Beautiful Location and great service. Always a favourite but is pricy.
Sorry, minor rant incoming. When vacationing I often travel with wine from my cellar to ensure that I'm drinking what I want with my meals. I brought a very nice bottle to enjoy with dinner only to find out they won't open it; no corkage policy. Get with the program people. I'd even pay the outrageous corkage fees found elsewhere around the island, but let me drink my damn wine. It spoiled the rest of the experience for me. They also lost money on me - besides the corkage fee - as I didn't order any other beverage and simply cut my dinner short (no coffee, desert, digestif, etc) so I could return to my room to crack the bottle. Also, I won't be returning or recommending the place to anyone.
The food was above average but given how much you're paying you expect more. I'm not sure how else to ding them for the wine issue, so it has to come out of the service portion which was otherwise very good. The ambience of course was excellent.
I hope they rethink the policy.
The restaurant to enjoy a beautiful sunset and intimate dining just above the crashing waves. The food was excellent and our waiter, Renalto, a pleasure! I would highly recommend!
Our second time celebrating my wife’s birthday on Maui and both times Ferraro’s did not disappoint. The view is spectacular, the food is delicious and the staff was awesome. I’m sure we’ll eat there again.
At the end of a week of indulging in some of the best dining Maui has to offer, this experience was truly the crown jewel. My wife used words like “divine”, “exquisite” and “incredible”. The staff was accommodating, pleasant, professional and went above and beyond. The view was breathtaking. The already romantic atmosphere was enhanced by the soothing sound of the guitar and violin that played throughout the evening. The meal was the best I have enjoyed in a long, long time. The meal and experience was worth repeating the next time we are on Maui.
My wife and I got to eat here as our first dinner in Maui for our Honeymoon. It was magical. Our reservation was for 5:30 so we got to see the sun fully set. Truly an incredible experience. The food matched the views. We both had excellent pasta dishes, wine, and dessert. We highly recommend this spot to everyone.
$50 pasta with 2 prices of shrimp
Had a fantastic lunch and dinner here. Have been going here for many years. Service was exceptional. View is fantastic great location for ocean sunsets. Outside seating.
Great view, excellent food and good service. Really a great experience.
I would have given 6 stars in all categories if I could. We are on vacay and it was our first meal on the island. Perfect service, perfect setting, terrific food. I will recommend over and over. Pricey but worth it.
Sadly the rigatoni with sausage had so many red pepper flakes that no one at the table could eat it. I then asked for angel hair with tomato sauce and it was ice cold and really tasted like it came from a jar. Service was great but I really don't recommend spending the $$ unless you want a sunset view.
We had made a reservation 2 weeks in advance and on the day of our reservation, there was a thunderstorm and the restaurant closed. We were unaware of this as we are from out of the country and our cell phones were turned off from data so we never received the call informing us of this. I'm surprised in this day in age they didn't email us as we did have wifi connection in our hotel and would have been able to communicate with the restaurant. Due to no email being sent and not receiving the phone call, our reservation was not carried over to their neighbouring restaurant next door, like all their other reservations that night. An extremely unhappy experience with this. I cannot believe that there wouldn't be more effort in a business trying to get ahold of their customer, who is on holidays, or just an automatic move of ALL reservations to their neighbouring restaurant. Needless to say, we never got to experience this restaurant, yet due to their poor and effortless communication skills, we will never attempt to go to this restaurant again.
Beautiful ambiance. Food was good but for the value I would not return. There is no reason why a piece of lasagna should cost 36.00 or two small meatballs should cost 23.00. I get that you are in Hawaii and things are more expensive but you should not feel as though you are getting ripped off.
Saturday is the best day to go because of the violin music. Used to be 7 days a week. Now only one for some silly reason. That’s the atmosphere does the entire restaurant for the last 20 years.
We so enjoyed our meal at Ferraro’s! We were seated outside, closest to the ocean, very romantic. Shared the meatball and polenta appetizer. The meatball was delicious , the polenta creamy with just the right amount of cheese. I had the paparedelle with lamb ragout and my husband had the truffle risotto. Both were excellent. Service was spot in n and we couldn’t be more satisfied with everything.
One of the most beautiful places we have ever eaten dinner. Absolutely gorgeous, made more beautiful with the sound of the ocean crashing nearby. The bread is probably the best I’ve ever eaten in a restaurant. Meals and salads were very good. Drinks and wine very expensive. A splurge for sure but worth it!
We have been to Ferraro's many times and everytime was excellent. Last Saturday night it was exceptional--wonderful service, great food and attention to detail---plus our table was located in the best spot and weather was wonderful. Our waitress deserves recognition---she gave wonderful service---and also the attendant was spot on!
Ferraro is always very good, you can’t have a better location anywhere on the planet.
We had the Hawaiian Snapper with a perfect bottle of Planeta Chardonnay!
It has been a while since our last visit; however, we realized that we miss the unbelievable atmosphere!! You can't top the view, and the staff at the restaurant. The menu, and food has changed over the years. I had the local snapper, and it was great, except not quite understanding the ring of little clams around the fish. Was really not worth the effort on the plate. My husband had the ahi and he enjoyed. We had a beet salad to start, and the beets were quite on the bitter side. The staff are fantastic and are there to answer any of your needs. Overall, great restaurant--but remember, it is at the Four Seasons!!
A very memorable evening and dining experience. Couldn’t have asked for anything better.
