What a waste of $60!!! This place use to be good years ago when it first opened but not now. First of all, the owner/host is MISERABLE!! He barely picked his head up when we walked in the front door. There was no warm welcome. He THREW our menus on our table and rushed back to his 'post' at the front door. Second....the food STUNK. I had "eggplant parm". It was AWFUL!!! This place is great if you don't know what good food tastes like. Never again! Off the list!!!
Owner was charming. Staff was attentive without intrusive. Food was great!
Consistently delicious and reliable! Thank you for the wonderful food warm atmosphere and value!
Excellent! Our reservation was for 5 and 6 arrived. Staff went out of there way to make us comfortable and happy. Food was outstanding.
Food was plentiful and very good. This is a nice neighborhood Italian restaurant. Will definitely return and so glad they’re close by.
Family Christmas Eve Dinner
Great Italian food at a very reasonable choice. Large selection. The grilled artichoke appetizer was excellent.
Always a good meal. Host very engaging. Clean. Shame the restaurant could not be just a little bit bigger so you are not so close at the tables. Will be back.
This cozy byob is one of our favorites! They treat you like family & their food is plentiful & delicious! Patricio is the best!!
Simple, unassuming strip mall location. The food is delicious. We basically licked our plates. Fried calamari was heavenly. Chicken Milanese was amazing. The menu is very extensive, everything Italian you’ve ever heard of is in the menu, so we’re definitely coming back to try more of their dishes.
Like always delicious
Excellent food, great service. The only thing that kept it from 5 stars was the noise level.
Our server, a young college girl from WestChester was so lovely and personable!
Food is excellent and priced well. Wait staff is very attentive and eager to please. 5 stars for both of those points. Not so for the following. Restaurant is small. I had made reservations for 5. The table waiting for us was a table which would accommodate 4 comfortably but not 5. The person who drew the short straw had to sit at the end of the table which was very uncomfortable for them and made table space tight. There was a table which would accommodate 6 in the center of the restaurant. We asked to move but were told that table was reserved. It remained unocccupied the entire time we were there. The manager/owner is very rude. Two guests ordered coffee and desert. The manager/owner repeatedly came over and looked at our table to see if we were finished. When the coffee and desert were consumed he asked us to give up the table. I don't think I would return despite the food being very good.
The servers were pleasant, the food came fast, and the chicken parm was fantastic.
The food is always terrific, as is the service. We are never disappointed. One of our favorite places to dine.
Best eggplant parm ever. Service was great and food was awesome
Excellent is the word to describe the food, friendly staff and overall experience. We highly recommend this restaurant and any menu choice that will not disappoint.
We had a wonderful dinner at Fellini’s. The portions are large and a good value. We have been there twice in the last month and both dinners were outstanding. Service was also excellent.
Served by the owner! Nice and intimate with casual feel. Thanks
Seating is too cramped.
Food and service were excellent. Natalie helped to make our dining experience really nice.
The food is superb, but I would suggest less cream sauce as a topping for the large number of pasta dishes, especially for the carbonara, on which cream is not used. I have been to Rome many times including recently. I had carbonara three times on this recent visit, each time better than the other, and none with cream. The service was deplorable; having to wait an hour and a quarter for getting your dinner served is outrageous. Consequently, I would not recommend Fellini, in Newtown Square, at least on a Friday or a Saturday.
Food and service were excellent!
The noise level was a bit high.
Amazing food!!!Small dining room but worth being a little tight!
I visited the Newtown Square Fellini's for the first time for something different, having been to the one in Media, I must say my other 2 guests liked their dinners; however, mine was unlike anything I've ever tasted. Rigatoni with sundried tomatoes, chicken and pesto. I asked for lite pesto sauce. When it arrived I never saw pesto mixed with what looked like mayo, the chicken was not a fresh cooked chicken breast but what you can find in a grocery store as in Perdue precooked chicken slices. There was too much sauce on it, I stated I wanted light sauce and the waitress correctly wrote it down on the slip. Any pesto dish I've ever eaten was green with light olive oil. In fairness, my companions liked their dinners even though I thought my husbands was way too heavy on the sauce but I would not return. The options for dinner were different than the one in Media (much better) so I will continue to patronize that one.
My husband and I have been there twice now in the last couple of months. The food is good but both times we felt pressure to leave so they could open up our table. The waitress starting clearing plates while we were still eating etc. The overall vibe is quick service and leave. No talking, and lingering at all after dinner. Doesn’t make for a relaxing Saturday night dinner.
Waited over an hour for our food and owner took a $7 salad off of our bill - will not be returning. It was crazy that they are doing so much takeout and the people in the restaurant are not being served well.
The food is always wonderful. Service is always good.
This is our go to family restaurant in the area
The quality of the food continues to be very good and very plentiful!
Everything was perfect from the food to the service. Highly recommend.
The food is fresh and excellent. The service is competent.
Everything I have tasted so far has been amazing. The service is awesome and it’s a nice place to dine out with friends, or by yourself. I enjoy doing both. It’s never overcrowded and I am looking forward to my next visit.
We’ve eaten here many times. This was the first time we waited forever for our food. Others seated after us got their food before we did. Was told take-out and delivery orders got the kitchen behind. Huh?
Food still delicious and great value. Fingers crossed this was a one-time issue.
Went for my son’s birthday on 9/27, the food never disappoints. Always a delicious meal!
For my husband and I - it is our "go to" place. We just brought a guest who is an attorney who travels a lot and lives in the South and he LOVED his chicken marsala dish and sharing my entree salad ( # 15 with the crab/lemon sauce)-we'll be back.
It was only our second visit but both times dinner was absolutely delicious! The service was friendly and at a good pace, not slow but not pushing us out too quickly. It was a great birthday experience!
Owner/Manager?was chasing his tail.
On phone all the time indie and outside.
Portions would be better if smaller and better tasting.
This review is a mixed bag. While the meal - the food itself - was very good, the manner in which we were treated by the owner was memorably bad, and we have no desire to patronize a business operated in such a style.
One of the reasons we booked this restaurant was because pizza was on the menu. After being seated, we inquired why pizza was not on the menu. The waitress politely explained that it was not available after 3 p.m. except for take-out but she would ask the owner. When she did, he started screaming that there would not be pizza and came over to our table. We mentioned the online menu, and he said the online menu clearly stated this policy. When we showed him that the menu on his website and on Open Table did not state this, he barked at us that we could leave, he wasn't going to force us to stay.
We decided to stay, and be served by our shell-shocked waitress. Meanwhile, the owner kept walking past our table and looking at us as though we had killed his puppies, that is, his body language could not have been clearer.
As to our meals, the food was very good, but the disgraceful conduct of the owner was all we will remember about this restaurant.
The food is delicious but the decor needs to be updated. Extra protein is wayyyyyy over priced (especially shrimp). 4 shrimps, $8... $2 PER shrimp!!! We sat next to the front window and there were a fair amount of bugs on the inside of the window.. not anyone’s fault but big moths flying around you during a dinner you’re paying for. Would return again.
