Field's at the Wilderness
Prime Rib - House Cut
We sat outside on their lovely patio that is multi-tiered and has very relaxing water features to drown out the street noise. The servers were friendly enough but with only two on to serve a crowded patio, it was a little overwhelming for them. We had to wave them down when we needed service. The famous Fields salad was disappointing-too watery but the lobster bisque was outstanding! We both had the rack of lamb and it was not good-hard to cut and chew. I returned mine and got comped for it, which was nice. Then I was asked what to have instead and I chose the salmon. It was average, at best-overdone and it had a Parmesan crust, which was unusual. Had to ask for rolls and wished they came with our salad, but, had to ask for them. The potato was really good with jalapeños on them. Overall, it wasn’t the same dining level Fields used to be and will hesitate to comeback.
Love this restaurant!! We enjoyed our time there food was excellent!!
As always great! Megan-katie tanner super at bar-nice chat with great mgr ryan and to top it off best steak and lobster ever!
Really great. Wait staff was very attentive and professional. The food was wonderful. Very clean and all staff wore masks.
We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and wanted to dine some place special. It was a great experience. The food was amazing and the service was great.
This is an excellent restaurant. Great team wait staff, great food, and lovely buidling. Good music and at a low level so you could carry on a decent conversation. Best place we have been in a long time.
The service was outstanding and the food was great!
The atmosphere is so nice, beautiful setting and ambiance. The wait staff was attentive. We started with an Ahi Tuna appetizer and it was awesome, as was the Lobster Bisque soup. We both were craving steak and that was the only disappointment. They were cooked perfectly, tender and done to the right temperature, but they had zero flavor. Very surprised at the lack of flavor. Thinking this was just a fluke because everything else was so good. Spent some time at the bar after dinner and overall very much enjoyed our night. A little pricey ($200+ for 2) but was expecting to splurge a bit.
This is the best dinner place in the Dells are! Amazing food and service
Food was excellent but the service was even better! We had our 18 month old son with us and they were great with him. We had the tuna appetizer, a filet and prime rib and all was delicious! We will definitely be back when we visit the Dells!
My boyfriend’s steak was way overpriced for the quality. My lamb chops were disgusting, so I sent them back and ordered fried shrimp, which were enjoyable. The servers were friendly and attentive. The outside patio was very nice, however the inside needs major renovations and updating —it looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 1980’s.
The service is fabulous, and so is the food. Nice cocktails as well.
Staff was excellent. Food was incredible.
As always from receptionist to bartenders to servers and management-we choose Fields when we want the best-we are never disappointed!
I have to admit that I was skeptical of a resort restaurant. But this place was amazing. Service was great and the food was excellent. Even our kids thoroughly enjoyed their meals. If you’re looking for a great steak place, this is it.
Let’s see, main course and supper was fantastic. However when it can’t to desert it was wrong two times and we even pointed to the server what we wanted both times. He said “ okay okay” came out with the wrong thing twice. So we decided screw it paid and left.
Wasn't sure what to expect with the location and seemed to be tied to a hotel/resort. Building was separate and nice. Food and service was great!
The food was outstanding! The server was very pleasant and attentive to our needs.
Visit Fields many times, great food, staff and ambiance
We came in from out of town for our wedding anniversary. Food was great altho the risotto was a little bland. Service was a bit lacking over all it was wonderful.
My family and I had a wonderful experience at the Field's. The ambiance was beautiful and we enjoyed the architecture. Our service was top notch, and the food was absolutely mouth watering. Some of the best steak, lobster, and salads I've experienced in the Midwest. They even brought out an ice cream sundae for my step daughter's birthday. Everyone commented how awesome the food was and how much they enjoyed it. The cost is very reasonable for the high quality of the food. Lots of options on the menu. Something for everyone. Our family will definitely be back.
Great service and food. Waitress was attentive. Will definitely be back.
Great outdoor dining on the patio!
Love the local menu, felt bad they mixed up a New York strip for my sons prime rib.
The ambience of this restaurant was surreal. The attention of the staff was very warm and welcoming. The food was absolutely EXQUISITE! I cannot wait to visit again soon!
Not very enjoyable to see a dead bird outside your window while you're eating. My dinner was great but water features being broken down, not being able to hear the waiter and deceased wildlife in the window brought our experience down
Beautiful patio...food is uninspired and overpriced.
This is a gem! Food always good and service is wonderful. From the minute you walk in the door, you know this is not your ordinary restaurant. Service is impeccable. Before dinner we went and at in the bar and with a great ambiance. We will defintely eat here again.
My fiance and I went to Field's to enjoy a nice dinner together, and we got it! Food and service were both excellent. Really liked the interior, reminded me of a church. I would go back.
Everything from the service to the food was excellent! First time here and we would definitely come back.
Fabulous food with great service. One of the best places to eat in the Dells.
The food, service and the entire dining experience was very good. We all enjoyed our food. Moderate prices, I love that the meal came with salad and starch. A good value!!!
Everything about the visit to fields was amazing. From the hostess welcoming you in to the waitress taking care of you and the thank you as you walk out.
This is the classiest restaurant in the area. I wish they would enforce a dress code. Shorts and a t-shirt are not appropriate but seem to be the uniform of the day. Very sad.
Food and service were very good. However the dinning chairs were horrible. Very low and on wheels
We were so impressed with the food and staff. It was a wonderful experience.
The seafood was so good, specifically the lobster as well as the oyster feature! I recommend this fine dining experience to any group looking for a nice, long dinner full of great food and wine!
Great food with exceptional service. I definitely recommend dining at Field’s at the Wilderness!
