Felice 15 Gold Street
FELICE, the ultimate Tuscan Restaurant and wine bar, already in two locations on the Upper East Side in NYC, is now venturing down to the Financial District. Opening in Gild Hall, a Thompson Hotel, 15 Gold Street will introduce authentic Italian classics and the family’s namesake wines to the Wall Street community in its intimate 40-seat restaurant and upstairs wine lounge called La Soffitta. This successful restaurant is already a favorite uptown, amongst local clientele, wine lovers and serious foodies alike.
Food was cold in more than occasion, service is great and they took care of a few items to compensate.
Always delicious with great service
An absolutely beautiful experience, wouldn’t change a thing.
Kept waiting over 30 minutes. Forgot it was a birthday. Responded nicely when they were reminded.
Service is always great, and the food is delish! No complaints whatsoever.
My pasta was cold when it came, and they didn’t bring the veggie side until both me and my dining companion had finished our meals. They asked if we wanted cheese then disappeared; we had to wait to flag down a server to get cheese. Seems like they need to work out the small communication details on service.
Was staying at the hotel attached and came in for brunch. Great food, but our server didn't seem particularly interested in serving us. I had to ask for coffee 3 times, which maybe made me irritable since I really need my coffee in the morning. However, the food was very good and brunch comes with a free mimosa or bellinni wich was a nice touch. I'd eat there again as I hear the dinner is quite good as well. Happy hour was nice, not too loud on Friday but a lot livlier on Saturday night. Good Happy Hour specials.
Consistently good food and some nice values on their wine list. We have had the same waiter 3x in a row and he is fantastic.
Walking in, the restaurant was much larger than I had originally realized when I had passed by it several times. We were seated upstairs which was relatively quiet compared to the first floor which was more lively. In terms of the food, the meatballs we got as an appetizer were terrific. I especially like the nice crunch they had which I believe was breadcrumbs. Both of the pasta dishes we ordered were good, although I preferred the fettuccine alla bolognese over the linguine di mare which had a squid reduction that was stronger than I liked. The service was excellent as well, and our waiter was very helpful in explaining dishes and giving his suggestions. We would definitely return when we want a nice quiet date night with amazing Italian food.
Always great! Thank you.
Our 3 year anniversary always a great time with our favorite waiter Francisco.
Lovely meal. Great value as we had the lunch fixed price. Would recommend
Discovered over the Christmas holidays. Festive for the season...offered the option to be seated upstairs which was quiet and great for conversation. Service was very good and we truly enjoyed our meals. I do not live in NYC but would definitely return if visiting town.
Food is always really yummy here. They have a gluten free pasta as well, and gf bread. The service is wonderful too.
Love it here, although the upstairs is raucously loud; stay downstairs if you want to talk and have a civilized time. Food is great — esp the bread! — and service is wonderful and not overbearing.
Great service, delicious food, warm and cozy ambiance!
The food was amazing! My only complaint is that we got a (very cold) draft every time the door opened but that can be fixed by requesting a table further away from the door next time.
The food is very good and reasonably priced for NYC. It’s always fresh, tasty and the service is good.
Beautifully prepared Italian food with culinary creativity. Everything is always delicious!
The food was great, but the service was poor. The waitress approached us with her notepad and didn’t speak, just looked at us waiting for us to order, I guess. Fine for a diner, but not a for a restaurant. Then everything was super slow and we had to ask for our drinks/refills multiple time. (The table next to us never got a coffee they ordered and gave up trying.) But, the food was really good. The restaurant is cute and cozy. Just sad that the service ruined the experience.
Food was great, service was great, value was great! Will definitely go back.
It was delicious! And I thought very reasonably priced for the quality! Well done.
My wife and I went here on our first data and we loved it. We also have brought back a number of friends and they have all enjoyed it much as we have.
The food overall was very good as were the drinks. The place is a little loud and on the smaller size, but still had a pleasant ambiance. My only complaint is the lighting, it’s dark and difficult to read the menu. Otherwise, I would recommend this restaurant.
As always a great experience! I particularly appreciated that the manager acknowledged the table wasn’t ready and made sure to visit us in the bar to let us know the status. Not even that late, but he respected our time-much appreciated!
Came here for a date and it was really special! Nice and quiet and plenty of room so you don’t feel on top on one another. The food was amazing and the dessert was great, too!
Great food at a reasonable price and nice ambience but very slow service.
Just when you think you can't possibly choose what to eat, they tease you with the specials. All plates tasted amazing complimented by a lovely selection of wines.
The prix-fixed menu was great! The service was very nice.
Wonderful spot... I went there sort of by accident, and I’m glad I did. I genuinely enjoyed everything from start to finish, and the service was great.
My husband and I found this gem by chance we have been back several times and they do not disappoint the food is always fresh and cooked to order also very authentic Italian cuisine. I am paleo and they have paleo options including an organic cage free chicken dish. Also the blueberry tart for dessert was amazing...
Small joint, odd bar arrangement, as it spills into the lobby of the hotel. They will do bar service there, while you wait for your table. Given the high noise volume in the bar area, that was a great choice for us. Very pleasant staff doing a good job in tight quarters.
Consistently very good. Allow time if they are busy, quality sometimes comes at expense of speed! But worth it.
This is one of my favorite local spots! The foot and wine is fantastic. The ambience is cozy and warm.
Despite it being Italian none of us had pasta. 2 a salad and they were rather small for the price and two had sandwiches and loved them. I loved the cheese on my salad. Nothing over the top special, but I'd go back for a business lunch. Quiet which is hard to find anymore.
Everything was fine and we enjoyed the evening but I was not blown away. Given the price point I expected a higher quality of food. The portion sizes were much smaller than expected. In particular, the deserts were underwhelming.
Our food was delicious, but dessert not so great. The appetizers were outstanding and the entree was very good. The problem with dessert was the cheesecake. It was so dry, we couldn’t eat it. One in our party had the sundae and loved it!
No A/C. Would not seat until all parties were present, which was a little ridiculous considering few tables were even occupied on a Sunday morning. Service was good, waitress was attentive. Would skip the cacio e Pepe as it was too rich/cheesy, but the baked eggs were fine. Would have preferred runnier eggs. Not a bad spot to grab a quick lunch, just wouldn’t necessarily go back for the food.
A charming intimate restaurant, very attentive staff, great follow up service on Open table reservation made on line. As hotel guest felt at home.
Im at Felice several times a month. Freshnes and quality of food is superb. Presenation of food is as top notch. The staff is super attentive and courteous.
