Festival Buffet – Foxwoods Resort Casino
Tables too close together. People passing bumping into our table. Only 2 cashiers when entering..very slow process. Hostesses seating prople were in no rush to accomodate the long line of people. Food was ok.
Food was much better than most buffets. Great service and lots of choices.
Terrible worst food ever
The service was good but the quality of the food has dramatically decreased over the years. Sad that they can charge so much and the quality is so poor.
Food was good deserved was horrible
I love buffets but I was soooo disappointed. The food was very bland. I would not suggest this place at all
Went for Thanksgiving, delicous choices! Great bargain!
It seemed that the food was out for hours before we got there and it was cold and tasteless.
Too much "Processed food" prefer fresh and foods that are not full of junk
We had a great dinner ,servers were excellent especially with my two daughters
food was terrible. presentation of the food was also terrible. i knew what to expect from a buffet but this didn't even live up to that expectation.
First time making open table reservation, worked great. It was for 6:30 and we were taken at that time and seated. We were 4 adults and 4 children and everyone enjoyed the food. Our waiter was very good about removing used plates and getting drinks.
The food was good and plentiful. We went for breakfast. The omelette station was excellent. The employee was quick and very efficient.
Managers and waitresses and waters always have a smile. Food remains the same - Good! Best bang for your buck at the Casino. Thank You
Managers greet with a smile. Waiters and waitresses give great service. Food is great. Price is reasonable.
Nice and friendly Managers, waiters and waitresses. Good variety of food. Best bang for your buck.
The food was mediocre it was not what I expected the price was okay
Our party of 15 enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. Many choices for everyone. Thank you so much.
Went there for a simple date night, wouldn't necessarily recommend it but it was quaint.
The food was pretty bad. We ate there for breakfast, and everything was extremely greasy. The "pastries" were old and stale like something you'd get on the discount rack at Walmart. The service was good, and the dining area was clean.
I wasn't overly impressed. From the lines that form for this restaurant, I was expecting to be completely blown away. The BBQ section was an eyesore...food looked old and dried out. The food I did have was good but I didn't feel there was an overwhelming selection of the food to pick from. If you're a fan of the buffet and hate the long wait in line...make a reservation and skip right to the front. I felt it was way over-priced for what you got.
Price is higher than Mohegan Sun buffet and nowhere near as good.
I can't wait to go to the Festival Buffet whenever I go to Foxwoods. The food is great and the selection is fantastic. Never had a bad meal there. Highly recommend the Festival Buffet at Foxwoods.
I was so impressed with the fantastic service I actually left and went to my hotel room which was gorgeous to get more money to tip carol . forgive me if I have the name wrong but I'm the guy who tried to tip on my room charge I had blew my money in the slots. So I actually left mid meal because I always tip generously when the service was outstanding. Typically all casino buffet all the same but with the friendly beautiful people at festival buffet it just makes foxwoods outstanding. Way to go.
We have been to many buffets at casinos, and this is one of the better ones. The brunch offered lots is variety. The food was fresh and quite tasty.
Food is always great. Go there every time I go to Foxwoods. Never a disappointment
Best bang for the buck at casino !
This place always has a long line on weekends, so we assumed it's good. Not exactly. There are a few items that are delicious and worth the cost, but most of it reminds me of the food served in a college dining hall.
Great value for an all you can eat buffet and the selections available to seniors on Thursday nights after 6 PM. I have had problems with getting my Open Table reservations recognized at the Festival Buffet and the Veranda at Foxwoods. The staff simply do not know what to do to check us in!
Making a reservation was very helpful-didn't have to wait in a long line-probably a 45 min wait.
Selection of food was fair. Not enough Italian food and salad selections. Meat entrées and dessert selections were good.
It is an above average buffet at Foxwoods resort. Thursday nights after 6 PM is seniors night the price is $9.95 price for us gray haired individuals. This great value becomes obvious at 5:55 PM when more than a hundred hungry senior converge and line up for entry to the dining hall.
Great value and good food for a reasonable price! We liked it very much.
We discovered that the buffet is only $9.95 on Thursday nights for Seniors.
What a great deal, we enjoyed it very much as you may imagine!
Soups, salad, some of the Chinese was good as was the carving stations. Desserts terrific. BBQ was not good; seafood not great either - crab legs a rip off as they don't give you any tools to open them and they are small. Shrimp is fine as are the mussels. The other seafood was dry or overcooked. Italian was good but $23 to get some decent pasta is not a good deal. No other aspect of the Italian food was very good as either dry or cold.
Is a lot of food all I can say. The soups were good. Idk not my cup of tea.
The breakfast buffet is certainly reasonable and there is plenty of food but the quality leaves something to be desired. The fruit was barely fresh and the pastries dry. This buffet is best if you care more about quantity than quality.
