Felice 15 Gold Street
FELICE, the ultimate Tuscan Restaurant and wine bar, already in two locations on the Upper East Side in NYC, is now venturing down to the Financial District. Opening in Gild Hall, a Thompson Hotel, 15 Gold Street will introduce authentic Italian classics and the family’s namesake wines to the Wall Street community in its intimate 40-seat restaurant and the upstairs called La Soffitta is open for larger parties and private events. This successful restaurant is already a favorite uptown, amongst local clientele, wine lovers, and serious foodies alike.
- Proof of vaccination required to dine indoors
Tonnarelli Cacio E Pepe
Pecorino Romano, freshly ground black pepper, 24-month aged Parmigiano-Reggiano
Spaghetti Alla Carbonara
homemade spaghetti, eggs, Pecorino Romano, Parmigiano-Reggiano, crispy bacon
traditional chicken milanese, wild arugula, cherry tomatoes, shaved Parmigiano, balsamic reduction
The salmon tartare portion was very small and the cornish hen did not have much meat on it.
The ambience is very nice and service was good.
This is a very fine restaurant. No complaints at all. Great Prix fixe menu. Our waiter was great. Also you cannnot get in without proof of vaccine. I got there and I forgot my phone which had my vax card information in it. They would not let me in I had to go home for my phone. That's what all the restaurants should be doing.
Had a great anniversary dinner. Food never disappoints
Lovely restaurant with warm ambiance and very tasty homemade pasta!!
Super sympa et très bon
Excellent service, good food and drinks. Will be back
Been wanting to try Felice as they will be opening a location in my neighborhood in Brooklyn soon. The food was really good so I would go back for that. However, the service was severely lacking. I had a reservation for 8pm and we were not seated until 8:45pm. They kept apologizing saying the table just would not get up. With covid, I've been informed many times by other establishments that there's a time limit on the table and have been politely asked to pay and leave so they could seat their next reservation. Not sure what that wasn't done here. So we sat super late and then felt very rushed to eat. We hadn't even gotten our mains when they asked for last call for the bar and dessert. Again, food and ambience was great but just did not like how the staff treated us.
Best meal we had during our trip to New York City. Nice wine selection as well
Very attentive service, delicious food and nice setting.
The most lousy and expensive breakfast we had in NYC in our 9 days stay.
Had a reservation and got our table immediately. However after ordering we waited for a very long time and we could see that at least three different parties got their orders before us.
When asking for our food they came with it 5 minutes later - cold eggs and cold roasted potatoes, and the french toasts was slighty over burned and cold as well. Price example: ordered a caffe latte, which was in total 1 deciliter i a smal cup - price 6,5 $.
This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in the city. I go at least once every two weeks. The wait staff is amazing and attentive and there isn't one dish on the menu I haven't loved. Fan favorites are definitely the Cacio e Pepe and brussel sprouts. Their house wines are also great.
Charming little Italian restaurant, we really enjoyed our lunch
Felice never disappoints. I had the lentil soup and Branzino with a glass of Brunello. Perfect start into the Thanksgiving holiday
Very great atmosphere and even better food. Definitely will be coming back!
My lasagna left a lot to be desired of terms of portion size and flavor
Wonderful as usual!
Loved every bite.
Food was amazing!!! Very cozy atmosphere and server was superb
Great italian food!!!!
Felice is where Globalists staying at the Gild Hall Hotel take their breakfasts. Over the five days we stayed at the hotel the rules for how breakfast worked changed every day. In addition we were overcharged one day which was never corrected. While the food was well prepared the last morning got downright weird. My fruit plate was plated with roasted potatoes instead of toast as described on the menu....and a package of jam.
When I asked what the jam was for I was told to put on the potatoes.
My first time dining at Felice Gold Street - and it was pure gold. I started with a wonderful plate of broccoli rabe and parmesan. I then had the spaghetti with a tomato clam sauce and prawn and scallop. Simply amazing. I finished with chocolate hazelnut cake, which was out of this world. They have a lovely selection of outdoor seating. My server Jesus was fantastic and made sure that everything was perfect. I can't wait to go back.
We had a great dinner here! Portions were a good size and everything we had was delicious! Service was excellent! We didn’t feel rushed at all! Will definitely come back!
Outstanding service and delicious food.
Only problem was the food unfortunately. Mahi was way too salty.
Great meal and service. Delicious pasta dishes. Cacie e Pepi was delicious as were the ravioli.
Definitely will return
Felice was by far the best restaurant I have ever been to!! From the host/hostess, waiters, the food, the drinks HANDS DOWN 10/10!!
Prepandemic this was my go-to for lunch with colleagues or business partners. Well-priced pre-fixe lunch menu with a variety of high quality, tasty Italian-inspired options. Staff are friendly and professional. I can't find a reason not to recommend this restaurant.
Great venue, charming server, good food. Very accommodating staff.
Delicious food, nice ambiance and great service, would definitely recommend!
The service is outstanding. Food is wonderfully refreshing. I will have a repeat visit soon.
A disappointing experience. The restaurant looks nice from the outside, but it is inside of a hotel and you keep seeing people checking in if they seat you in the bar area which is open to the lobby.
The food is OK but has no character - definitely not what I would call “authentic”. In fact, I somehow got the feeling that I was eating at a chain restaurant.
Service was mixed: a disinterested hostess, a very friendly server, and a rude manager who told us they were closing and it was time for us to leave (right after they had served us digestifs). I would definitely not go back.
The menu and specials were AMAZING! My only complaint is that there was a couple seated very close to us that was determined to make out and touch each other all over the booth and bumping into me while I was trying to eat. Just weird.. they also could not eat garlic so the restaurant tried to make them something and they refused. After wasting the table and being horrible occupants, the only drank and then left. People like this should be asked to leave so other paying costumers aren’t effected. Other than that, a great meal!
delicious food. outdoor seating was minimal but still nice to have the option
This was a disappointing visit. The water arrived at our table and announced the specials without asking if we would like to order drinks. After we received our meal, he never returned to inquire if we were satisfied with our meal. Two of the four meals were satisfactory, but two found their salmon and chicken very dry. We will not return.
We went for the restaurant week special and they told us they aren’t doing restaurant week anymore. (Even though it’s still on the official website as participating.) the server told us many other tables are asking about it too but they’re not participating. So that was disappointing.
We went to here for dinner. The food are overprice and the service are not good.
Great dining experience!! The food was really delicious - ricotta toast, rice balls, bolognese and the fusilli. Favorites by far were the ricotta and fusilli (the bolognese didn’t have much of a flavor profile but the homemade pasta was divine). The timing of the food was perfect between courses. The waiter was not entirely sure of the menu items that they did not have which made the service slightly confusing. Ambiance was great and I would definitely recommend going here!
Loved the rustic decor and the ambience of the hotel. We stopped in for the Restaurant Week menu. Such a great value for excellent food with good size portions. I had the rice balls and calamari for appetizers, the salmon and potatoes for the entree and espresso tiramisu for dessert.
The food came very quickly and it was delicious. We both got gelato for dessert and recommend that.
It was delicious and the service was great
