Very lovely restaurant really enjoyed myself and food was good
Really enjoyed my birthday, the staff made it very special. The food was amazing and for a good price!
Would defiantly recommend and would go again
Thanks very much!
Great food - we really enjoyed the shared platter/ feast!
My weekly family treat - great food great place!!
The food was a little over priced, taking order could of been a little helpful... wanted something got another🙈could of provided hot drink & dessert menu later, even after asking no joy☹️
We loved our meal at Feng Shang!
The variety of dishes on offer for vegetarians was the best we have seen at a Chinese restaurant and everything was delicious- definitely recommend the Veggie Platter if you're a herbivore.
Service was great and there was a lovely ambience. Definitely visiting again.
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, we went in the evening so missed the views but very pleasant surroundings.
Would go again. Staff very busy but food is very well cooked and tasted delicious.
Average, quality of produce is not the best and service is annoying.
Unusual venue, well clean and no frills
What a fun setting! The food was amazing too.
Food was very nice and fresh and service was the quickest I’ve seen so would highly recommend
I was not pleased with the COVID measures at this place or the food or the service. Me and my partner felt so claustrophobic and neglected for most of the time, we were also sat next to someone who was coughing and sweating. The restaurant forgot our drinks despite the food being served. Cutlery and plates were dirty. My partners glass with ice looked like it had been there for a while. To be honest I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry when the bill came and it was £100 plus. Looks nice from the outside though.
No social distancing sadly, expensive and feed medicore.
Dim Sum steamed were up there as the best ever. Fresh, authentic and quick.
A lovely restaurant with great dishes
Feng Shang on Regents Canal was a beautiful setting to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday. We had set menu for the table of 6, and found the quantity and taste great. Staff were friendly and service efficient.
Had to wait until about 21:15 to be seated, despite having a table booked for 20:15. Food made up for it though. Was very nice and great value for money. Would definitely go again
Lovely place, unusual location, atmosphere is great. The seating next to the windows is best as it allows to observe the sun set while dining. Quick service, tasty fresh food although not too inventive. Peaceful, calm, homely feeling. Staff - well trained and very polite.
Eating Chinese food on this enchanting Red Boat in the Regents Canal is always a memorable experience! Service is always good, with food orders miraculously appearing almost immediately. Some surprisingly good wine selections, with many at half the price you would see elsewhere. Don’t miss the crowd favourite Crispy Shredded Chilli Beef! And the sub-£40 Pouilly-Fuissé is exceptional.
Amazing food...very good quality. Portion sizes are far from small! Staff are very attentive and friendly.
We had a family dinner, We all had a lovely time service was so good and food is excellent apart from Chicken Lemon Tasted like Rubber
Everything else was very delicious
I t is a nice night out but definitely is Not Cheap
Lovely setting, well organised, good service, food excellent!
The food was much better than I remembered from a previous visit years ago...it really was very good quality. The ambience and surroundings are lovely but only slight complaint was the service. We wanted wine but had to keep trying to get attention of waiter to place our order. That was a small gripe. We will definitely return and would travel to visit this Chinese restaurant.
Excellent service and very helpful and attentive staff.
Never been here before even though have lived in the area for 20 years. It’s quite an unusual place. We were shown downstairs and it was very busy due to the ‘eat out to help out’ - however next time I’ll try and get a window seat upstairs. Service friendly and food timely - good comfort food - if you are here everyday you’d get very fat, but nice as a treat.
Service was slow, good food and nice ambience.
Hard to fault. Everything was excellent.
Feng Shang Princess was a restaurant that immediately caught my eye when I saw it. After committing the name to memory, I was able to convince my friends that this tourist-trap looking restaurant was worth shelling out 35 pounds for a course. The day had come for our reservation and the we were seated promptly at one of the tables on the second floor. We were given underwhelming paper menus where you check off what you want, so not a great start, but I wasn't going to let this dishearten me. We ordered our drinks, apps, and entrees all at the same time, with our drinks coming not long after along with one or two of the appetizers. I was somewhat underwhelmed by my veggie spring roll, but my friend's prawn toast looked good, so I held out hope. And then we waited. And waited. And waited. None of the other appetizers came out. After 45 minutes, the only thing that arrived was one of my friends entrees. We assumed the others were on the way, so she waited to eat. Then thirty minutes went by. In the meantime, two different groups were seated, served, and left, and two flies landed in our drinks, which we complained about and received new ones. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy this Monday night, so we kept asking the waiters where our food was, and they replied that the food was on its way. After two hours of waiting, one of our dishes finally came out. It looked and tasted like mall Chinese food. When my friend said her food had become cold in the process of waiting, they offered to refund her. We finally stood up after the wait and said we would not be paying. One of the waitresses immediately snatched a cold prawn toast out of my friends hand and said "no pay, no eat". Not that we experienced a lot of the food, but in the little nibbles we did have, I would strongly recommend taking your money literally anywhere else. The view is beautiful. Maybe order deliveroo to your table. If you really feel like hating yourself, stop by the Princess for some self-sabotage.
Food and experience was great. Portion sizes were very good and allowed take away.
Beautiful place, great service and good food. Overall I would recommend it
Went on a date here with my partner, for two of us we spent around £80 (not including service charge). For the price we got a lot of food, ending up having to take his order home as take away. The portions are much larger than you think but very tasty so no complaints. The staff are lovely and the overall ambience is really nice. Will surely be visiting again.
Good short staffed and a few errors like wrong bill
Excellent food and beautiful location. Would definitely come again.
Delicious food and excellent service.
Perfect setting and food, always a pleasure dining here.
A great restaurant in an interesting location. Really classy Chinese food with some different menu items
One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to in London.
Very disappointing experience. After waiting one hour, was told there was a problem in the kitchen and therefore orders were delayed. Not even the starters were served. However, throughout the entire time, many takeaway meals were coming out of the kitchen for home delivery. Furthermore, other tables were being served, even ones that ordered after mine. I don’t understand how restaurants prioritise takeaway orders over customers waiting at the restaurant for a meal. Wouldn’t recommend this place.
An amazing restaurant for NYE. Three friends & I had dinner here on New Year’s Eve, enjoyed fantastic food and drinks then walked to see the fireworks from primrose hill at midnight. The staff were so friendly and went well above & beyond what we expected. I would highly recommend to anyone!
Despite being drawn to the fact it’s a restaurant floating in Regent Canal, the food is actually delicious and the portions are perfect.
