Have not been there for yes s. Enjoy the Italian food
We were 6 people had no problem hearing each other. Good was good
Stopped in for a late dinner, excited since we were there the week before for lunch. So much to choose from, but the chicken Giuseppe and chicken Margarita were delish. Planning a nite to just try the pasta dishes very soon! Delish!
The food was good. However, when I ordered the shrimp scampi, it was light on the shrimp.
Consistently good, nice atmosphere, always a pleasure to dine there
Always a dependable and solid dining experience. The clams with linguini and white sauce were tender and delicious.
This was my first time here. We made reservations for an early dinner and were greeted warmly as soon as we entered by at least 2 staff members. Freddy was our server and he was very pleasant. I ordered the stuffed gnocchi with filet mignon tips and it was delicious. They had just opened the sliding window so we loved the view of outside on a gorgeous August day. I would most definitely return.
We decided to go to Ferraro´s because I wanted Eggplant Rollatini and I have had a very good one there previously. I was disappointed because it was more a "Mozzarella" Rolatini, the eggplant was barely there. Also, I wouldn´t call it rollatini but "spreadatini" since they were not very rolled. It was definitely not the dish I have had there before.
The Italian food was exceptional, especially the marinara sauce, ravioli and purchased a meatball on the side. Couldn’t be more pleased, will return soon. Husband also impressed with his order, linguini with meat sauce (Bolognese).
Ordered the pasta special with pancetta and Brussel sprouts. Dish barely contained any Brussel sprouts, a few tiny shreds. Pancetta was in big chunks and tasted more like a smoked ham which made the dish very smoky. Also had spaghetti and meatballs which was very good. Marinara was delicious. Our waitress definitely wanted to be somewhere else. Was not attentive or had any personality. We used to live in Westfield and were excited to be back visiting. Dinner was disappointing.
Ferraro's is our "go to" place when we have to meet in the middle of NJ. You can always count on good food, and good service. Never been disappointed.
Since their remodel several years back now their food is consistently very good and their service and staff pleasant and accommodating. We've now held several events at Ferraros and know we can rely on them to run a smoothly orchestrated even with tasty food. And we love the fresh oysters - always good!
Normally Ferraros is very good but this particular day was not the best. Granted it was a very busy Saturday so it was noisy, the two waiters were clearly not in sync with each other and worst of all every appetizer and the soup came out fairly cold. Disappointed in this visit.
Enjoyed the meal. We were disappointed that the spring rolls were taken off the menu. They were always a favorite to many.
Good Italian food overall with a lively atmosphere. The service was somewhat slow... even at 5:00. By the time we left at 8:00, it was super busy and a bit too loud. Get there early!
The food was very good (as it always is), and the restaurant was full of happy people (many families). The server was polite and made no errors, but was a little over-extended.
Food is consistently good, prices are reasonable, service and location are good.
Wonderful anniversary dinner. Romantic table with great food and service
The food here is just okay. The zucchini fries were greasy, the bread dry & the salmon over sauced and salty. My guests however did enjoy their pasta dishes. On the other hand I will say that the staff is very good, quick and very attentive.
Food was exceptional and the service was good, not great. Mostly due to age of the wait staff. They didn't make any recommendations, but were attentive to cleaning, etc.
I thought the prices were reasonable, except I thought it was odd that they charged for refills. Three of us had iced tea and eventually they brought a second for each of us. In the end they charged for 6 iced teas. I thought it was odd. Would definitely recommend and the Chilean sea bass was very very good.
Grungy, not appropriate for an upper scale event. Friendly hard working staff. Mediocre food. Got a severe headache after the meal. I suspect the kitchen used MSG.
Had a business lunch here and everything from service to delicious chicken caesar salad and salad special made this one of the best restaurants I have eaten at. Wish it were closer to home or I would be a regular patron. Parking across the street and diverse menu make this a place that you should explore.
