Food is wonderful and service is consistently great.
First time at the restaurant. Wait staff was extremely attentive and nice. Very accommodating. Food was excellent. Will definitely return.
We've been to the Fifth Season several times and have never been disappointed. The food is delicious, the service is spectacular, and the organic/healthy dish choices make it a fantastic restaurant for variety of different tastes and needs. We had the roasted beet salad, local burrata, pan seared Scottish salmon, and pan seared crescent farm duck - all were delicious!
If there was any drawback I'd say the drink prices could be a bit pricey and the acoustics can be a little loud depending on where you sit. Otherwise, it's one of our favorite places to eat with friends.
Good food. Good atmosphere. Good service. Would definitely go again.
The waiter was reassuring that tending to food allergies was not a concern nor an inconvenience. The food was prepared with diligence and was scrumptious. Highly recommended.
This is our go to Restaurant ! The service is impeccable and the food is delicious ..they change the menu up every 2 1/2 months.. so we can try new dishes and a variety of food.
We are longtime patrons and ALWAYS enjoy Chef John's creations. Easter was EGGceptional in fact! Love the seasonal changes and look forward to the Spring Menu.
We started out with a fine West Coast Cabernet wine promptly brought to the table which we loved. My wife enjoyed the Salmon and the Duck was prepared to perfection by the chef. We have been there several times and have always enjoyed a great experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Plus you are in the middle of Port Jefferson which is awesome!
All around great experience!
I came this time with a dining group and we were 11 instead of 12. The staff and especially our server gave us attention as if we were a small table. Food was outstanding and the service was impeccable. I love coming here throughout the year. Not just during the warmer months.
Consistently excellent. Another great meal. Food and service were both outstanding.
The experience was wonderful and all the food ordered was delicious. Salmon was cooked perfectly. Our server was extremely attentive.
Eggs Benedict for 2 an excellent choice. There were many enticing things on the brunch menu in addition to our choice.
I would like to return to try them all. We had a wonderful time.
As usual a homerun! We all loved every bite. Baby bok choy and swordfish was so yummy and my sister said the gulf shrimp appetizer was a “party in her mouth”. Sadly she did not offer me a bite; but that’s ok I was busy enjoying my beet salad.
Great good. Great ambiance. It was husband’s birthday and they surprised him with a dessert. It was very nice. Will be back.
As always, the drinks and food were delicious and the service on point! We never get tired of this neighborhood gem.
Always Blessed by Chefs at 5th Season Restaurant.
Their care is visible both in my palate as well as the presentation of each dish.
What a gem it was fabulous loved the views the service the food!
I have Celiac Disease and I am never afraid to dine at The Fifth Season. I not only don't ever get glutened I also get to eat really great food. They are very careful with cross -contamination. They even fry the shrimp tempura appetizer in clean oil so I am able to order that and have no issue.
I love this restaurant. We’ve been there a bunch of times. This was our first time going for brunch and it didn’t disappoint. I definitely recommend this place!
Good service, good food and pretty place. Would highly recommend!
This was a spur of the moment destination. Had eaten there before but mostly that was apps. wasn't impressed that time, but this time it was
amazing! The Corned Beef was like butter and melted in our mouths. I had chicken breast which was delicious. Martinis were good, you could taste the alcohol, service right on. Will go again in the spring or summer.
We ate at the bar. The food was delicious, especially the vegetable sandwich! The wait staff was pleasant, courteous and attentive. One of my favorite places.
Fifth Season is always the right choice when dining in Pt. Jeff Village. Service is top notch - ambiance is warm and welcoming - food is consistent, creative and delicious. Never disappointed!
Our waiter was wonderful Chris G. made a recommendation for my husbands dinner spot on. My salmon was the best I have had since Scottland.
PLACE IS SUPERB!!!The restaurant staff are awesome!! THE Chef is terrific. changes up the menu every two and a half months...keeps you coming back for more..And the location is perfect, across the street from a beautiful water view. The COCKTAILS are scrumptious as well.. Always my go to place for a snack, dinner, and or drinks on the porch!
We had the loveliest date night at The Fifth Season. Great ambience and views, efficient service with a smile, and wonderful food. Chef John is a true artist. We started off with a sublime seasonal scallop appetizer. My wife had the salmon and I had the short ribs - both were among the best we've ever had. The pretzel bread pudding dessert was unbelievable. The cocktail menu deserves a special mention as well, in particular the Snickers martini which tastes uncannily similar to its namesake. The Fifth Season is definitely the best spot for a date night in Port Jeff!
Very nice but a bit over priced
We go here fairly often. My son likes the Kobe burger and we enjoy the seafood and duck. Food and service is very good
Nice room with fireplace, excellent service perfect for a cold rainy night. Food was delicious. We had salmon over risotto; monk fish and potato leek soup.
We are never disappointed when we dine at The Fifth Season. The food is always excellent and the service is exceptional.
Fifth Season never disappoints. Came on a snowy night and enjoyed a hot tasty meal while watching the snow fall. The short rib goulash was amazing. The chicken pot pie empanadas were unique also. Always enjoy the food here.
Food and service were amazing. We went on a Saturday and took advantage off the price fixe menu. The chicken dish was out of this world.
Great food. Nice bar/ lounge area for before or after dinner. Usually some music.
Wedding Anniversary dinner for two. Previously, we always dined here for celebrations and were blown away all around with service, food, ambiance. Regarded Fifth Season as an establishment to be proud of the experience. Unfortunately this time we were completely let down. Bus boy spilled enough water on me I douse my left forearm and thigh and menu. With a comment of “oops, well it’s only water, no harm done.” Then rudely came back singing while he cleared plates and interrupting our conversation. Food was cold duck breast and salmon was dry. And going on at other tables, the other waiter was speaking so loud as if there was a 100 people talking at the same time. To top it off the music playing was just irritating. Doubt we’ll be back!
Though the experience was a bit pricey, I found that I got the quality I paid for at The Fifth Season. The food was fantastic and the service was great. The ambiance was classy and cool, my date and I were able to easily have a conversation. The seating could be a tiny bit more comfortable, but it wasn't bad by any means. Overall, an amazing restaurant.
The food and service were perfect. The whole night was great. Wonderful place to go to eat.
Went for Valentines day. Food was excellent and the waiter was wonderful. Empanada (tiny but awesome), Thai rolls -(a bit spicy but that's what I was hoping for) and filet mignon - all very good. My wife had the Duck and she thought it was great. Pleasantly surprised to find salt and pepper at the table although I didn't need them (it bugs me when restaurants assume I wouldn't want any) . Nice wine list and the markup wasn't too bad. All in all, a real nice evening.
Time between appetizer and entree was much to long. The kitchen was at fault, service was good, food was good. Pre fixed for Valentine’s Day was way over priced.
