Ferrari's Italian Villa - Addison
The food was excellent, but a priced a little higher than we normally would pay. Nice ambiance and the service was very good.
Really yummy food! We will be back!
Celebrated our anniversary - hadn’t been in years but remembered how good it was and it did not disappoint! 10+ years later and it was as good as I remembered. Very old school Italian, authentic ambiance, service, and food. Great value, amazing traditional Italian food. A true hidden gem - only a couple other tables full on a Wednesday, which was perfect for an intimate dinner. Will become a regular spot for us.
It was not only the absolute best Italian food I've ever had but by far the best restaurant.
We were very surprised to find such an authentic Italian restaurant. As an Italian/American, I feel qualified to rank Ferrari’s as the very Best in all DALLAS! You too will be impressed 👍👏
Ordered the stuffed veal chop and added the red wine peppercorns sauce - I died and went to heaven. Kitchen and waitstaff work very well to ensure complete perfection even when customizing a dish (which is a rare thing I see in restaurants) - I felt incredibly welcome throughout the entire dining experience. Pasta carbonara side was delectable and made for a great morning after snack :)
As close to an Italian restaurant in Italy as I have seen.
Dinner was nice. No wait time since I had a reservation. Was a very attractive environment. Great place to take a date on a visit to Addison.
Fabulous food, made from scratch! Very attentive wait staff
The most amazing beef carpaccio I've ever had. Pasta dish was wonderful--cooked perfectly, as were the clams. The service was impersonal and offbeat but improved toward the end. Our reservation was at 730 and it took over 10 minutes for our drink order to be taken (the restaurant was not busy), at which time we also ordered an appetizer. At 8 pm, the owner came over and we were were being rushed to place our order, he stated "the kitchen closes at 9" and we were confused since it was barely 8 pm. We would like to return with the hope that service is better and staff doesn't seem annoyed. Not to mention, it was my husband's birthday, which they failed to notice on the reservation, as I had requested a table for 2. I also had to ask for our table candle to be lit. Small details and nuances that truly make a difference in someone's experience, albeit, deserving of a second chance.
Great food. For a Sunday service was a little slow. Hopefully during week they have better coverage. Food is good and will go back.
The best place in Dallas!
It was an intimate dining experience. The owners greeted us and visited our table to be sure all was good. It was entertaining to watch the lady make and cook the appetizer bread in the brick oven. We will go back.
As always, everything was excellent!
One of my very favorite places
Excellent food and service
OUTSTANDING LOCATION. Had a nice and intimate date night and the service was absolutely top notch. The food exceeded our expectations. This place is such a hidden gem and we are so glad to have found it.
Ferrari’s was great as usual and the perfect place to celebrate my Moms Birthday. The restaurant is so cozy with great atmosphere, service, and of course amazing food. Everything was so hot and fresh! The sweet family who owns it just tops it off. We had a great time.
Two of us who got spinach pasta dish sick for days
Fantastic small quiet place with fresh ingredients and excellent service! Can’t believe I did not try earlier but will definitely be back. Fresh bread a great start and portions are large and fabulous tasting with enough for lunch the next day
Waiter and accompanying wait staff super attentive. Food outstanding! Will definitely return.
Great food. Excellent value.
We enjoyed the Restaurant Week menu - I had the Lobster Thermador, while two others in our party had the steak - both were delicious!
The service was excellent; they paid attention to what you needed without being there too much. An Italian restaurant without being only about pizza and spaghetti. Meat and fish entrees were well prepared.
The service was absolutely horrible. The waiter never checked on us during the time were there or asked if we needed anything. In addition to that, I asked if I could have dipping sauce to take home with Calamari and my left over dipping sauce I didn’t used all of was put in a to go cup for me to take home after I used it! Also, I asked my waiter again just before we left could I have some dipping sauce to go and again he filled up a quarter of the to go container for me to take home. What horrible experience!
It is difficult to find an Italian restaurant like Ferrari's in Dallas. I have lived 5 minutes away for 20 years and tonight was my first night. The menu and the wine list are a lifetime's worth of dining adventure. Go and experience for yourself. If you are looking for an Italian dinner in Dallas, neither Terelli's nor Lucia nor Macellaio really holds a candle to the white table cloth and soft lighting of the brick arches or the mirror to the dough rolling. Che bello, che bello.
Great food and great value! Very romantic atmosphere
A friend and I tried Ferrari's for restaurant week. We had an early dinner at 6:00pm food was delicious highly recommend the Calamari, Lobster Ravioli and the chocolate dessert.
Great food and amazing service. We went on a Monday so restaurant was not busy. Owners were both there. It’s a great restaurant to support especially since it is family owned.
It was our first time at Ferrari’s and most probably our last time. It became apparent they were understaffed that night and one of the owners did speak to us and let us know that two waitstaff didn’t show up and the difficulty to keep people. Our food was warm, the waiter brought us the wrong salad, never asked how are food tasted, didn’t ask if we wanted a second drink and received one water refill. You could tell they have many repeat customers that did receive faster service and the waitstaff preferentially attended to them. It was quite loud and the veal was lukewarm and not as tender as I expected. The green beans were delicious but again lukewarm. Both of the owners were very present throughout the evening and I was told they’ve been in business for a long time but they were definitely off last night. In one sentence, accommodating but not on point.
We have been dining there for years and it is always consistently delicious. The owners treat you like family.
We have had dinner at Ferrari's many times. We have never been disappointed. My wife and I, family and friends and business associates have ordered just about everything on the menu. You can't go wrong by going to either of the Ferrari's restaurants.
It took an hour for our table of 6 to receive our food once ordered. Everything else was great.
As always, the food, service and atmosphere are really nice here. It's close to home for me and one of my favorite places.
One of our favorite restaurants. The complimentary brick oven bread & manors sauce is outstanding.
I LOVE this little hidden gem of a restaurant. The ambience is perfectly quiet--you can actually hear your dinner party! The food is fabulous and the service impeccable!
Absolutely awesome authentic Italian food. I was in Italy recently and this brought back wonderful memories.
Unpretentious atmosphere and a delicious meal. What more could you ask for?