Ferraro's has been a favorite of mine for many years. Favorite dish is chicken oreganato. Although not on the menu anymore, you can still get, and it's just as good as ever. My friend who can't have gluten tells me that their gluten-free pasta is the best he's had.
Great food! Great service! A wonderful anniversary dinner!
As we walked in and advised we had a reservation they told us our table was on the 2nd floor. I explained that I had requested a table outside and if not I wanted one near the open windows. The host advised they don’t take reservations outside and I should call open table to complain. Once seated the RUDE waiter, Richard, was extremely condescending. He was also rude to his servers who were Spanish by clapping his hands and saying MIRA MIRA at them to serve. I should have walked out. After dinner I asked to speak to a manager and was told Chuck left. I will never go back
Chuck, Maria, Giuseppe and Lina all do an amazing job running Ferraros. I cannot think of a better go to restaurant 40 minutes from my house. Keep up the awesome work!
Waiter and bar tender both rude. Will not be returning after this experience.
The service was not good, wanted to take dinner order before cocktail order, brought out main dishes while we were still eating our appetizers. Not what we expected
Great food for gluten free people! They had a lot of options. I love when they open up the doors and let people sit outside too, minimal noise level.
Tried Ferraro’s after a long while...Honestly could’ve given this place 5 stars, except the entire staff on the upstairs level was totally focused in conversations with each other behind the bar and throughout the room. When we arrived, we were seated upstairs, where they looked as if they were preparing tables for the following days Mother’s Day reservations. This would have been fine if the service people that were on the floor for the evening properly payed attention to the tables there for the evening. Appetizer orders placed and delayed until right before (minutes) our main entree was delivered, then no server in sight for the next 20-30 minutes. Dessert was more of the same...took awfully long time to get from the actual ordering to the table, and then had to goto the bar to ask for our check as our server was engaged yet again in conversation and not paying attention to our table. The food itself was outstanding, as I always remember it to be, but if the service is like this continually, may not be worthy the trio back.
While participating in Westfield's Ladies night, my friends and I had a wonderful dinner here with exceptional service.
We had lunch at Ferraro’s and enjoyed it. The lunch menu had pizzas, flat bread, salads and many more items to choose from.
The service was excellent. It was a nice day and the flip doors were open giving it a cafe look. It was a very nice lunch.
Wonderful waiter! Knowledgeable about wine. Great menu--regular and specials.
This was our first time at Ferraro's in a long time. So, where we were sitting at a table for four that was near one of the corner booths with a high wall. One of the hostesses sat some people near our table and clearly should have gone around the other way. She walked her guests behind someone in my party's chair. My guest had to move in so that they could get by. It was just an awkward way to walk people to their table.
Everyone was happy with their meal. I thought my dish needed a little more flavor and my husband's meal should've been warmer. His fish had a little sauce on it and you could tell it was sitting out for a bit because the sauce had that dull glaze over it. It wasn't the end of the world but I feel that food should not be served that way.
I will definitely give Ferraro's another try. We chose Ferraro's for several reasons. 1. It's reasonable, 2. It was a nice night out and we wanted to sit outside. However, by the time we got there it had gotten cooler out so we opted for a table near the open doors so we had the best of both worlds. 3. We were celebrating my husband's birthday. 4. The variety of Ferraro's menu is very appealing.
Wonderful food with some unique and tasty options.
Great dinner and perfect ambience. Sat outdoors as weather was great. Highly recommended.
Probably the 20th time I've eaten at Ferraro's...and I'm sure I'll be back again. Never fails to disappoint. Hardest part was actually getting a reservation on a Saturday night, yet even at 8:15, the place was packed, and perhaps even a bit TOO loud. As the weather warms up, I'll be more likely to ask for outdoor seating, or even up on the second floor where they can open the doors. Great location, valet parking if you need it, a liquor license (a rarity in Westfield), and the food is always great.
Service was excellent, food was delicious, and ambience was perfect. We sat Away from the hustle and bustle which was perfect.
