We had yet another outstanding dinner at Ferraro‘s. Waiter was excellent and perfectly attentive. The food was outstanding including the house made pastas. Of course, nothing compares to the ambience of a outdoor beach setting at sunset. We will come back yet again the next time we are in Hawaii.
We had the most wonderful birthday dinner at Ferraro’s! The service was impeccable and we loved that the staff knew our names and made sure that everything was perfect - which is was! The food was excellent! The view was amazing! We have been coming to Wailea for 30 plus years and this has always been our favorite restaurant!
Our server had too many tables so was not able to provide good service. Would expect this level of service at a local poolside bar, but was surprised to get it at a restaurant at the Four Seasons.
My husband and I came here for our first dinner as Mr. and Mrs. and to say we were disappointed is an understatement . My Husband is 100% Italian and the food here is far from authentic Italian. We were
hoping to have a typical 5 course Italian style dinner but instead we were rushed from the start. Our server didn’t even introduce himself. Just jumped right into “what are you drinking?!” Very impersonal. Borderline rude actually. We ended up leaving after 2 lousy courses. The lobster special was the most overcooked lobster we have ever tasted, straight rubber. Watery and tasteless vodka sauce. Not to mention no cheese or crushed black pepper was offered to garnish it. For $52 dollars it was an absolute joke. If you’re wanting a quick and severely overpriced dining experience, eat at Ferraro’s. If you’re looking for a memorable evening, stay away. We are disappointed our first dinner as a married couple was spent here.
As usual beautiful setting, friendly attentive service, delicious food .
Incredible! Food is fantastic, sunset views were stellar, great service. Quality cocktails and food overall.
The pineapple mojito was to die for!! You must try it!
Catch of the day was delish, bruschetta was amazing and fresh, and the service was incredible. The view was lovely as well of course!
Awesome night thank you
Beautiful Birthday Dinner
Always delicious, and you can’t beat the view!
Great wine selection- amazing food! We had a Wonderful table and view as well!
Great place . View and food was 5 stars
Very tasty meal. Great service.
Anniversary
We are frequent return guests to The Four Seasons and had dinner at Ferraro’s nine times on this last trip. Every meal was incredibly delicious and kept us coming back for more. Chefs Nico and Andrew were very amenable to making modifications based on dietary restrictions and were happy to talk through anything we were interested in trying even if not on the published menu. The entire team treats us like family and the chefs take time to speak with us because we express real interest in the food and what goes into its preparation. We look forward to returning to Ferraro’s again and again.
We had the most amazing meal at Ferraro’s on Friday night ! The bread with homemade butter was so warm and good. My wife had the catch of the day which was prepared exceptionally well! I had the Bolognese which was one of the better I’ve had. Topped with a bottle of wine from their extensive collection, it’s been the best meal we have had on the island hands down!
Just a perfect restaurant with a perfect setting, perfect manager, perfect staff and a truly wonderful Chef. They do it all and then do it again each time you go back.
It is our go to place on Maui.
We came to this restaurant based on reviews and we couldn’t have been more disappointed. We were celebrating our Honeymoon and the manager, server, and even head chef felt that it was more important to focus on another table that came 20 minutes after us . They kept talking to this other table multiple times each while we were getting ignored. It was another two top that order long after us and received there food about 25 minutes before us . Our server didn’t seemed to care about our food that took a lot longer and he was only focused on his only other table. When we asked out our food he told us that the kitchen is busy right now but we couldn’t understand how that could be when his other table came 20 minutes after us and got there food right away. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone . The staff prioritizes certain people and tables over others .
Wonderful. As usual. Ho hum.
This is our favorite resto in Wailea. We always start and end every trip here.
Great food and very good service.
We are on vacation in Maui at the Four Seasons Wailea. Ferraro’s was our choice got the first night. The food was amazing! Especially the bread with garlic spread, the calamari starter, and the Spaghetti! No white linens and candlelight due to Covid restrictions. But considering the times..... everything was first class!
With less menu options than we are used to, and a more casual offering in the way of all-day dining, we miss some of the dinner options from previous visits.
My bucatini with prawns was good, but lacking cheese. My husband’s fish was over cooked, and not the best.
For $19, the house salad was very simple.
