Wonderful anniversary dinner. Romantic table with great food and service
The food here is just okay. The zucchini fries were greasy, the bread dry & the salmon over sauced and salty. My guests however did enjoy their pasta dishes. On the other hand I will say that the staff is very good, quick and very attentive.
Food was exceptional and the service was good, not great. Mostly due to age of the wait staff. They didn't make any recommendations, but were attentive to cleaning, etc.
I thought the prices were reasonable, except I thought it was odd that they charged for refills. Three of us had iced tea and eventually they brought a second for each of us. In the end they charged for 6 iced teas. I thought it was odd. Would definitely recommend and the Chilean sea bass was very very good.
Grungy, not appropriate for an upper scale event. Friendly hard working staff. Mediocre food. Got a severe headache after the meal. I suspect the kitchen used MSG.
Had a business lunch here and everything from service to delicious chicken caesar salad and salad special made this one of the best restaurants I have eaten at. Wish it were closer to home or I would be a regular patron. Parking across the street and diverse menu make this a place that you should explore.
Ferraro's has been a favorite of mine for many years. Favorite dish is chicken oreganato. Although not on the menu anymore, you can still get, and it's just as good as ever. My friend who can't have gluten tells me that their gluten-free pasta is the best he's had.
Great food! Great service! A wonderful anniversary dinner!
As we walked in and advised we had a reservation they told us our table was on the 2nd floor. I explained that I had requested a table outside and if not I wanted one near the open windows. The host advised they don’t take reservations outside and I should call open table to complain. Once seated the RUDE waiter, Richard, was extremely condescending. He was also rude to his servers who were Spanish by clapping his hands and saying MIRA MIRA at them to serve. I should have walked out. After dinner I asked to speak to a manager and was told Chuck left. I will never go back
Chuck, Maria, Giuseppe and Lina all do an amazing job running Ferraros. I cannot think of a better go to restaurant 40 minutes from my house. Keep up the awesome work!
Waiter and bar tender both rude. Will not be returning after this experience.
The service was not good, wanted to take dinner order before cocktail order, brought out main dishes while we were still eating our appetizers. Not what we expected
Great food for gluten free people! They had a lot of options. I love when they open up the doors and let people sit outside too, minimal noise level.
Tried Ferraro’s after a long while...Honestly could’ve given this place 5 stars, except the entire staff on the upstairs level was totally focused in conversations with each other behind the bar and throughout the room. When we arrived, we were seated upstairs, where they looked as if they were preparing tables for the following days Mother’s Day reservations. This would have been fine if the service people that were on the floor for the evening properly payed attention to the tables there for the evening. Appetizer orders placed and delayed until right before (minutes) our main entree was delivered, then no server in sight for the next 20-30 minutes. Dessert was more of the same...took awfully long time to get from the actual ordering to the table, and then had to goto the bar to ask for our check as our server was engaged yet again in conversation and not paying attention to our table. The food itself was outstanding, as I always remember it to be, but if the service is like this continually, may not be worthy the trio back.
While participating in Westfield's Ladies night, my friends and I had a wonderful dinner here with exceptional service.
We had lunch at Ferraro’s and enjoyed it. The lunch menu had pizzas, flat bread, salads and many more items to choose from.
The service was excellent. It was a nice day and the flip doors were open giving it a cafe look. It was a very nice lunch.
Wonderful waiter! Knowledgeable about wine. Great menu--regular and specials.
This was our first time at Ferraro's in a long time. So, where we were sitting at a table for four that was near one of the corner booths with a high wall. One of the hostesses sat some people near our table and clearly should have gone around the other way. She walked her guests behind someone in my party's chair. My guest had to move in so that they could get by. It was just an awkward way to walk people to their table.
Everyone was happy with their meal. I thought my dish needed a little more flavor and my husband's meal should've been warmer. His fish had a little sauce on it and you could tell it was sitting out for a bit because the sauce had that dull glaze over it. It wasn't the end of the world but I feel that food should not be served that way.
I will definitely give Ferraro's another try. We chose Ferraro's for several reasons. 1. It's reasonable, 2. It was a nice night out and we wanted to sit outside. However, by the time we got there it had gotten cooler out so we opted for a table near the open doors so we had the best of both worlds. 3. We were celebrating my husband's birthday. 4. The variety of Ferraro's menu is very appealing.
Wonderful food with some unique and tasty options.
Great dinner and perfect ambience. Sat outdoors as weather was great. Highly recommended.
Probably the 20th time I've eaten at Ferraro's...and I'm sure I'll be back again. Never fails to disappoint. Hardest part was actually getting a reservation on a Saturday night, yet even at 8:15, the place was packed, and perhaps even a bit TOO loud. As the weather warms up, I'll be more likely to ask for outdoor seating, or even up on the second floor where they can open the doors. Great location, valet parking if you need it, a liquor license (a rarity in Westfield), and the food is always great.
