Fifi's never disappoints. Great food, very fresh fish that you can have many different ways. Mashed potatoes are delicious!! Try some tostones. Service is great and everyone is very friendly. Our server was great.
Good food...ok service..quaint
I hadn't been here in 5 years and it was everything I remembered. The service was amazing and the lobster bisque was to die.
Excellent seafood, the best in Miami.
Horrible experience will never go back servers are very careless forgot about our order until I reminded them after an hour and still didn't bring got us an awfully tasting salty calamari on the house had to leave at the end and don't pay them a nickle.
I have no idea what happened here but I can honestly tell you Fifi is no longer here. If she was, the place would not be missing their liquor license, it would be full, the food would be awesome instead of over cooked and the staff would be on their toes. Who ever heard of a restaurant in the beach that can't sell wine?
Great seafood restaurant
Great food, but no liquor license (not even wine or beer)
Love the Langoustines. I cannot find giant ones like the have anywhere else in the world.
Excellent food and service!
No wine or drinks available..horrible service. Advertised special appetizers not to be had. Why advertise them as specials? One out of four dinner entrees fifteen minutes later than others. " Your dinner will be out in two minutes". Ten minutes later " Your dinner will be out in two minutes ". Please, it only came out when I told them to forget it and take it of the bill. No apology , no manager . Not returning.
Good as usual, but was unaware that the liquor was taken away last week. According to the server, it is temporary and my husband saved the meal by rushing out and buying a bottle of wine. But it would have been nice to have a heads up.
The owner approached our table, prior to our waiter even delivering water, and berated us after telling us that we were being obnoxious and that he heard we had been there for awhile without any intention of ordering. This was erroneous, disrespectful, and an embarrassment that one would jump to such immediate conclusions. Not only that, he almost refused to apologize, instead offering the poor, flimsy excuse that "The customer is always right" and he was fed "the wrong information." Still the service level was inexcusable.
The food was good, not great, but the overall experience left a poor taste in our whole party's mouth.
Food continues to be good; service continues to be atrocious. They apparently lost their liquor license, and had difficulties collecting credit card payments.
Hoped to find some good shellfish but it was not tasty at all. For the price that we have paid... we expected better food
Freshest sea bass & lobster ever! The flan dessert to die for.
Very good place. Enjoyed it a bunch. Food was top notch and the daily catch was unbelievable.
Consistent good food and service. Excellent location near the ocean...
OK, not very interesting food; acceptable, not very attentive service; limited, kind of OK wine list. My husband's fried fish with rice and beans side was completely unexceptional. My hog snapper had great presentation but bland taste. Our waitress was unenthusiastic. With so many other places to go in Miami Beach, this one isn't worth the time or money.
Excellent food and great service!! Fish is outstanding.. will define go back when we visit the area again;))
Awful Paella Marinera, No Flavor at All, I was expecting a Moist Rice instead I was basically served Wet Rice Ala Soup. Truly disappointed in the Food and Service. I was approached 5 times asking me if I was done. $128.00 Dollars wasted, Best part of The Experience was Leaving...
From the moment we walked in until we left, the rude indifference of the staff - with busboy exception, was striking. the lobster appetizer, described as half a FL lobster tail, had a few small bites- this for $ 28. The shrimp entree, described as "large" shrimp, contained 5 smallish shrimp, tasting of iodine and overlooked. In all fairness, the whole hog snapper was very good and fairly priced. Service was terrible, we had over an hour wait for our entrees, and no one bothered to ask how things were. The initially friendly waiter seemed to disappear.1 dish out of 3 does not a dining experience make. Prices range from high to outrageous including a non- creative wine list. But most notable, no one there seemed to care. Instead of dining with friends in front of us, the owner might want to circulate and find out what her guests are thinking. Her loss- we are residents, not tourists, though no one should be treated with indifference. If you decide to go, keep the menu and check what you get against the description. Check your bill before paying. Take your own wine and pay the $20 corkage fee. The saving is worth it. And do not hesitate to reduce the 18% tip they added to the bill if service is bad. Better yet, go elsewhere.
In a world of chains and tourist locations that are usually overpriced and bland, Fifi's is a welcome neighborhood gem. Loved pretty much everything about it. They don't do over the top - just great solid service and fare.
Great meal on a night out in Miami/Hollywood beach. Stone crab was fantastic as well as the tuna and avocado salad.
Fifi's will always be good. The service and food is outstanding. It is great value and a neighbourhood gem.
Stone crabs were AWESOME! Better than Joe's Stone Crab. In the past, I've always had great paella there...took my out of town guests there for stone crabs and paella. Paella was cold gummy too much rice and not good. I was disappointed. I won't take my out of town guests there again but I will go again with my local friends/family and if I want stone crabs.
I sat outside. Never went inside. Great Food!!!
While they have a limited menu, their whole grilled snapper is good. It's too bad they don't have a more expansive choice of fresh seafood. When the specials are printed and don't change week to week, that's not a special! Also, any seafood restaurant with swai or tilapia on the menu makes one wonder ...
I live across the street and it is my go to for sure when I'm in the mood for Fried whole fish.
We were looking for Hogfish or Hog Snapper in the Miami area. We enjoyed this fish in the past, but had a hard time finding it outside of the keys. Fifi's preparation and presentation was excellent and the price was reasonable. Will return in the future!!
Pleasantly surprised! Seafood Parrillada was excellent!
We were vacationing in Miami and found this gem. Excellent food and service.
The restaurant has great seafood. The service was wonderful. We were lucky to get a table out front.
Always love to come to Fifi's. Fresh fish and seafood. Try the fried whole snapper and the plantains. The seafood soup is a must. A little bit expensive, but the food is very fresh.
Our reservation was at 8 and they took us at 9pm
Exquisite food Great service
Good stone crabs! Nice neighborhood place! Service is very slow but pleasant.
Always good. Great seafood and great service. A "locals" vibe.
It was a nice surprise! Delicious food and a complimentary amazing dessert!
We were staying in Miami Beach and this restaurant was recommended on yelp for seafood… Which was what we were looking for. There were a few tables out front of the restaurant but very close to a busy street and it was a cool night so we ate inside. The restaurant definitely looks fancier from pictures but it was fine for a regular meal. I should say the seafood is amazing… Everything we ordered was great. The waitress however seem like she would rather be partying on South Beach than being a pleasant wait staff person. Also they have only beer and wine no cocktails.