The desserts were outstanding as always, with the tiramisu being a standout.
We prefer eating in, as we did takeout one night, and that is not recommended.
Excellent service along with delicious food. Watched the sunset from our (outdoor) table.
Ferraro's was the most casual of the five restaurants we visited for dinners during our recent vacation but it was very good across the board.
Our server Gerry was amazing! Very attentive and incredibly nice.
The food was amazing! Our table shared four different entrees and it was impossible to pick a favorite! The ambience is amazing as well, we definitely picked the right time for dinner and being able to watch the sun set.
Overall a wonderful experience.
Celebrated anniversary. They were clearly in a rush to get us out of there even though we had a reservation at 8. Food was very average. Views were great though. Did not care for service.
We have been going to dinner here for three years. It was a favorite date night spot. The fact the we could have dinner overlooking the ocean was a huge plus. The restaurant has gone a more casual direction so it’s a little disappointing. Placemats now replace the white table linens and some of our favorite dishes are no longer on the menu. We will still go for a casual dinner but definitely not for a special occasion.
Beautiful view and great service. Food was marginal, mostly paid for the view. Still an enjoyable dinner.
Same menu at lunch and dinner. Only one "special" -- the fish. Food was tasty and well presented. Cocktail was generous and well prepared . 1/2 price wine after 8 PM helped with our bill but it was over $300 for 3 persons and a tip. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the magnificent setting and I don't doubt it was as good as it gets in Maui. However some online reviewers said it was #2 in the world and I can think of at least ten places where I had better food in Europe and Asia and NY and Seattle.
We love this restaurant. We sat at the bar and the bread is a must and the pasta with shrimp was amazing. The bartender is great too!
One of the best on maui
Upon arrival, host made it a point to ask if we were celebrating and we responded with, “yes it’s our 20th Wedding Anniversary celebration;” however, upon leaving we realized nothing special was ever offered or even mentioned and we wondered why we were asked. Service by host, busser and food runner were impeccable yet our server was rude, impatient and somewhat anxious for us to hurry up, decide and leave. Atmosphere, ambiance and overall feel was definitely up to Four Season’s highest standards. Food was prepared exactly as anticipated- fresh, delicious, unique and memorable!
Beautiful view. Great special with Ahi tuna.
Impeccable service. We had not been there for a year and they still knew what foods I was alergic to. Best view for a sunset.
The food was sub par. The view and the service was awesome. I just didn't love the vibe of the restaurant. I wished it was more upscale.
We had an anniversary dinner there 01/27/21.
Good service, ocean side seating and not too crowded. Wobbly table.
Food was a stunning disappointment for a four seasons.
Pork meatballs with polenta was pretty good, polenta was delicious.
Hearts of palm ceviche needs to be removed from the menu, its disgusting.
Wife had the ragu, bland, dry and lowend pasta that was overcooked. Not good.
I had the filet of beef, mediocre and muddy presentation. Flavor was ok but not great.
Desserts, coconut panna cotta was slimy and dull. The "alleged" tiramisu was just silly, both were poor by any standard.
Coffee was dishwater
I have no comment on the wine list.
Personally, I've been in culinary for 40+years. I understand that restaurants have off days, however
A restaurant in the four season should be impeccable and of superior quality, especially for the premium they charge, this place is definitely not even close.
Farraro's would benefit from some serious introspective about what the hell their doing because fine cuisine is NOT it.
No plans to return or recommend to anyone...ever.
Lovely spot close to the beach. Overpriced in the evening. Better value at lunchtime. Service not really up to Four Seasons standards. For value drink beer and enjoy their pizzas.
Fresh made bread is amazing! Their salad was mind blowing with a sugar cane vinaigrette. The entrees have changed. The Cabanara was very good but the meatballs with spaghetti wasn’t so good. Meatballs were super dry, unfortunate. Also the pappardelle has changed from lamb to ground beef bolognese. The lamb was so good but the ground beef is average. Hopefully, once Covid has abated, they will bring back the thoughtful, flavorful entrees. We will try again since this restaurants ambiance is unsurpassed on Maui.
It was a nice meal, but over priced as expected. Food was fair quality for the type of restaurant it is. We were there on an anniversary dinner. Just note that there are lots of families with kids, so not exactly the romantic place we thought.
