Ravioli i is amazing!!! Staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
We visited Fiamma after an event at MGM. Our group ordered two different types of salads and both were very good. Portions are small though, so don't plan to share. Main course entrees were Gouda Mac and Cheese, Chicken Parm, and seafood pasta. The chicken parm was average at best, the other dishes were good. Service on the other hand was awful with long waits between seeing anyone to assist with requests. Also, the server wasn't intuitive. One of our group shared a dish and the server brought no extra plate. When requested, it took nearly 10 minutes to bring a plate back. The server also cleared all of the utensils from one guests setting then delivered food and it too took 10 minutes and an ask from another server to get something to eat with. Maybe it was just a bad night, but we wouldn't give them a second chance.
The only bummer is that the restrooms are not in the restaurant and not all that close--through the casino. The pear endive salad was pretty great, the sea bass was just ok. Pretty expensive for standard fare.
This was my second visit to FiAMMA Italian Kitchen and must say overall it was good but could use some major service improvements. It took 90 minutes to have a one course meal on a Tuesday night (although restaurant was very busy). I could forgive that if not for having to flag down a server to get a drink refill twice. I passed on dessert and just asked for the check since I knew that would take another hour. The positive was that the lasagne bolognese entree was very good. Overall, I would skip this restaurant next time I need to dine in MGM Grand.
Very good meal. They were able to accommodate a party of 8 the day of since we forgot to make reservations. Server was awesome.
Business meal. Erratic service. Some meals were very small portions some were large
Very nice dining experience with great attention to detail. A bit pricey for pasta, but a worthy expenditure.
Caleb was a very nice gentlemen that stopped by the table several times to make sure we were taken care of.
We were seated near the front so it was loud as we could hear the casino and other bars, and smell the smoke too.
Wine list was great and food was awesome!
Our waiter Joseph (sp?) was amazing and well versed with the food items on the menu. We asked him several questions and he was able to answer them all.
The salads were great and the encore was something that we had never tried but was so flavorful and just the right amount of spice!
An unexceptional meal
Very nice evening before seeing a show. The wine specialist was on point 100%.
Very tasty food. Friendly and attentive staff.
Amazing food, wonderful service! Had this place recommended to us and it was the highlight of the trip!
Very fresh authentic meal. Worth taking the time.
Excellent food, both steak and pasta got 5 stars all over!
Food and service was excellent. Price was reasonable and sound level was conducive to business conversation.
Food was amazing. Wine also great but overpriced. Service was also excellent.
Josip was our server and from his recommendations to his attentiveness, he made our dinner exquisite! Food was perfect and very accommodating for allergies. We will definitely return when we make our way back to Vegas.
Was there on my own. Food lacks the last detail and finish. Menu is great and promising. Taste is fine, texture (with exception of dessert) could be worked on. An example is the pasta with lobster. Pasta a bit over cooked, but lobster fine. Could be so a great dish and taste-wise it was spot on
Nice place to have some good Italian, though portions were rather small, we still had a good time and dinner.
Excellent service, great ambiance and very well prepared food, will definitely be back!
Superb food and service, well worth a visit! I was hungry for Italian and am thrilled that I chose a great site with high quality food!
I booked a reservation for a friends birthday dinner bacause this is the restaurant he chose out of the thousands in Vegas. Upon arrival I double checked with the hostess that she received the memo about our celebration and she assured me she did. Our birthday boy did not want special recognition so we had to keep quiet about it at the table. When our deserts came no recognition at all! My girlfriend told him and his wife to go ahead and we would stay and pay the bill so I could speak to the waitress (Erica). On the subject of our waitress, she barely stopped by to check on us during the 3 course meal and someone else delivered 2 out of 3 of our courses (she delivered desert). I asked her if she was informed that we were celebrating a special occasion and she responded no. I informed Erica that I double informed the hostess as we came in on top of the reservation. At this time the hostess was goner for the night bit Erica's response left much to be desired, She got rather loud and agitated saying if I knew I would have thrown a candle in it no problem over and over. This is a response I would expect from a fast food chain not an elegant well known Vegas Italian Cuisine Restaurant. The food was excellent but the service left a bad taste in my mouth!
We went early so it was not crowded but it is in a busy area of the casino so you will get some noise. Everyone loved their meal. Good stop before a show!
Hostess had an attitude problem (our dinner res was for Mon 3/5 at 7 pm and she wasn't the one that was pregnant who was actually very friendly) and then her sour mood put us in a bad mood to start off the dinner night. We were celebrating my father's 70th bday so I got custom Sprinkles cupcakes and asked if she could take it in the back and she goes "Sorry...unfortunately we don't do thaaaatttt..." and walked away. W-O-W.
Service started off non-existent for the first 15 minutes but our server, Reid, apologized because he was tending to another table and after that was pretty attentive. I would say if it weren't for him, we probably would have walked out of the restaurant already in a sour mood from the hostess.
Drinks were UBER expensive $17-$19 ea. For the $ we paid, I was expecting mind explosion but dinner tasted like something that you would get at Maggiano's. Calamari was good but standard. My special dish black squid ink pasta was "meh" and I needed parm to help it taste better. The kid's bucatini pasta dish with one meatball was just "ok". Only the cioppino was worth getting.
The server did a great job bringing out the bday dessert, but the helper who brought it out was going to give it to my husband and the server quickly diverted him to the right male at the table. When we broke out the cupcakes, the server handed our check and thanked us, but gently told us technically we weren't supposed to have outside food. At least he was super nice about it in comparison to the bitter hostess (you can see how upset I still am from my experience with her).
Overall, hostess started our night off on the wrong foot, service started off slow but finally got better, and the food was OVERLY expensive for what we got in terms of taste and quality. Our bill was $300+ for 5 adults and 2 toddlers. I rather spend $550 for the AMAZING meal we had at Momofuku the night before and the service was top notch. Won't be dining here again or at another MGM restaurant.
Pasta with bbq sauce is not good - $35 for a bowl of pasta is crazy especially if it’s not good . The service was great however .
Number in party increased but they accomadated us with ease. The place was practically empty when we arrived but quickly filled. The service was good, and the food excellent. First time there, but will definitely be back.
The food was good but not great. I didn’t find it good value. Overpriced.
Had dinner with our two young children. Service was incredibly slow but the food was good as usual.
had a wonderful meal at FiAMMA ! the food was so delicious & the wine even better. we were served promptly & made it to our show of plenty of time. The staff was very attentive & informative. i look forward to another trip to Las Vegas so we can have another wonderful meal at FiAMMA!!
While the food was excellent, the options for children was very limited. When we arrived on time for our reservation, we still were asked to wait for our table for 10 minutes, even though the restaurant was nearly empty.
Lastly, the food prices were too high.
Perfect meal for us. Steak was perfection, Mealtballs were to die for. They were happy to get out meal out to us in time for our show reservation. Great service...
We have been to Fiamma many times, usually not for business. We were treated very well by the hostess, restaurant manager and our server Josip. We had 2 of the specials offered that evening scallops with polenta and Fusilli pasta with truffles. They cheerfully changed the polenta to spaghetti, and all of the dishes were great. Two of their signature dishes the Cioppino and the short rib stuffed ravioli were excellent. We all cleaned our plates.
Everything was excellent, food, service and ambiance. Thanks Fiamma
Ravioli was awesome!
Entire evening was exceptional
Our server was very rude. Food was delicious though.
Excellent dinner with great service. Waitress went above and beyond... Wine list is good with great options
Chicken parm was dry and sent it back.
Service was extremely slow