Service was excellent, food was delicious, and ambience was perfect. We sat Away from the hustle and bustle which was perfect.
The food is always delicious. But we have been to this location twice, and both times, we have had to wait over an hour for our food....even though the restaurant was not full either time. Having to wait an hour ...even for the appetizers ....is absurd. My family and I will not be returning. That said, during our second visit, when we complained about the wait time, the manager and staff were very apologetic. And they comped us a glass of wine and dessert as an apology, which I thought was a lovely gesture.
Always a wonderful time here. The staff is attentive, the management seems approachable, and the delicious specials change weekly. Highly recommend!
Meal was good . We did wait a bit for water to come to the table ( after the bread ) but once our waiter came he was pleasant. No complaints but also didn’t walk away feeling like I can’t wait for to go back
We had reservations for 7pm and arrived ahead of time. We ordered and received our drinks. We walked out after 45 min of not being served. The owner was very rude. This is not the first time we have had trouble there, so we gave them another chance. We will not be going back and we will tell our friends.
Always a "go-to" place for me. I also use their take out service (with home delivery) often
Totally great dining experience.. great sauce and fish was really nice. Veal and chicken very tender. Nice Gelato variety and great cappuccino.
First time, food was excellent.
When wanting an overall satisfying meal with an Italian accent, we drive to Westfield and visit Ferraro's.
Amazing service and awesome food! A must visit in Westfield!
Honored reservations even an hour before the set time which was great
Dinner was excellent. We had a nice corner window table which made it easy to talk.
2 couples for dinner. Maitre D was looking for a table for us when the 1st couple was already seated. Our waitress asked for our drink order as we were sitting down. Salads were huge and very good. I had a U-10 shrimp scampi dish with linguini that was a little gummy. All other entrees were very well reviewed. We shared a tartufo which was cut nicely into quarters. The wine was presented properly with glasses appropriately filled but never replenished. A very pleasant evening which would have been excellent with small changes
Easter dinner with the family. Great food!
my suggestion is go out buy an expensive pair of sneakers and RUN from Ferraros.
the food is highly overpriced and the portions are extremely undersized. Lots of bus staff that don't speak English so they are unable to help with even the basic requests.
main wait staff is sporadic at best. The worst is when it comes to the food, even basic pasta dishes which should be cheap to prepare the portions are sparse. the quality is spoty at best, simple plates of pasta are a crap shoot with getting too much salt or overloaded with sauce to hide the lack of actual food. I assume that the bar/liquor license is its only redeeming quality to preoccupy customers with the final product on the plate.
I have been to Ferraros several times and have finally given up, they should have left it a pile of ash after the fire than to rebuild it.
Sat down to eat at 6:30pm. Finally left about 9pm. Appetizers and drinks were brought out soon after, but waited an hour for dinner. The waiter and manager apologized explaining one of our meals was found to not the chef’s liking and forced all of our meals to be recooked. Other than that, food came out fresh and delicious and they comped our deserts. After writing this I’m going to raise ambiance from 4 to 5. Any less I don’t think we would have been willing to stay and wait. Despite the wait we still had a good time. Or, the white sangria was just that good.
All four of us enjoyed the food completely. Our only problem was the timing. Both my wife and I and our friends ordered salads to share which took an inordinately long time to arrive. Our server had to go back to the kitchen to find out what happened. They finally arrived and were delicious but then our main courses arrived before we had a chance to eat the salads. Desserts also seemed to take an abnormally long time to arrive considering there wasn’t muc prep for them.
The food was excellent as was the ambiance. However, our server disappeared shortly after our food arrived and we were unable to order desert or another drink- we were seeing a film at 7 and did not have time. We finished dinner at 6:15PM and would have had enough time for desert/ coffee had the server checked in with us prior to 6:40. A disappointing end.
Had not been to Ferraro's in a few years and decided to try it again. We met friends their for dinner. The food was delicious. The service was perfect. They didn't hover but knew exactly when we needed something, and most importantly, checked with us with in minutes of our meals being served to ensure everything was to our liking. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I think it is a little pricy. The lobster ravioli special was $26, and that did not include a salad. $35 for lobster ravioli and salad is a little steep, even for Westfield. I expect those prices in the City.
Service was really bad. Didn’t get a menu after being sat for 20 minutes. Literally had to walk up to front to grab menus myself. Waiter seemed overwhelmed by everything and at one point our waiter took our order then was subsequently replaced while standing there. Very bizarre. In our view was also a dustpan and broom leaning against the wall - small details like that and serving issue make it clear the restaurant is managed poorly. I think it’s popularity is due to location, the good enough cusine, liquor license, and family friendly atmosphere (which I love).
