Fets Whisky Kitchen
We love our whisky and cook with it every chance we get: Southern Fried Chicken with whiskey chicken gravy, Makers Mac’n Cheese and natural pork back ribs with our house made 40 Creek BBQ sauce are a few of our whisky infused entrees.
Some of our Southern influenced dishes are: Jambalaya and Rosemary French Toast with Fried Chicken and maple syrup.
We use local free run chicken and eggs, house made organic burgers and Oceanwise seafood.
Fets Whisky Kitchen has been a family owned and operated establishment since 1986. We are Vancouver’s Premier Whisky Bar with nearly 800 different bottlings and Vancouver's home of The Scotch Malt Whisky Society
Very personable table server, fresh vegetables cooked nicely (not overcooked as is common), ribs and poultry were tasty and moist, good serving size, enjoyed peach crumble for dessert.
Great brunch location, good patio, healthy portions and good southern comfort food. Menu changes frequently, so check before you book.
Great for the whiskey lover, a wide selection of single malts for any taste palate.
The server was attentive to dietary requirements and checked a number of time to ensure our needs were being met.
Deffinantly a spot to revisit, on my next trip to Vancouver.
Great service, food & ambience for my birthday party! Thumbs up!
Food was great, service was incredible, selection was amazing, will definitely return
It's a cozy spot with good service, a wide selection of cocktails and decently priced wines, and good food (burgers are stellar).
Great location on the Drive. Food was decent and the service was fast and friendly
Nice menu, nice ambiance, outstanding service. Definitely the place to go if you covet Whiskeys as the loft is well stocked.
Great Service, Wonderful food! Lots of fun! Totally recommend for breakfast - and dinner!
Food is so good-OMG the Shrimp & Grits!! Our server Angela was awesome, she is an asset to Fet’s! Thanks for a great evening!
Very cool whiskey bar with a nice menu of southern style cuisine. We went for brunch and it was very good. I feel a little conflicted in talking it up too much because it will just become another impossibly difficult place to get into on a Sunday morning. I am going to go back for an evening flight of whiskey, of which the selection is likely the best in the city!
Great selection of hard to find whiskey and the servers are knowledgeable
We made a reservation, it was ready when we got there. Not too busy at all, server arrived right away, our group showed up gradually but server kept up with the people arriving. Drinks ordered, food ordered, everything showed up quickly enough, food was good for all of us. First time there for some of our group of 8 and they were very interested in the whiskey collection. The music could have been a little quieter but definitely a happy group when we left. Have been there before and will go again.
Went there on a Sunday night at 7pm. Very nice. Not too busy. Service and food was good. Cool place to hangout and have an easy supper and a chat.
High tables feel about 10 inches apart, it feels as though you are at dinner with the people next to you and can hear every bit of their conversation. Poor service and only got served drinks at the very beginning and very end of our meal, lots of time spent with an empty glass.
One of my favourite restaurants on The Drive. In my mind one of the most under rated little outdoor patios in Vancouver. In the sunshine as the sun is setting is perfect. Great for people watching. Fortnum's Scotch Egg is my must have every time I dine there. Service is always solid.l
My brunch dish Andouille Hash was awesome. One of my friends ordered the Caramelized onion omelette with arugula, she was impressed with her meal. She left 3/4 of her meal on her plate. The onions certainly were not caramelized and most of the arugula was yellow. She was very disappointed. We don't make it a habit to complain therefore didn't mention it to the server. I myself would definitely revisit this restaurant for the hash. Cheers.
I loved this place! Great service, delicious food, and a huge whiskey selection if that's your thing (I didn't drink at all, but it was impressive). It wasn't too loud even though it was very busy, so I was able to catch up with an old friend.
Excellent whisky selection with one in particular we've had a hard time finding (The Irishman). Food, service, ambiance are all great.
Good in general except coffee taste like pure water. Or may be I shouldn’t order coffee in a pub 😁
Great service and cocktails. Starter of crab cakes was excellent but the main I had (the fish dish) was totally over cooked. My dinner companions had the ribs and said they were very tasty especially the hash they were served on.
Waiter was awesome. Food was beautifully presented
Good food, decent beer selection and excellent selection of spirits and cocktails. Service was solid.
Good service, food was tasty, interesting array of drinks, overall atmosphere quite pleasant.
Lovely servers and bar tender that let us take our time when I was catching up with an old friend, didn’t feel rushed. Delicious drinks and food.
A great evening of burgers and scotch. Will definitely be back.
Food was over salty, and I like salt! They were out of our selected/advertised beer. We were asked to leave upon paying our bill, not allowing us to linger/socialize, so that they could seat more guests. Next time I won't pay the bill as promptly.. better yet, there won't be a next time to a place that shows quiet, respectful patrons the door.
Service was great but the food was much spicer then we expected. The best part of the meal was the $7 corn fritters apps, they were awesome!
NEVER GO HERE. Food was average, drinks alright. Terrible service from the manager and owner. Messed up food order, attitude when brought to their attention. Tried to make me pay for it. If I could give less than one star I would. I enjoy going out to eat a lot, and usual give good reviews. But Fets was a terrible experience, food and drinks. I do not recommend.
Great all around evening
Went with a group of 8. Everyone’s meal was fantastic and service was excellent!
Great servise and food, would be great to see added options provided this didn't replace the existing yummy food.
This was our second time visiting Fets Whisky Kitchen and we enjoyed it just as much the second time round. My husband had the Southern Fried Chicken and loved it while I tried the William Charles Veggie Burger. It was delicious but found the portion too large for me. There was a great selection of whiskey drinks and the wine with dinner was good and reasonable. We'll definitely be back!
Accommodated our group of 8 ! Assisted with our scotch/whiskey choices .This was my 4th visit ,each time was great .....we will return .....many more Whiskey/Scotch selections to try .
Fantastic atmosphere! The"stairway to heaven" - the ladder for the floor-to-ceiling collection of whiskey (and other) bottles above the bar - so cool! The place has a great relaxed feel of a favourite neighbourhood hang-out. The service was excellent, our party of 5 had fun and the food was mostly good. The one little thing that wasn't so great - and it was a BIG one little thing: the fish and chips were "fishy". Translation: not fresh. My husband should have sent the dish back. Instead his tendency to be too nice and not rock the boat led to an upset stomach all night long and into the next day. We will definitely go back, but will not touch the fish with a ten foot pole!
First time at the Kitchen. Very impressed by Whisky selection and overall ambience. Our server, Angela, was excellent and very helpful.
What a selection of Whiskey's! Phenomenal! Food was excellent with creative dishes and great presentation. Well done!
Always great food, great service, and great whiskey.
Food was good and reasonably priced. Will return.
This was a family birthday brunch. Loved that brunch reservations are accepted. So many places don't do reservations and can make it really hard for larger groups. Our server was awesome. So nice . Our food was very good, my only complaint was the biscuit that comes with the eggs benny, it was too rich when combined with eggs and hollandaise . A plain biscuit may be better. The place is warm and cosy , just found the music way to loud for a Sunday morning. Made it hard to talk to others at the table. Would definitely go back!
