I asked for a quiet booth, the location was great. Waitstaff were attentive without being obnoxious. The dessert was the best cheesecake my wife and I had ever eaten.

We come to Field's for our anniversary most years and are never disappointed.

This was great. The hostesses servers all had face coverings. Tables were separated by empty tables. The servers were very nice and the food was wonderful. This is a real jewel in the Dells area.

It was not as nice at online portrays the restaurant to be. The food was not at the level of its high price. “The Patio” was less than impressive compared to the pictures and description online. It was a disappointment in general. Doubtful for a second visit.

Ive been to this place a few times and I’ve never had such poor service in my life. Servers were inattentive and indifferent, making us feel unwelcome each time. Food very average for a “Premier” steakhouse. I had low expectations coming back, especially with covid restrictions, but they still failed to meet those. Too many other great places in the area to waste time/money here.

Food was excellent! Service was fine. However, they didn't tell our group of all the up charges. They offered us options as if they were included and they weren't so I was very disappointed in that. It really dampened our experience.

Wonderful anniversary dinner tradition! We look forward to celebrating our anniversary each year at Field's. The lobster bisque, Wilderness Salad and salmon are the best! Great selection of wines, swanky atmosphere and excellent service. We will be back!

We go to Fields at least 4 times a year and we have never been disappointed. My wife loves sea food and I love their filets. Highly recommended.
Yes cost is hight but so is their quality.

Great food and service. We ate there soon after Field's could begin serving as Wisconsin started to open up, and being in a dining room with only 25% capacity (and masked wait staff) is sort of sci-fi. But everything we ate and everyone we dealt with was top-notch.

This is the kind of place where they put your napkin in your lap at the beginning and give you scented hot towels at the end. Yet, they did not complain about our 10 year old’s lack of sophistication, nor our tee shirt and jeans attire. Great place for a great meal.

The food was amazing and the staff was very courteous, friendly, and accommodating. I wish I would have had room for dessert because the Butter Brickle Torte sounded amazing. Would definitely eat here again.

Food was very good and atmosphere lovely. Service was good but mostly handled by young "helpers". Lead waiter for our table took drink and food orders only, the rest was handled by helpers. Helpers were very professional but I didn't see the lead waiter again until he delivered the check. We went early so it wasn't a matter of him being busy... It was strange.

Field’s is our favorite place for our special dinners. As usual the service, food and ambience were outstanding.

One of the best dinners my wife and I have in a long time. I had the bone in filet and my wife had the special which was a filet with some sort of mushroom sauce, both were absolutely delicious you could cut my filet with a fork and great flavor. We had great service (I wish I would have asked the waitress her name she was amazing). Can't wait to go back!

Everything was great except that my date and I both ordered the same steak prepared the same way. Hers was perfect mine was overcooked. Other than that, very nice.

OUTSTANDING performance on Saturday night. Sez who you ask?

I travel and eat out... a lot. Plenty of client dinners and events all over the world. So I have some experience. The performance that the staff at Field's put on Saturday night was among the very best in recent memory. My wife and I eat there relatively often when in the Dells (maybe 1-2 times per year) but this was the first time for our good friends. We wanted it to be good and Fields exceeded in every dimension.

1) Start ambiance.... walking in the door you are stuck with how beautiful the place is. Warm and friendly, dark(ish) and cozy. There was a bustling crowd there on Saturday but nothing crazy. Met at the door (they opened it for us) by the hostess. Very friendly. We checked in early for our reservation because....

2) The Bar.... one of the main reasons I love Fields. Great bar, great service. Very good martini. For our guests they have some specials but this is in general a great place to stop and have a casual drink before heading to the table.

3) The Table …. seated by the window. Beautiful (snowy) view. Team staffing means high level of attentiveness, but not intrusive. Extremely friendly, answer your questions, make recommendations where needed. Share something about themselves (but not too much).

4) The Food.... Outstanding. I am famously picky about steaks. When I say "medium rare" I actually mean it. They get it right! In terms of quality for value, it was almost laughable. In fact, we did kind of laugh at the end of the night when we saw the bill and reflected on how often we had paid far more for far less (it was still a few hundred for the four of us, but we hardly held back ordering).

5) The Service..... so good that I actually sought out the manager on a bathroom stop to congratulate him. Just phenomenal. Something to be proud of.

Overall, I don't go out of my way to do reviews but the whole experience was so great I just had to. CONGRATS to all of you!!

Excellent service, presentation, and food.

My favorite restaurant hands down.

Have been to this restaurant several times over the past 20 years and the service and food are always very good. The ambiance however is very dated and is showing wear. Carpet is bulged up in some areas and almost dangerous. Varnish is coming off wood design elements throughout the place. Everything in the restaurant is from the 80’s and while that doesn’t affect the food or service it does make it less special and less worth the prices on the menu, since part of what I pay for when I go out to eat is the atmosphere. Overall still a great place to eat. Just won’t be my go to for a “special dinner” anymore.

My salmon was very good, and the seafood sauce made it excellent. My wife loved her broiled shrimp on fettuccine with lobster cream sauce. And to top it off, we split an added lobster tail! Delicious! The service is always professionally top notch.
