In 1940, Adele and Ellis Ferris determined to share their hospitality with more than their family and friends. they wanted to reach out to serve the Cleveland community that had welcomed them with open arms.     Food was delicious as always. Our service was extremely slow, for some reason. Not very crowded dining room. 645 reservation Appetizers came around 745, entrees took til 845. We had hoped to be leaving, to attend another function before 10pm. We didn't leave until 940. Our server was nice enough, didn't seem to remember drink, or food orders. Wife ordered green beans, but got a salad. No green beans ever came with entree. Food was delicious, just seems like it took so much time between courses, we ate everything put down in front of us, because we were starving. I think we'll be taking a break from Ferris for awhile, until service improves to the standard it once was.

    First time at Ferris. Our server was excellent. We were disappointed in the prime rib. It was chewy and not tender. The balance of the meal was good. We'll try again.

    My main complaint is my prime rib was very tough. I would have thought a steak house would deliver a superior product. Longhorn is far better. Also, the service was slower than expected as we were essentially the only people in there. Waited quite a while to get our first round of drinks.

    We had a very pleasant meal at Ferris Steak House. The prime rib was excellent and was cooked to perfection. My date's filet mignon was a little on the dry side for a steak cooked to medium temperature and lacked seasoning. The ambiance was nice, however the music coming from the speakers was a little to loud for the dining area. I can see the benefit of louder more up tempo music in the bar area, however the music was loud for a romantic dinner. The dining area is very well decorated and is very classy with dark wood and ceiling beams. We will definitely give them another try.

    It was our 50th anniversary and there was four of us. My husband ordered steak fries and they were burnt we had to have the server request a non burnt order. The steak itself was fabulous. We ordered the carrot cake and strawberry cheesecake which was good m, the carrot cake was very dry we left over half of it. We told the server as she asked if we wanted to take it home. The atmosphere was good restaurant very clean and inviting

    First time visiting was better than expected! Everything was fantastic. The noise could not be avoided it was a beautiful evening so alot of traffic outside of patio. Food was hot and cooked to perfection. Next time I'm in the area I will go back! Thank you for a great experience

    Had a wonderful meal at Ferris Steakhouse. Took my friend there for her birthday and we both had the Black & Bleu Filet and it was amazing! Cooked perfectly and the bleu cheese sauce on top was amazing! Our waitress was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive but gave us time and space to talk and catch up. She wasn't annoyed when we needed more time to look at the menu because we were chatting. They had a very nice wine and cocktail selection. Their bar area looked really nice and I could see sitting there having a drink and watching a game as they had tv's all around it. The restaurant is very classy and well decorated and the bar area is very nice too and I would call it an upscale bar area but a place where you would feel comfortable watching a sports game. We will definitely be back.

    A very enjoyable evening. The food was fantastic and our waitress was excellent. We enjoyed the ambiance and it was just an overall. Good evening. It is a little pricey but for a nice night out is the place to go.

    As always, Ferris Steakhouse was wonderful. We both ordered the famous pork chops, and they were delicious, cooked to perfection. It is always such a pleasure to dine at Ferris Steakhouse...cannot wait to go back!

    Food was great,especially the delmonico special of the day. Onion soup top notch! And the chef’s appetizer of meatballs and sauce was out of bounds! We booked on Open Table with this restaurant to reserve a table for our anniversary however restaurant did not acknowledge. Our server Aileen seemed to be tired and her best was not on display! She did her job!

    The waiter had incorrect information regarding the special. Two out of four steak were overcooked. The waiter spilled steak juice on two people. He was not very apologetic. We will probably not be back.

    We had the best waitress. She was so nice and was right there for everything we needed. The food was perfect. The steaks were great. The stuffed mushroom appetizers were really good. The ribs are some of the best in town. We were very happy that we chose to come here for a our little family get together!

    Very disappointed, I was expecting better. I felt the menu was overpriced. This was more of a regular customer place, being that it was my first time here. The staff talking and chatting with the weekly regulars made me feel a bit out of place. The table given to us was Very small and.cramped, it set a bad tone for the rest of the evening.

    My first time there and it exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious and after dinner we went out onto the outdoor patio and enjoyed a drink. It was a nice evening all the way around.

    Great food and service. A/C was cranked to the point of frigid, tho. Surf and Turf items were generous and well seasoned. Bearnaise was quite good, Peppercorn sauce congealed and became gloppy (probably from the A/C, lol). will definitely return, maybe with a sweater.

    Went there for Mother's Day. Seated immediately and server present quickly. As indicated value poor as buffet was over $50 per person=there were 3 of us. Just think $50 is a bit much although there certainly were lots of choices of everything. Should have checked the price before making reservations.

    We went for Mother's Day Brunch buffet. Our server was very nice however very few foods were actually hot or even warm. Almost everything was barely lukewarm, eggs were ice cold. Prime rib wasn't rare it was raw and the shrimp weren't peeled for the shrimp cocktail. Slightly underwhelming for the price.

    Eggs were cold. Food overall was not great. Buffet set up was a u shape and very slow. You had to wait in line at the servers drink station. Overall not worth the high price.

    I haven’t been here in a few years and I forgot how much I like it. Its menu may seem dated, but it’s a classic steak house with very reasonable prices. The French onion soup was one of the best ones I’ve had. We had two people with us who don’t like steak, but they loved their seafood meals. They do everything right there.
