Ferrari's Italian Villa
The adjoining Ferrari's Pizza Patio serves Neopolitan style pizzas baked in an oak burning oven with craft beers on tap and a very nice wine list.

The setting was very nice with excellent decor. The service was excellent. The meal was absolutely great. My wife and I both loved it
We have always loved Ferrari's and this was a nice evening as well. Service was excellent and ambience was quite nice. There was a large group of men having a dinner party but they were very quiet. Everyone loved their food but me. My starter was excellent but my Cioppino was so so. Very expensive and the fillings were good but the soup base was almost solid oil. We spent $200 with tip for 4. Only one person had drinks and he had two.
We came here around 8pm to celebrate our anniversary. The place was not very full since it was a Sunday night. We were greeted by Oscar who sat us down and also took our order. Food was amazing and cooked perfectly. Oscar took great care of us and came around every so often to check to see if we needed anything. Great relaxing atmosphere.
Entree was served cold, steak & pasta special is not longer available despite it’s still mentioned on the website...
Great recommendations from staff.
Based on service, quality of food and ambiance I would not recommend Ferrari's to friends. I will say that our waiter told us that it was his first night on the job, and that can be forgiven, but the amount of time it took to receive our orders and the quality of the food was not up to par.
Very nice, food was excellent and sevice matched. The music was GREAT!!
Amazing service, exceptional wine selection, delicious Italian menu.
The ambience was warm and relaxing. The food was excellent. The service was top notch.
Oscar was so amazing. He let my mother cut into her steak and realized it was cooked a little under what she prefers and before she could even ask (she’s shy) he swept in to take it to the kitchen. He also made us an amazing banana’s foster. I’ve been here several times but will now be asking for Oscar every time I go. He made this an unforgettable experience, and a phenomenal birthday. Cheers to Oscar.
We pulled up and walked into another restaurant because Ferarri's is in the back. That was strange. Our waiter didn't explain how some things on the menu worked which was confusing. The steaks were good but everything else was ok.
I have never, ever had a better cioppino. Ever. Wow.
This is my second time at Ferrari's, hosting a group of customers at a recent conference.
As with my last visit, I could not have been more satisfied with our selection.
The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the private room allowed our group to have a comfortable dining and conversation experience.
I am also very pleased with the personal assistance provided by Jessica Redd (Ferrari's Event Manager) in the week prior to our event. We selected a pre-set, yet flexible menu, including wine and appetizers ready within minutes of our arrival.
It is a bit pricey, and noisy but overall I really enjoyed the whole experience. Our waitress was very nice as was all the staff.
It was a birthday celebration and there were 9 of us. We reserved one of the private rooms, and it was wonderful. Delicious food, great ambiance and excellent service. Will definitely go back next time we are in TX
We had another lovely dinner at Ferrari's. The food was wonderful and the service and ambiance made for a wonderful evening.
I was initially really excited when my boyfriend booked a reservation here for a special 3-course Valentine’s Day dinner but unfortunately we had a terrible experience. Our reservation was at 9pm and 3 minutes prior, as we were literally in the parking lot at 8:57pm, we got a call from the hostess saying they couldn’t accommodate our reservation for an hour at least “as the kitchen was overwhelmed and they were running behind”. (It’s never the kitchens fault). The hostess did apologize but didn’t offer any specific times, waiting solutions, the bar or lounge, and hung up quickly.
Since we were already there, I walked in to speak to the hostesses in person to better understand the situation and I might as well have since we already drove all the way over. There were other couples there just as frustrated, disappointed and confused as we were. We initially went to take a seat at one of the high tops in the lounge but it was so overcrowded with people and couples with reservations not knowing where to stand and wait.
Not only is it really disappointing and frustrating to have your reservation not honored by a restaurant you planned your holiday around to celebrate with your significant other, but we were told only 3 minutes beforehand and by that time didn’t even have the opportunity to see if we could find another place since it was already 9pm. To top it off, around 11pm we still never heard back from the restaurant and decided to order pizza at home for Valentine’s Day. Had we even known around 7/7:30pm even 8, we MAY have been able to figure something out in regards to doing something else special but unfortunately wasn’t even given that courtesy.
My boyfriend works a very demanding job and rarely ever has weekends/holidays off to celebrate. He specifically requested off Valentine’s Day months in advance.
For this reason, we sadly will most likely not be returning even though it looked like a really nice restaurant with good food, ambiance and style.
Had a reservation set for 8:30 and when we showed up, they said the kitchen was “backed up.” We would have had to wait 40 minutes for a table and a hour for food according to the hostess. Totally unacceptable for a nice restaurant and will not be going back again on busy nights/special occasions.
As were at the end of the night, we ordered several items that they ran out of, but our waiter Byron was quick with a substitution and recommendation and the evening did not suffer. Byron is beyond excellent and I would absolutely recommend him if you have the opportunity to stop in this gem of a restaurant!
Exceptionally slow service on Valentine’s Day.
Wasn’t impressed on Valentine’s Day. Stripped down menu, $65/person, and it took two hours for our entrees to come out. We payed as soon as our food came out and asked for dessert to go just to avoid getting stuck for another hour and a half. Their bottles of wine were reasonably priced. I liked this place previously, and I still probably would on a regular night. But they didn’t do a great job keeping a full house taken care of.
