Excellent food and service.
Food and service were very good. Our seating was near the sidewalk and was very comfortable. Our first time at Ferraro’s and will be returning.
We made a reservation for the birthday and were seated on the 2nd floor. It was 90 degrees out and they had no air conditioning. Moreover, the service was very slow. They sat us in a back alcove with no ventilation. I told the waiter 4 times about the heat to no avail. This spoiled our birthday celebration. We go to Ferraro's often but we're so disappointed

Didn’t get wine we ordered. Didn’t honor reservation time. Dish came with wrong side. Try this place once a year cause it seems busy but food is average at best and service always a problem.
Food was excellent, waiter was fantastic, the only thing negative is everything is basic. If you want bread you have to ask and all you get is bread, no olive oil or butter. That needs to be fixed to be on par with any other Italian Restaurant. We had to ask for more Marinara Sauce because it was very tiny portions. The appetizer plates were cake plates and can barley hold any food. We had to ask for bigger plates just for Appetizers.

The Brooklyn Pizza is terrific. But when a customer refuses to eat a dessert, the correct responses include, "Can I get you something else" or "I'll take that off the bill," but never, "I guess we had a bad day" and charge for that dessert.

Above all the service was horrible. No drink order taken, 2 of 2 dinner orders wrong, plates not cleared, no check in on table after food arrived. Special of red snapper was way over cooked.
The place was very noisy. The food was just okay, nothing spectacular. The best part was coffee, really fresh and must be a good quality. The worst part was our waitress, who after she got her tip tried to get us out as soon as possible (though there were free tables). She also "stole" the last piece of dessert from the table after we specifically told her to leave it. Overall, meh.
Went specifically because they tout gluten free options. There do and they were good, but there is an additional charge . The bill for lunch for 3 without alcohol or dessert was $55 . Not impressed.

This visit to Ferraro's was very enjoyable. The weather was beautiful after far too much rain, and we had a table that was open to the outside but still protected from the sun (and rain if it came). The service was very attentive, and the food was good. All around, we all enjoyed the experience. And we were able to find parking!

Love the overall ambiance of the restaurant. Took my partner there for his birthday. His chicken was undercooked. Portions were decent but really expected them to be larger. Our server was very good. Not sure why the valet had an attitude (even after I tipped him). The drink special was delicious though. The beltways was surprisingly mediocre. I remember having a better experience the last time we were there which was a few years ago. Not sure I will be back anytime soon.

We had a late lunch on Sunday with friends; our 2nd visit in a year. Nice menu/ many choices. I had a beer and glass of white wine; others had martinis and Aperol spritz. All good. My Murray salad was excellent- as was my shrimp Diavlo ( huge shrimp ). We sat indoors, but they have some outside tables. Friendly service/ wait staff. Nonna's meatballs were also very good. Will return.
What happened to Ferraro’s? I had Filet of Sole Francese and it tasted like Filet of Mush! Large serving but it was so over cooked or left over from the weekend and the fish was almost floating in tasteless lemon water and oil. In general, even their tomato sauce is not as good as it used to be ...I miss that rich homemade taste!

Ferraro’s has been a long time favorite of our families. We have gone there for many, many years. The only thing I could suggest that would make it better is to have half the size portions at half the price. That would be perfect.

I have not been to Ferraro's in a while but remebered it be good food and service. Things have drastically changed. To begin, after being seated for only 10 minutes l, the waiter comes over and asks if we are ready to order. I said my apologies we will look at the menu now. He then says its only a 2 hour seating period. WHAT! Wow ok, that is terrible customer service, not to mention he was extremely rude in his delivery. I understand the need to turn tables quickly but telling your customers its a 2 hour limit is incredibly rude. The waiters need to be retrained and taught that in is not ok to say that, that is NOT how you turn tables. Waiters need to help the customer pick an entree, discuss the food choices, make suggestions not bully your guest into quickly choosing . Rather than saying well there is a 2 hour limit, he should have made suggestions and helped us decided. If that wasnt bad enough, when the food came out it was luke warm at best, but that wasnt the issue. The problem was the disgusting hair I found in my food. I told the very rude waiter and legitimately shrugged his ahoulders. Unreal!! I have no words. He comes back a few minutes later and says I took the entree off the bill. I sure hope so. Clearly, I will NOT be returning.
