Ferrari's Italian Villa - Addison
Great Italian Food and service from a family owned restaurant. Have been many times and always enjoy the authentic experience.
Pasta faggoli soup was flavorless, served lukewarm with pasta undercooked. Pasta with chicken entree had bites of chicken that were dry and hard as well as flavorless, probably cooked previously, frozen and defrosted or heated in a microwave to the consistency of cardboard.
Service was slow and inattentive. Seems like the longtime owner/proprietor is no longer there and who knows what happened to the chef?
My fiancé and I had dinner here for Valentine's weekend. The evening started on a good note with a special request accommodated and a lovely, quiet ambiance. However, once our waiter took our order, he did not check on us at all until right before we requested the bill. We were the first customers in the restaurant for the first 30 minutes as we had an early reservation with only 3 other tables by the time we left. My fiancé's dinner was delightful, however his drink glass was not refilled until he was almost finished wither his meal. For a special occasion, the service left a lackluster feeling.
Food was a little cold when we got it. The waiter was not very attentive. They overbooked as well and it took 30 minutes after our reservation before we sat down.
Took a long time for our orders to be taken. Ordered the lamb chops medium rare and it arrived well done and petrified looking. Definitely not worth a $35 dish. Overall a waste of over $80+.
We really enjoyed the experience and would recommend Ferrari's to others. There was a wedding part there, but was cordon off to reduce disturbance. The food was excellent, as was the service.
Wonderful as always
Really disappointed- we’ve historically have had good food here but this time nothing we had was special. Very bland and chicken was rubbery.
It was so nice to just have a quiet and relaxing meal for a change. Food was excellent and the staff was great
Good lasagna. Good service. Very authentic Italian food.
My wife and I had a wonderful experience celebrating the New Year. The food was delicious, as always, and the service was excellent.
Absolutely wonderful. As always.
This is one of my favorite restaurants (I have a very short list). The service is amazing - you feel like family the minute you arrive)! The food is out of this world!!! :) I can't wait to be back!
Always great service, great people, the best food. Best Italian Food in Texas. Pasta is "Fatta en Casa" and it doesn't get better.
Love this place!!
I am an Italian/American who brought my wife and my Family visiting from Italy for the Holidays for what everyone agreed is very authentic and well prepared lunch. Arriving a little early for our noon reservation, we found some staff making (by hand) ravioli and tortellini! Each of us ordered different entrees and shared to determine the best choice off the menu. We unanimously agreed that all were outstanding. Go sometime! You will not be disappointed for sure!!
Awesome food, friendly service. A perfect place to have a truly great meal.
The food was excellent, but a priced a little higher than we normally would pay. Nice ambiance and the service was very good.
Really yummy food! We will be back!
Celebrated our anniversary - hadn’t been in years but remembered how good it was and it did not disappoint! 10+ years later and it was as good as I remembered. Very old school Italian, authentic ambiance, service, and food. Great value, amazing traditional Italian food. A true hidden gem - only a couple other tables full on a Wednesday, which was perfect for an intimate dinner. Will become a regular spot for us.
It was not only the absolute best Italian food I've ever had but by far the best restaurant.
We were very surprised to find such an authentic Italian restaurant. As an Italian/American, I feel qualified to rank Ferrari’s as the very Best in all DALLAS! You too will be impressed 👍👏
It was really good! Nice atmosphere!
Ordered the stuffed veal chop and added the red wine peppercorns sauce - I died and went to heaven. Kitchen and waitstaff work very well to ensure complete perfection even when customizing a dish (which is a rare thing I see in restaurants) - I felt incredibly welcome throughout the entire dining experience. Pasta carbonara side was delectable and made for a great morning after snack :)
As close to an Italian restaurant in Italy as I have seen.
Dinner was nice. No wait time since I had a reservation. Was a very attractive environment. Great place to take a date on a visit to Addison.
Fabulous food, made from scratch! Very attentive wait staff
The most amazing beef carpaccio I've ever had. Pasta dish was wonderful--cooked perfectly, as were the clams. The service was impersonal and offbeat but improved toward the end. Our reservation was at 730 and it took over 10 minutes for our drink order to be taken (the restaurant was not busy), at which time we also ordered an appetizer. At 8 pm, the owner came over and we were were being rushed to place our order, he stated "the kitchen closes at 9" and we were confused since it was barely 8 pm. We would like to return with the hope that service is better and staff doesn't seem annoyed. Not to mention, it was my husband's birthday, which they failed to notice on the reservation, as I had requested a table for 2. I also had to ask for our table candle to be lit. Small details and nuances that truly make a difference in someone's experience, albeit, deserving of a second chance.
Great food. For a Sunday service was a little slow. Hopefully during week they have better coverage. Food is good and will go back.
The best place in Dallas!
It was an intimate dining experience. The owners greeted us and visited our table to be sure all was good. It was entertaining to watch the lady make and cook the appetizer bread in the brick oven. We will go back.
As always, everything was excellent!
One of my very favorite places
Excellent food and service
OUTSTANDING LOCATION. Had a nice and intimate date night and the service was absolutely top notch. The food exceeded our expectations. This place is such a hidden gem and we are so glad to have found it.
Ferrari’s was great as usual and the perfect place to celebrate my Moms Birthday. The restaurant is so cozy with great atmosphere, service, and of course amazing food. Everything was so hot and fresh! The sweet family who owns it just tops it off. We had a great time.
Two of us who got spinach pasta dish sick for days
Fantastic small quiet place with fresh ingredients and excellent service! Can’t believe I did not try earlier but will definitely be back. Fresh bread a great start and portions are large and fabulous tasting with enough for lunch the next day
Waiter and accompanying wait staff super attentive. Food outstanding! Will definitely return.
