Fiamma Grille Ratings and Reviews
Excellent food. Steak was of highest quality to compete with any of the hundred I have eaten over the years. The place was jammed with holiday events and managed to pull off decent service. I live over an hour away and am returning again next week for another business dinner. Very impressive.
Very nice ambience! Seated promptly (had reservation). Great service, no mistakes or problems at all. Delicious cocktails, decent salads, really excellent entrees.
The dessert we shared (a slice of bumpy cake) looked very appealing but, alas, was not noteworthy (gritty chocolate icing).
We'd definitely return here again.
We decided late in the day to have dinner at Fiamma Grille, after cancelling another reservation because of their reviews. We had the very BEST server, Gail, and even the young man who assisted her was delightful. Sorry I missed his name.
Dinner was excellent, and a nice addition to our evening, celebrating our 61st wedding anniversary.
Husband and I decided to come here for dinner after checking out the menu online. It was definitely our kind of food and we were pleasantly surprised to hear live music when we arrived (guitar & sax). We sat in an opposite dining area from where the music was playing in the bar area, which was perfect as it was the perfect volume. We could hear it and still have a conversation at a normal volume.
The service was very good and our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was very good and it was nice that the restaurant served small plates, as well as entrees. We ordered the beef tenderloin & mushroom small plate as an app, which was phenomenal and I ended up ordering that again as my entree. It was that good! Husband ordered a fish dish, which was also very good.
Overall It was a very nice dining experience and I look forward to returning!
Second time eating here, we love their filet. My rare steak, this time, was slightly overcooked, but still delicious. Cooked to perfection on my previous visit. One of the few places around that cook my wife's steak perfect every time. The calamari is a great starter and the service is fantastic.
Food was fantastic. If I have to say anything negative, the green beans were cooked properly, but sadly, no flavor/seasonings. Rolled them in my au jus from my steak to give them a little flavor.
Service by Mike was spot on. He was always checking on us to be sure all was good. He made sure our wine glasses were never empty.
If you like scallops then order the scallops. They are the best you will ever have .... anywhere!
If you like brussel sprouts then don't order the brussel sprouts - they are served in a salty gravy.
Every dish I have chosen at Fiamme Grille has been outstanding.
Dinner date on the weekend. Got a reservation within an hour of looking for the restaurant online. The menu is limited, luckily they had a steak special that saved the day. Zip sauce with mushrooms over risotto with asparagus.
The meal was slow in coming to our table even though the restaurant was not crowded. The server and then the manager apologized and our dessert was comped.
The asparagus on my plate was sickly in appearance, yellowy brown and limp, whereas my wife's was green fresh and rigid. Hard to imagine the kitchen let two vastly different plates go to the same table?????!!!!
I ordered my steak Medium and my wife ordered hers Medium Well. When they arrived, hers was pink and mine was bordering on well. As discreetly as possible we simply switched the steaks and went on with our meals. Do they have an expediter in the kitchen? Perhaps they need to bring one aboard?
Timing, asparagus and temperature issues aside the rest of the meal was delicious.
We hadn't been here for a few years, but I wanted a big steak for my birthday and listed some great options. The rib eye was huge, and it was exceptional. Service was very good. Some places in Plymouth are so noisy you can't hold a conversation. It was nice and cozy in Fiamma, yet still with a nice view of the street life. Great choice, and we won't wait so long to visit again.
Great food and great waitstaff! The only problem I always seem to find are the hostesses. You'll end up waiting a good amount of time before you're even greeted and they're not friendly. I had reservations and the hostess tried seating us at the bar, unacceptable.
