Great experience. I'll be back.
Authentic Italian reasonably priced
Great food, fast and efficient service
A hidden gem!
This has become our favorite place to dine with friends. Great for having conversations and food and service are always fabulous.
The food was excellent, however, the service was lacking. The staff was overwhelmed. Please note: even with an open table reservation it is necessary to call and confirm. I got yelled at for not doing this, albeit, there were no instructions to do so. Again, the food was true Italian and awesome. I will go again but make sure my reservation is at a time that staffing can handle.
I usually love dining at Ferrari's. We had a reservation for 6:30 and when we arrived the restaurant was quiet and we were ready to sit down and enjoy the meal. Very shortly the restaurant started to fill up and the wait staff was so busy with other tables that our service really suffered. By the time we got the waiter to come take our order, several other tables that had arrived after us were already being served their food. We are a laid back group, but it just took too long. When the food finally arrived, two of the pasta dishes were just warm but because everyone was hungry, no one sent their meal back. Seemed like they were short-staffed. I will go back to Ferrari's again but not soon.
We were not at all impressed with the food, it was way overpriced for the quality. We felt a bit rushed by the waiter, and for a party of only 6, he added gratuity.
I’ve been here many times, I’ve never ordered anything I didn’t like. Great service! Not a chain restaurant vibe.
I always enjoy going to Ferrari's Villa, they have been a great neighborhood spot for 25 years. When you walk in, they know who you are and have great authentic food and service. Love the Christmas decorations.
We celebrate special occasions here because the food and service is exceptional. We took my mother for her 89th birthday and she was properly fussed over and kissed goodbye by the owner.
Food is excellent, wine selection is very good. Service was great!
Wonderful service and great tastes of Italy
Wonderful food and excellent service
My husband and I dined here last night. We ordered crab claws to start, then had soup/salad, penne with chicken and bolognese. We finished the meal in a carb coma with creme brûlée and chocolate mousse. We enjoyed everything and will definitely go back. We live close - next time we will walk !
Treat yourself to the tableside service dishes! Fun AND delicious!
ok, birthday celebration noted in open table, but no response from restaurant. quiet, super nice atmosphere. bread excellent, food great, service acceptable, but something short of attentive. Addison has lots of options, most better than this. may return, but good if you don't have reservations since there are lots of open tables at 7pm and 8pm popular dinner times. not impressed, but ok.
Good, solid food. I don't know if the chefs/cooks in the kitchen are as authentic as the host and my server, both of whom were from Italy, but the food is definitely very good. I had the Penne Alla Nan, and I'd mentioned to the server that I'd wanted pasta with vegetables, but the Nan has chicken, which is fine, so he had the chef put in some extra rapini, which I appreciated. Dinners come with some homemade bread, which comes served looking basically like a round pizza minus the sauce and toppings, and it's excellent. For the amount and quality of food, it's a good bargain. Would come again for sure.
Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Very accommodating to our group with last minute reservation additions and time changes.
We have been coming to Ferrari for decades. The food is authentic Italian, not American Italian. The staff and host are always smiling and happy to see us. We have taken dozens of friends over the years and never had even a mediocre experience. It is always great.
Great food and service. Friendly servers.
Had colleagues out for dinner after work, one was traveling from New York. I hesitated taking him to an Italian restaurant, being from NY but also because he's of Italian ancestry. He raved about the food, said it was excellent! Hi praise from someone who knows!
Dinner started ok. Our server called us, “guys” throughout service and said, “yeah” repeatedly. We ordered our meals and waited, and waited. No bread, no soup, no salad. At first I thought maybe our server misunderstood us and was going to bring everything out all at once. Nope. Our meals came and no soup or salad. He had forgotten, and said so. We asked for bread and he basically said “another focaccia would be extra.” My husband and I both exclaimed at the same time, “we never got the first one!” Again our server apologized. Fine. So now we have our meals and we begin to eat. I ordered a Bone-in Ribeye, medium-rare that was to come with a red-wine pepper sauce. Steak was more medium-well and the sauce was cold. I asked if the sauce was supposed to be cold and he questioned me, “is it cold?”......ummmm, yes, I would not have asked if it was not. He took the sauce away and had it microwaved to make it hot. The focaccia that we did not get at the beginning finally came to the table, fresh out of a brick oven....with cold marinara for dipping. The other entree’s were delicious and hot. Our server did his best to fix everything from there on. Overall, kinda bumpy, but tasty at the same time. Is that possible? Lol
Simply an outstanding true Italian dinner accompanied by an quality wine.
One of the best meals of my life was eaten here. GO!
we eat here at least once a month and every meal is excellent. Starting with the fresh cooked bread to the double espresso to finish the meal. We have always been greeted warmly, and believe this family restaurant to be the best Italian in all DFW.
We had capresa and the focaccia bread as appetizers. Both were very good. Each of us ordered something different as our entrees and they were all delicious. And, of course, the meal isn’t complete without a visit from Francesco. It was a very nice experience!
Love this family owned restaurant! Try it! You won’t be disappointed
For the prices, the food and ambiance just didn't deliver. And the portions are on the smaller side. I was expecting more.
We go to Ferrari’s several times a month. The food, service and ambience is consistently fantastic! Highly recommended for a good authentic Italian dinner.
If you ever want to feel like you are in Italy for dinner, this is the place. When you enter the aroma is all Italian The welcoming staff and prompt service is top drawer. Our party enjoyed the lobster and crab ravioli, red sea bass and lasagna. What an enjoyable dinner and evening!!!!
Some of the best Italian food in DFW. Small menu with great specials. Food for all tastes.
Ferrari's continues to be the BEST ITALIAN restaurant in the DFW area. We've eaten at DaMario's, Ruggeri's, Nicola's, North Italia which are all very good restaurants! But if you want to dine on the best Italian cooking then its Ferrari's. Every time we eat there, the specials are great, and excellently prepared, service is perfect. The only thing I could wish for is that the restaurant was located a little closer (15mi). Of course if it was, then I would never try any of the other restaurants and simply eat at Ferrari's every weekend.
Our go to whenever we are in Dallas. The best authentic Italian anywhere. We'll be back!
We have been coming here for years and it is always a good experience!
My fiancé and I always go to Ferrari’s in Grapevine but decided to try this one out. Once again the ambiance and food was OUTSTANDING. Perfect for an anniversary dinner. The only complaint was that our waiter just seemed like he hated being there and he wasn’t the friendliest.
Awesome as usual.
We have been there twice. First trip my wife had a fettuccine shrimp dish which was excellent. I had cioppino which was the best I have ever had except for the lobster tail which was a bit tough. On the second visit my wife ordered the Dover sole special at our waiter's strong recommendation. She was disappointed. I reordered the cioppino which was again excellent, except for the lobster tail which was very tough. Had to be cut with a kmife and was hard to chew. The waiter reordered another one. It was also tough. Next time I may reorder the cioppino but forget the lobster and ask for more of the other ingredients. They just don't have a handle on preparing lobster tails. Their bread was wonderful. Overall, a good experience for us.
Fantastic meal! We had a mixture of steak and pastas and everything was wonderful. Love being in a restaurant where you aren't seated on top of someone else. Quiet place with great food.
Great meal, great staff, great time
