Food was great as well as the service. The part NOT GREAT was a family came in with a toddler and a baby. The toddler banged silverware and the baby cried. I spoke to the hostess as we were leaving and they didn’t say or do anything for us. Completely unacceptable in a restaurant like Fiamma.
Lobster bisque without lobster? Mostly rue and corn starch 😕. Overall below average food quality for price.
The food was very good and we were able to dine outside which was nice. However, there was an overly aggressive waiter who kept asking if we were done which we were not. We all looked ar each other and asked what was wrong with him. Then 2 of us were taking the rest of our dinners home which he boxed but when asked if he had a bag he came back and dropped it on the table like it had been a bother for him. We had a waitress who was fine . Our friend was so turned off by this guy he said he wouldn’t go back. We have been there before and did not experience the bad service we had the other night.
The food was delicious and our server was very friendly and knowledgeable.
All in all, Fiamma Grille was nice. My wife and I enjoyed our meals and drinks, but the cheese board was lacking. It was overpriced for a basic selection of cheese and crackers. I would not recommend it. We sat on the patio, which was lovely, but felt rushed as the bread was quickly followed by the appetizer and then salads. I would try it again, but would hope for a better pacing on our dining experience.
Great place to go if Compari’s area is filled up already. Outside people watching is great.
As always, a wonderful meal --- this time on a Sunday which happened to be prime rib night. Our friend enjoyed the prime rib and we all enjoyed the quiet! Their was a guitarist who played quietly in the main dining room. A favorite of mine is the brushetta --- unusual and very tasty.
We had anniversary and nothing done appetizers were cold waitress was very inattentive. We had to ask for bread 3 times. She also said there was only one chicken dish and they couldn’t accommodate one of us. She suggested the halibut that was plain and dry. Not great experience
It was ok, nothing spectacular. Overpriced, but it’s downtown Plymouth, so that’s what you get. Food was good but nothing I felt I had to go back for again.
Service was slow, server forgot our drinks, had to ask multiple times. We both felt sick later that night and into the next day...
Wonderful meal. We love this restaurant.
Great atmosphere, service and food!
Our waiter, Jeff, was outstanding. Would like a Fiamma in Portland.
My husband and I love fiamma! We’ve always experienced excellent service and the food never ceases to amaze us! Highly recommend the fiamma risotto! ❤️
We had out of town guests and we wanted to show them how beautiful Michigan can be! Especially downtown Plymouth..our experience was wonderful as always
We sat outside on a beautiful evening which was being enjoyed by many folks. The noise level was a bit high due to occasional muscle car sound and a Pilates class being conducted in the park across the way! However, none of that really affected our very good experience with the food and service from the restaurant.
Great food, fast friendly service with good prices.
Met up with a family member who we haven’t seen in a year.
Food was not made to order and service wasn’t overly friendly. Just took the order and walked away. No offer to remake the filet.
Scallops were amazing! Our server Gail was professional and experienced! Loved everything about this place!
We are frequent patrons of Fiamma Grille and there are good reasons. We generally sit at the bar and the value for the bar menu is outstanding. The food is always delicious and the service is top notch! The owners and managers are friendly and welcoming. They always thank us for coming.
32nd wedding Anniversary
I have been coming to Fiamma for over 10 years, brought family and friends there, and had work event there. The meal my husband and I had on Saturday was the first seriously disappointing meal we have had. I had the halibut special at $30 and I cook fish a lot better than that. It was dry and therefore tough. I told our waitress who said she would inform the Chef. As we got no credit for it I'm wondering if that communication happened. My husbands steak, a choice he often makes and is usually delighted with, was below par and not what he is used to. We spent $150 for the two of us on a meal we wouldn't be pleased with if we had cooked it ourselves. Fiamma's dessert menu has always been uninspiring; you could definitely step that up considering the caliber of restaurant you claim to be. Seriously disappointing and we won't be coming back for a long time.
Food was delicious. We had the 8 oz Angus sirloin steak and the Chicken Saltimbocca. The Chicken was not bad at all it was very good, but the steak was incredible.
The service was good. Waiters were polite and responsive. Perfect location right on Main st and on Fridays you can listen to the music being played at the park while you eat.
A great special place which takes advantage of the freshness of the other two restaurants in the same location: Compari's and The Sardine Room. They are all super, but The Fiamma Grille is the class of Plymouth.
Ate outside on the patio. Food and ambience were nice. Had a new server who was training so service was not the best. Disappointing since we came from out of town to celebrate with friends and usually have a fabulous experience.
Food was better than expected but could be improved
Incredible , peaceful ambiance. Great place for a date or a relaxing dinner. The food was delicious - beautifully prepared and plated. The service was friendly and attentive. My needs were met throughout the meal.
Loved it and will be back
We love going to Fiamma Grille. My husband loves to get the Piedmontese filet and he's never disappointed!
I've been to Fiamma Grille a couple of times. Although our entrees were very good, this was not our best experience primarily due to 2 things: the lackluster service and the bread. The waitress came to our table when we sat and was very pleasant....so we thought it was going to be a great experience. But after the introduction, we rarely saw her or received any attention from her. We ordered drinks immediately, but after that, we waited 10-15 minutes before placing our appetizer order, and then another 15 minutes before ordering our dinner. We also did not see her during our meal. In regards to the bread, we went through our first basket quickly, so asked for another. 10 minutes went by and we still had not received it. So, I asked our waitress again. 5 minutes later she came out with a basket of what looked to be bread SCRAPS (no kidding). It felt like they took scraps from other tables, threw them in the basket and served it to us. I was a bit shocked and asked for a new basket from the person who was filling our water glasses, which he did.
The food was great. There service was great. The ambiance was great.
Unfortunately it took over 10 minutes for someone to come over and take our drink order. They came over after I Asked to other servers to get cocktails at our table. Our waitress never gave us the specials. The only reason I knew there were specials it’s because I heard her give them to the other table. Extremely disappointed
Great service and great quality food. Ambiance noise was very low, excellent to have a private conversation
We went here for my girlfriends birthday and the service was absolutely terrible.
I never had the opportunity to dine. When I arrived, I stood at the host desk being ignored by staff for about 4 minutes before a man came out from the back and said they were closed. I explained I had booked on open table and then closing early was not indicated. He went on to say that they had a party in the morning. Not sure what this had to do with my 10:30pm reservation @ 10:25pm. There were patrons in restaurant at the bar and tables. Very disturbing that I was denied service.
Very attentive service. Wonderful bar! Quiet enough to carry on an actual conversation.
