing while he cleared plates and interrupting our conversation. Food was cold duck breast and salmon was dry. And going on at other tables, the other waiter was speaking so loud as if there was a 100 people talking at the same time. To top it off the music playing was just irritating. Doubt we’ll be back!

Though the experience was a bit pricey, I found that I got the quality I paid for at The Fifth Season. The food was fantastic and the service was great. The ambiance was classy and cool, my date and I were able to easily have a conversation.The seating could be a tiny bit more comfortable, but it wasn't bad by any means. Overall, an amazing restaurant.

Went for Valentines day. Food was excellent and the waiter was wonderful. Empanada (tiny but awesome), Thai rolls -(a bit spicy but that's what I was hoping for) and filet mignon - all very good. My wife had the Duck and she thought it was great. Pleasantly surprised to find salt and pepper at the table although I didn't need them (it bugs me when restaurants assume I wouldn't want any) . Nice wine list and the markup wasn't too bad. All in all, a real nice evening.