Valentines Day. We had to ask for them to dim the lighting in the NorthWest banquet room they put us in. The chairs in that room were worn out, sunken holes in the middle and leather/vinyl peeling off. It took us over 30 minutes to get bread - and we had to ask for that. It took us another 30 minutes to then get appetizers and an hour and twenty after that to get our entree. We were there over 3 hours.... ended up costing us an Uber home because we couldn’t do anything but drink while we waited. 3 tables left before entrees were served due to the slow pace of dinner and too long of wait times for food. We have eaten here many times and it’s even wonderful ( but not in that room ). The food was great when we got it , the waiter was fine but the kitchen was horribly staffed that night. We will go back but NEVER on a busy night and we will NEVER be allowed to be seated in that banquet room again.
It was a disappointment considering it was Valentines Night.
I'm not sure why a restaurant was not better prepared for Valentine's Day. They had a prix fixe dinner so they shouldn't have been surprised and caught short of food. We ordered ALL of our food at the start and so we were VERY disappointed when at the end of the meal they were out of the chocolate dessert! We didn't mind a 2 1/2 hour dinner as it gave us time to talk and catch up but what was going on in the kitchen?! We waited over an hour for our entree. Our poor server apologized constantly about the wait. At the hour mark, a manager offered to bring us some antipasta, again about a 10-minute wait on that! Our food was good but the restaurant really seemed unprepared for customers. We were initially seated at a 2 top that was placed in the doorway of the dining room. We declined; so did 3 other customers! There were plenty of tables available. There were also plenty of dirty tables needing to be cleaned. WAter glasses needed to be refilled, we had to ask. We've never had a bad experience at Ferrari's before but they really blew Valentine's Day. There were single roses on each table and boxes of roses by the front door; were these for the guests? No one offered us a flower, coffee with dessert, or an excuse to return.
Very nice dining experience. Enjoyed all items served. A couple of minor hiccups but it was quite busy being Valentines.
Didn’t like this restaurant. Valentine’s Day, high price and lots of courses as part of the $65 per person option. They. Didn’t have the wine we wanted, offered sub par for same price, not appropriate. Large dinner due to valentines menu $65 a person price. We asked the waitress to bring our dessert in a to go, but she oddly said it was against policy. What she did offer was to bring out dessert and then a to go box that we could utilize. What, does she just not want to pack it up for us? Who is making these policies?
This restaurant has been in business a long time and I’ve lived in colleyville a long time. I know why we don’t go there and we won’t go back.
Not good - save your money and go to del friscos, bobs, Roth Chris any of those are lights out better. ,
The food was quite good but the service was incredibly slow. It took us over two hours to get out and that was with asking them to box our desserts to go!! Not sure if it was because they were busy or just very poor management.
Don't let the previous negative reviews and comments from all the others fool you. Ferraris is a gem. Is the service perfect every time we visit? No. Sounds like every restaurant in Dallas. But you can always count on a great meal with a fresh Italian/Mediterranean twist. Good wine list. Quit being so stuffy and enjoy yourself, don't forget to order dessert! ♥️
Everyone I know does not like to get out on Valentine's Day however, this is our second time at Ferrari's on Valentine's Day and it was quiet and extremely delicious and worth it! I will go again!
We had a great server and most of the food was great. We had an issue getting the steak correct. Had to return it twice because it was burnt. The meal ended on a down note because it rook 20 minutes to get our desert after we were through eating. We only got it because we went to the server and told him to pack it up to go. I think they were not prepared for the Valentine’s Day crowd
The gnochii is so good.
We enjoyed Valentine’s Day a lot.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at your restaurant. The food, service, music were all spot on as well as the feeling of privacy at our table. We will be back.
Excellent food, ambiance and staff
We enjoy it every time we come here which is more often each day that passes under the beautiful grapevine sky
I was looking forward to trying out Ferrari’s. It was a work dinner with reservations at 6:30PM. Seating on time was perfect. Service took 45 minutes to get us set up. The staff took it upon themselves to give us appetizers while we were taken care of, perfect. What I was really disappointed about was the food. None of us really enjoyed the meal. The service was great, I just can’t give a thumbs up on the over all quality of meals. It was like eating at a restaurant who’s time has past and they’re now using a lower quality of food. Gnocchi was just okay, the NYC strip was very fatty, and we were just disappointed.
Excellent food, attentive service.
Our waiter was just rude and disrespectful and so was the manager. They had a very bad customer service, they were just ready for people to leave. They took my friend plate off the table and she wasn’t even done eating. If i could rate them a zero I would
Service was slow and kitchen backed up
We received terrible service and had to have the manager switch servers. When we arrived there wasn’t a greater at the main entrance, we stood there for a few minutes before we were acknowledged.
Once we spoke the the manager, he did take steps to correct the issues we were having.
We will not visit the Grapevine location again.
You had an unusual busy Thursday evening. We got their early for our group and never even asked if we would like a drink. No one showed us the specials, had to ask for them at the table. Had to ask for the pizza bread and had to ask for water and even though our waitress was really nice, I had to ask for everything.
This was not the best family event, we have come to Ferrari's for so many years for our grandchildren's birthdays, always where they want to go and the last 2 times were not as they have been in the past.
We were there in November and now in January for both a 14th birthday and a special 13th birthday on the January 23rd visit.
We all said, this was not a good experience for us as in the past. Neal and I have brought friends, business associates, and many large family events here, not very pleased. I know you had several men at the bar and large group of men eating at the tables. Bad timing on our part for this family event.
Just being honest to you for all the years we have been coming to your Italian Villa.
Great experience, the best service. Food is fantastic, best Italian food in the area.
Excellent preparation of gnocchi, carpaccio, and rack of lamb. Wait staff was very attentive to our needs without being overbearing.
